When this kind of crap used to happened to me, when I was still driving, I would just pull over and wet a tire, or check my chains or straps, and/or check my tires. In the few minutes that it took for me to do so the source of my aggravation was 3 or 4 miles down the road and I didn’t have to deal with them again. It was much easier than dealing with people like this and the anger and anxiety that they cause. Life is too short to let things like this get to you.
Yea I don't drive trailers but I get this on my commute often. I'll just move over and let them get way ahead of me then I go back to doing my thing. Funny thing is I always end up passing the tough guy with out them even noticing
Better than the police, call their Safety Department and get an email address. Then email the video. Believe me, Safety will be on the phone with him in 10 minutes.
@@garyvolkmann3647 If that were true, they would have to terminate over half of their drivers. They are hands down the most aggressive drivers as a company.
I worked safety for them for 10 years. I and others quit when they stopped doing driver safety. It’s up to their independent contractor to teach them safety. FedEx Ground Safety will not call the driver, they will call the truck owner and leave it up to them if they do something or not. These owners need drivers too bad.
I Drove trucks in the 80s from sea to shining sea, and I never experienced such child-like behavior, of total disregard, and lack of professionalism, but that seems to be the way of the world these days. - Godspeed
@@vogelvogeltje Not what I said. I said "I never EXPERIENCED such child-like behavior, or total disregard, and lack of professionalism". I'm sure there were plenty of jack asses driving trucks, but there were a lot less people in the world at that time and I can speak with 60 years of life that there were way fewer angry people, also CB radio was the only communcation we had with the outside world so if you had a beef with another driver you just said your piece, but I never had another driver behave so dangerously. I'm sure it happened, just not me. I found in my years of driving that the good people way out weighed the bad. - Godspeed
I was driving on a snowy highway in Pennsylvania, a few years ago (in a pickup). I had a FedEx driver, (with 2 trailers, like this one) run up on my ass as I was in the right lane, going about 50 due to the road conditions. He layed on his horn, like I was doing something wrong and passed me, nearly catching my back bumper. Then he sped up even more. There was a long curve in the road, and about 5 miles ahead, I caught up with him. Only, at this point, his truck and trailers were on their side. Karma.
I drove for 11 years and finally I just was cool and followed this truck into a truck stop, and when the driver left I went oner to his truck and removed all 18 tire stems.
@@75egcg Never happened. I had my own places to stop and sleep. I delivered cow chow so i was on a totally different schedule than regulat truckers. But as I looked back upon that ,I felt bad that I did that. I really doubt that that act did anything to change any thing.
I'm a regular car driver, and that happened to ME with a child in my car in a very hard rainstorm! I called the police because I thought I HAD been hit (it was seriously that close; later I had no visible damage though). No dash cam, but after I passed crazy trucker and he SPED UP like he was going to run me over, I got off the next exit as dispatcher lady instructed and the police overtook him on exit ramp 😂 WHEW! I didn't have to file the report: they SAW it! And they called me later to make sure I'd had my car looked at for damages. It was literally terrifying.
This is why when I retired I gave up my CDL A. Professional drivers are sure lacking and only going to get worse with driver shortage. Always run a dash cam to protect your license and be safe.
@Indians Auto You can still use it for small stuff, there’s many companies that will pay retired CDL holders to drive Mack trucks and other larger vehicles you need a special license to drive from point A to point B. It’s a good way to make money after retiring.
The best use of a CDL (Class 1 in Canada) is to get gigs with film companies- it's a blast :) It is hard to let go, I'd had mine 30 years, and for a girl back then it was an accomplishment.
CDL needs to be revoked! He has two trailers and is as reckless, if not more so, than people with road rage in regular cars. You were so calm and kept it professional and very respectful to others on the road. Amazing job, Mr.Tex! I'm glad you are okay!!!! 🖤
Fed x wasn't the problem the driver that was in the left lane was the problem I drove 43 years and you just don't drive the left lane unless your passind
I used to work for FedEx ground. Its an EXTREMELY stressful job, therefore, NO stressed out FedEx driver's should be allowed on the road!! Too dangerous for other driver's and themselves. The anger u feel in this job is unlikely any other. FedEx driver's: STOP taking your stressful job out on other truck drivers! You're ALL on the same mission
Maybe driving was just stressful for u. I have no stress driving for FedEx ground . I’m never pressured . There is no incentive rushing . Nobody cares if u rush or drive normal . If u don’t like driving them you’re in the wrong business
The cammer edited the video to avoid showing that he was hogging the left lane. At 0:29 you can see in the side view mirror that it is safe for the cammer to change lanes back to the right lane. Look at the time stamp on the bottom right as it then skips from 14:37:50 to 14:38:40. The cammer was cruising in the left lane that entire time which is probably why the red truck followed by the FedEx truck then passed on the right. That doesn't excuse what the FedEx truck did, but it shows what the trucker did to evoke that response.
Thank you for this post. It was clear to me that the cam guy was the Ahole from the start. He stuck to the left lane like he owned it, making everyone go around him. The FedEx driver was mad and did cut him off a little to let him know this, but Mr cam stuck to his lane and speed like a stubborn mule, and gave the FedEx guy a horn job and probably the finger from the way he went off on the FedEx driver. The fact that Mr cam deleted the police conversation with 911 and the video at the truck stop, tells me Mr cam got increasingly belligerent, denied any wrong doing, and told by the police to get lost.
Well if that is true, all he did was drive on a road lane. What the others did was stupid and dangerous. What he did was maybe careless or stupid , but at least he didnt almost kill anyone, he was just driving on the road. What the other driver did could ve easily cost the life of like 10+ people if a crash happened on the highway. Even if you see someone hogging the left lane, just fucking drive, maybe honk or get his plate number or get him on your dashcam, but dont go up and try to kill him and you and everyone nearby, THAT is just fucking stupid. Be the bigger person and let it go, but by acting this way you become the dumbest of the bunch. Like sure a pedestrian crossing on a red light is dumb, but running after him to fucking punch him is completely worse and makes the person crossing on the red light seem right in the end
I'm a commercial truck driver and those convex mirrors doesn't help you judge if your far enough past them to make a safe lane change! Only to help eliminate blind spots. I always use my true California mirror for distance. Maybe the driver with the dash cam was traveling in the left lane? That doesn't give anyone the right to tail gate, cut you off and in this case with Fed Ex, keep repeating until something happens! Some drivers shouldn't carry a CDL!!!
Yup, at 0:28 he cuts out a whole minute in which he was strolling along in the passing lane when he probably had plenty of opportunity to get back over to the right.
I can't believe how much aggressive rubbish I had to read till finally finding someone else who noticed the filmer's poor lane discipline. He had ample time to return to the right lane after first passing the red truck (see in wing mirror). He was driving provocatively on a couple of occasions in my opinion. And please, the volume of the bad language bleeps nearly burst my eardrums through headphones, totally unnecessary. Rubbish vid.
This happened to me once in my subaru. I was in the right lane going 65 in a 65 then a trucker comes up behind, clips my bike on the back left side, then proceeds to start merging back into my lane just after his cab passes me, effectively running me off the roadway. I called the police and they smugly said that there was nothing they could do unless I wanted to face him in court for months. I was pretty worked up to say the least 🙂
You would think they would have a great deal of understanding for one another. To see another truck driver be so reckless and disregard the safety of other truckers... As well as everyone else is just disgusting.
@@blixxy1320 I guess you didn't get the part where I said if you drive a 65 Mph truck then stay out of the left lane......left lane is for outlaws and not governed mega carrier steering wheel holders. You cant act like this in a truck. They're both fools.
People like this even if he was having a bad day , don't do this . He could've killed you and maybe someone else going in the other direction and himself. And he calls himself a professional driver. What ever happened that started this he should have pulled over and calmed down and then on about his day. Today he'll he might have pulled out a gun and shot at you or your tires as he went by.
What are you talking about? I drive a lot on the highway and it's not semis driving like Douche bags. It's the dummies tailgating in the passing lane who all slam on their brakes at the same time and barely avoid causing accidents that are the problem. It's rare that 2 semis hold anybody up
Yes because truckers should be more responsible than anyone else and they drive like they own everything. Come across in to opposite traffic to make a turn even when there is additional wide shoulders added so trucks with trailers have more than enough room to turn without doing that. They take forever to pass another truck or just block the road for 20 miles going back and forth. Speed and tailgate vehicles in slippery weather knowing they have more weight and need longer to stop if something should happen. Personally i think most haulers should have their liscense taken and have to pay for 6 week schooling again if they cant obey additional safety rules. You are not driving a car!
@@hwystar_4584 So... I take it you don't drive a truck. I have been a professional driver for 36 years. Truck drivers go through so much training and testing before they get behind the wheel. Drivers are set on a high standard. If driver's get into an accident ither there fault or not have to take a piss test and the dot looks at there daily logs to see if they are incomplince. Drivers have to take corners wide cause we are 75 feet long maybe longer. When you see a truck making a corner maybe you should give him room to turn. Trucks weight in a anywhere from 25000 lbs to 105500 lbs. So yea we are slow . Yes there are some inconsiderate driver's but not all are bad. Remember that EVERYTHING you get from the store or gas for your over priced SUV a truck was responsible for making sure you have what you need. I'd say quite your bitching about trucks and give them room an time and they will get out of your way
@@hwystar_4584 and if you watch your so called professional car driver's most of them can't drive. 75 percent of accidents between a car and a big truck is the car driver's fault
@@hwystar_4584... I love the way automobile drivers say, "truck drivers think they own the road.", when in reality, there are more automobile drivers "bullying" trucks than the other way around. ALL of the cars accelerate as fast as they can the moment a truck's turn signal comes on... no matter how far back they are. Car drivers bully trucks, because they know how much we would prefer NOT to be in a collision. It's a risky game they play.
Police "can't do anything because they didn't see it themselves?" That's a new one. Since when do police not enforce laws because they didn't personally witness the crime? You've got the dashcam video. That's evidence. Examining the evidence and acting accordingly is the very basic function of their job.
As unpopular it might sound on the west side of the Atlantic, for this particular video I think the driver, who is most at fault is the one filming - clearly the red truck allows him to pass him, but then he stays for miles in the left lane, when the right lane is completely clear. I feel symphaty for the FedEx driver, and blame the driver filming. Not only he is blocking the whole highway, but he even dares to call the police. Being from Europe, having lived and driven in the US for many years, I can say for sure that the lane discipline (the lack of it) is one of the most dangerous factors on US highways (evidenced by the filming driver).
I too thought the guy filming was the problem in the beginning because he should have moved over into the right lane as the law states to allow faster traffic move on in the left lane. The FedEx guy was wrong with his road rage.
Put your right blinker on slow down to 55,get in the right lane and when they are both well over the horizon forget about them and go on with your day.
I'm the slowest on the road and my bosses hate it. They're the ones that gave me a governed truck that can't keep traffic happy, so I just mope along in the slow lane
I've seen the reason for this anger many times in my 63 year driving career. Especially on I-40 west of Memphis, Tn. which is loaded with trucks. Because of governors most trucks can't pass like they used to but they try anyway and wind up blocking the passing lane for miles. You think that doesn't lead to frustration? I have been caught up in that MANY times and the urge to kill is overwhelming. I finally looked and found an alternate route just so I wouldn't have to put up with thoughtless, uncaring truck drivers anymore. I suspect this idiot filming the interaction did the same thing to the FedEx driver. The myth that truck drivers are the best drivers is and always has been, PURE BS.
I've been a truck 🚚 driver my father was a driver one of the best back when u had to change gears with both hands with ur arm through the wheel and my brother's a dam good driver too dad taught us both and although dangerous what he did with doubles his ass shouldn't have been in the left lane the passing lane getting past on the right I'm assuming that was flat land so I'm assuming he's governed at 65 and should stay in the slow 🐌 lane except for emergencies and emergency pass, because that's what the FedEx driver saw 👀 was a truck blocking 🚫 the fast lane while getting past on the right and able to be past by a truck pulling doubles. When he pulled up along side he should've slowed down and got over period instead of following and calling state Boys like some woke 🚚 driver nonsense we handle ourselves out there.
Did you leave out the part where you are hogging the passing Lane for 10 MI? Also it is very unsafe for other vehicles for you 2 be on the shoulder of an exit ramp.

@@mindbulletz2803 It is u that doesn't know how to drive. The white truck was passing a slower red truck. The red truck shoulda let off it and let the white truck pass instead of speeding up and leaving him hanging out in the passing lane. This clip doesn't show how long the white truck was in the passing lane. It happens to me all the time. U come up on someone going slower than u, then u take the passing lane, as your fixing to pass them, they speed up. Cars and trucks alike do the same thing. My truck does 90 so I can stuff them behind me then slow back down to the cruise speed that I was going before they woke up. You don't have the facts so shut your beaters Karen.
Exactly. Say this thing results in an accident, even if the Fedex guy was a total douche and totally at fault (looks like he is) you have an obligation to do everything necessary to avoid an accident. Even if it means slowing down or even pulling over to put some distance between yourselves (and let tempers cool). Saying…”your honor, the guy was a total dick, and here’s my dash cam footage showing what a dick he is” isn’t a defense and doesn’t release you from your obligation to do everything necessary to avoid the accident. Maybe one day, these a#&holes will get their payback, but not today.

The best thing to do in cases like this is email the video to the safety department and tell them that in 1 week it will be on the news if no action is taken.
Plaster it all over social media... and then email THE LINKS to their safety department... and CC: state and local police for the area where it took place. That should cover it.
How do police issue tickets after crashes, they're not there when it happens? They have to investigate and gather evidence , but not in this case. Must be donut hour🥴🍩🍩🍩
It's not the police departments fault of the laws that get implemented by the politicians u elected. Traffic violations cannot be issued unless its witnessed by the police officer is 100% accurate. I thought everyone knew that. Take the video to the local judicial officer. Judicial officer can issue the citation. Police officer has to witness it. By taking the video to a police officer and say cite this man, the cammer basically went to Burger King to get a McGriddle. Traffic accidents are a completely different scenario and shouldn't even be considered as comparable to this. No property damage was done, insurance will no have to be involved.
@@steveriley1000 there's nothing that states drunk driving here. Submitting the video doesn't do anything. I had a Schneider truck hit me one day on st rt 42 in Ohio , he stopped in the road and proceeded to back up in to my van . Then he jumps out and ask med why I hit him. So he pulls off into a parking lot , I kept my vehicle where it was and advised he do the same , so I took pics of his truck the roadway . FedEx Ground drivers are not company drivers. They are contractors or are hired by the contractors. I work for FedEx Freight. We are company drivers. If someone called in a complaint with or without video, we would definitely hear about it from safety.
My experience with Fedex drivers is they are the ones doing 70+mph through work zones, switching lanes on crowded highways with no signal etc.... very unprofessional, dangerous drivers and i know it's the culture there bc i was a ground delivery guy for years and every contractor expects 2 workers of output from every 1 worker
Typical. I worked at a copper mine as a crusher mechanic. Then they put me as a belt rider ( ore belt repair) which included crusher mechanics and maintenance. They then fired 5 laborers and gave those jobs to me as well. The only justice I got once I was laid off was they had to hire 6 laborers, a crusher mechanic and a belt rider (belt repair) to replace me. That was sweet. They since have gone out of business. When companies start pushing like that usually they aren't long for this world. It's time to find a better job, which I did!
All corporate-owned trucks should have cams and mics installed in hidden locations both inside and outside and the driver not told about it to catch shit like this, then there's undeniable evidence against a driver who drives/acts dangerously on the road and/or trashes the cabin just because "they can". Though the FedEx driver that's driving recklessly in this vid is bound to come across someone who won't hesitate to run them down and potentially send them to an early grave and driving off like nothing happened.
Only a few of Fedex departments are actual fedex drivers the rest are contractors. Also now with UPS reducing their LTL line they're now the biggest carrier out there. So by chance alone that makes sense if there are more Fedex trucks on the road. Most times its the ground guys who give FEDEX a bad name.
How come you don't goes to the right lane when passing the red truck 🤔? What happened before that? The FedEx must have it own dashcam from it own different point of views.
He was passing at 65.6 a truck that was doing 65. So it toke this guy around 12 miles to pass, there is a reason why he don't show all video. Granted FedEx should never done that but it's for asholes like this we all have bad reputation. Trying to pass 65 doing 65.6 or 7 for 13 miles it's not fun getting stuck behind those asholes
You know what would prevent this from happening? Use the left lane as a passing lane instead of cruising in it blocking traffic. I don't agree with what FedEx did but still. Get out of the way. What a waste of a 911 call. Then you follow him. Move on with your life
I absolutely agree!!! The driver that made this video is just as much at fault as anyone. GET OUT OF THE LEFT LANE !!!! When you block the fast lane you cause drivers to have to swerve into other lanes to get around you. People that block the fast lane are IDIOTS!!!!!

Totally agree. This bloke was causing the roadrage. Too slow, blocking the lane. Red truck had enough, so did the FedEx guy. He should of just stayed in the convoy, safer for all and roadrage could have been avoided. He couldn't maintain a faster speed anyway. This guy pulled out to pass the red truck, the red truck sped up and this guy got trapped in the left lane, couldn't get back because no one would let him because they're all passing on the right.
I just want to know why truck drivers think it's okay to block the left lane trying to pass another truck and it takes 10 miles to finally make a pass? Meanwhile you've held up 20 miles of traffic! And if they think you're not going to let them out to make said 10 mile long pass, they just dart out in front of you!
Well if you'd ever been a truck driver with a speed limited truck stuck behind another truck or passenger car doing 5 under the limit for an hour, then finally pulled into the passing Lane only to have that driver then SPEED UP when you get alongside and match your speed you'd understand it's usually not the truck who is now in the passing Lane who is causing the situation. It drives truckers insane to have to deal with this over and over all day long with pissed off drivers behind you honking and giving you the finger ( it's not me, it's the a**hole in the right lane that wants to go slow until I attempt to pass that suddenly found his gas pedal, trapping me side by side in the passing Lane!). I've had situations where a car would be slowing me down to 5 under the limit for HOURS doing this, then when you finally do get past them, two minutes later they fly past you at 15 over the limit and pull in front of you just to slow down to 5 under again to start the process all over again.... Another common situation is approaching a mountain incline with someone in front of you dropping down to ten under for no reason nearing the bottom of the hill. When you've got a full load the approach speed makes all the difference so getting around them to maintain speed is a big deal. If you don't it's going to result in having to downshift and crawl up the mountain at 20 mph with your flashers on instead of climbing it at the speed limit. 9 times out of ten cars in the left lane see you want to get over and punch their gas pedal to prevent it having no clue that THEY are the ones causing the tractor trailers to go so slow. People are just clueless

Curious why if you are speed limited, that you are on left lane anyway. Just stay in right. Also if another driver is being an ass why do you not back off and let him go? Be the big boy. If I was Police I would suggest you drive better also.

Drove for years OTR. Happened more times than I care to remember. Depends what state what town you're in. The ones you need to call is the highway patrol. They're ready to pounce on commercial truck drivers. City police and Sheriff's departments really could care less. What is nice is having the dashcam documenting tractor numbers, time, and date. One copy sent to their employer, the other to their insurance company. You may never hear of it, but they're likely out of a job. All companies hurt for drivers but they also can't be hurt by drivers. Just as irritating is dumb asses in cars who will cut you off just to make that turn thinking you can stop on a dime. And they fully feel if you hit them they get a payoff. Those days are mostly over since the day of the dashcam. If only they realized every single thing they have in their life doesn't have just one truck involved but literally dozens from start to finish from the raw materials produced that product to the retail store. Many times it's many big rigs to produce one part and there could be hundreds of parts. That's why everything is shutting down now by Design but that's another story.
I was an insurance adjuster following a car on a four lane hwy, trucker in the left lane. The car and I were in the right lane. Saw the car try to pull in front of the truck when even with the truckers front bumper. Of course accident happened. I went on to work and called the police for that town.. the police thanked me several times because the car tried to claim that the trucker went over the line. I handled a lot of truck/auto accidents.
Truckers have the highest incidence of HEART DISEASE/HEART ATTACKS , very unhealthy lifestyle , bad diet , high blood pressure, very high stress , high incidence of divorces , but they are not paid enough .
@Mike P Scott nothing wrong with a convoy if they're all doing the speed limit. It's just a safe way to travel. When they try to play cowboys is when some idiot thinks he's better off going 2mph faster. If he wants to break off and go 4mph+ faster then that's fine. Don't hang in the over taking lane waiting for your truck to magically go faster when it can't! - which is the case for the driver in this video. Convoys are good d for fuel consumption too. Everyone takes their turn up front on long runs. This is smart Truck driving. 26 cents a mile is crazy good consumption. Surely that's recorded in a convoy slipstream. Is that a fully loaded train?
You were asking for trouble and you got it... fedex pulled over to see if you had a problem and you backed off... what was the point of pulling over behind him on the exit?
the only reason this situation happens is because one of the drivers can't lift his or her big fat foot off the gas pedal, they have to get 1 more MPH on the other truck
@@dons8122 Well first you need to improve your writing skills, second I drove a semi, accident free and no property damage for 20 years. And third, my truck averaged 74 mph and I was always the better person and backed off when the fat footed driver had to get 1 or 2 more mph than me.
@@ernestpassaro9663 not really a true pissing contest. It's more like a contest to see who can dribble more piss down their own leg. I get behind so many trucks that can't even make 65 mph in the left lane when the limit is 75 mph. And they edge up and back for miles trying to pass one another.
It seems to me like you’ve pissed him off cause you were driving slow on the fast lane..duh! Those FedEx drivers aren’t slow down for anyone cause they have to get to their destination or don’t wanna missed their cargo flights
That's bullshit. Fed Ex holds up traffic every day. Are you one of those who hold me up? One would think that their light loads wouldn't slow them down much.
@chris skidmore get over it? It happens to me 3 or 4 times a day. No, not anymore. I don't move out of my lane anymore and I don't back off the throttle. We all have schedules and nobody is more important than anyone else.
I'm not sticking up for the FedEx driver one bit. He was driving like a total idiot. The truck with the dash cam had no right being in the passing lane. He didn't have enough motor to get pass the red rig..
Truckers with faster trucks hate being passed they would risk everything to keep you from passing them, they try to save fuel but when I try to pass them they speed up I deal with these idiots almost everyday a truckers ego is savage
No. The driver is in the wrong. Around 30 seconds in he cuts 60-ish seconds of him holding the left lane at low speeds. He got into the left lane to pass, but then proceeded to drive slower than the rest of the traffic causing the left lane FedEx driver to have to go around. Around 1:25 you can see the FedEx driver motion with his hand asking the driver in this recording to slow down so he can merge, as the FedEx driver is travelling at higher velocity and wants to take the fast lane. Instead of slowing down slightly, merging to the right, waiting a few seconds for the FedEx driver to merge etc., he decides to hold his velocity knowing damn well that the FedEx driver is about to get over so he can piss and moan about how FedEx should hold their lane. He antagonized the entire event. The FedEx driver was probably just wondering why the guy behind him was being such a moron over a simple lane merge. All he had to do was let off the gas for a few seconds or tap the brakes and let FedEx merge - he clearly hand signaled and the polite thing to do would be let him merge. The driver in this video was in no rush anyway, so why take the fast lane?
@@jonny6702 it doesn’t really matter that he cut out that minute. You can see that the fed ex guy was coming up behind the red truck at a high rate. You cannot 1) slow down in the passing lane to pass from behind into the right lane nor 2) merge back when a faster moving vehicle is clearly at risk of impacting you from behind if you did so. This explains why he’s in the left lane so long. He needs that Fed Ex driver to pass him first so he can move back to the right and he doesn’t want to slow down in the left lane since that could be dangerous depending on the circumstances. The Fed Ex driver should have continued at the same rate of speed or slowed down to allow the guy to merge back right and then overtake him. This is all the fault of the red truck because that driver wasn’t paying attention or something and then decides to accelerate when being overtaken. This nonsense happens all the time. Stupid drivers and their egos. Doesn’t matter what they’re driving.
This driver is quite dangerous and needs help for sure. He/she is in a mental place that could easily cost the lives of others as well as do massive vehicular damage. I'm shocked that law enforcement wouldn't use your dash cam video as clear-cut proof of the incident. Isn't that the whole reason for having dash cams??? Be safe out there, God bless!!!
I guess you pulling out in front of cars on the exit ramp didn't get reported but maybe fedex was trying to tell you to stop trying to pass when you know you don't have the power to even do the speed limit...
Not a truck driver myself, but I've always felt like while driving a truck as a career, you have an obligation to drive safely. Those trucks are certainly dangerous when they get in wrecks and you also have the obligation of getting your freight to it's destination safely and in a timely manner.
I've been driving for a long time I've driven in the worst snow storms ever in flag staff and I'm saying six foot driffs and 92%of all trucks in those diffs where them
Truck drivers have stricter requirements as well, like one moving violation and you can have your license revoked. DUI is a career ender for a truck driver or should be, for obvious reasons.
Cars don’t seem to care how “dangerous” a truck is . They cut u off . Slam on brakes trying to exit . Speed up when u turn a blinker on and get mad cause you weren’t asking for permission to come over .
I almost got mowed over on the freeway by a FedEx box truck on my motorcycle then they proceeded to slam on the brakes just to make an exit.. literally almost killed me just to move up one spot. It was some cracked out lookin lady
This (the red truck) is what I encounter with almost every other driver on the road these days. The actions of the FedEx driver are just all too common as well. We seem to be devolving into a state of utter "lawlessness" on our roads.
Drivers like the one in the red truck piss me off to no end. Pick a speed and stick with it. He should’ve known the camera truck was trying to pass him so just let him. Don’t just speed up at the last second and make his action be for nothing.
I once enlisted an out of work CDL driver next door neighbor when COVID just started, to drive me to a very far city to visit my only son since I'm constraint to fly due to the pandemic. He is my son's age, we pre-agreed on the fee - my son's very nice well maintained Honda Accord with no blemish or dents, well kept record of maintenance. The reason of my son's generosity was for him to keep an eye on me and both came from the military. My trust in his driving abilities was unwarranted. It was a harrowing 12 hours which I kept secret from my son. He promptly wrecked the Honda in a few mos. He also wrecked his next vehicle. Worked on and off as truck driver even after (how he managed to do that is beyond me). Now his current vehicle (third from our Honda) also a Honda is totalled sitting in his carport. This truck driver wrecked 3 cars in a span of 2 yrs since the pandemic . His drivers license should be cancelled as well as his CDL. I used to be not scared of truckers but now I certainly do. WTH.
The driver recording this was going 65 in the left lane, which is the posted Speed Limit because the governor on his truck would not go any faster. He should not be in the left lane. He should be in the right lane. The left lane is a passing lane. All he did was cause a clusterfuck behind him and made other drivers pass him on the right, which is more dangerous than going 5*10 miles over the limit. This poster caused the entire situation because he is one of the many jerkoffs that hog the left lane. The FedEx Driver shouldn't have played cat and mouse like that on the road like that, but this poster was happy to play along also. I would get them both off the road
In the beginning, this driver was passing red truck. The Red truck driver being passed then accelerated, blocking the driver in left lane from passing, which is illegal in most states I know, because of the very situation this caused, the so called clusterfuckk you mentioned. FedEX only made matters worse by passing on right further preventing this driver from properly passing. 2 dumb asses in right lane who felt entitled caused this situation.
If you pass somebody, you have to either speed up or get out of the fast lane. This happens because you want to hold the fast lane without going faster.
You could have saved yourself a bunch of time and stress by just pulling off and checking your load and letting that idiot get down the road. It's not worth it.
Even today the Fed ex drivers are highly aggressive. I've seen them normally go 70 in the left lane in a 55. They are basically kids driving these rigs. Be careful out there. Fed ex drivers are highly aggressive
Seems like you were holding up the passing lane of the two lane hwy. There was another semi that overtook you earlier on your right side One ought to be always on the right lane unless, ONLY when over overtaking. It would be to my discredit if I held up the Left a.k.a overtaking lane and forcing faster moving vehicles to overtake on my right side. Yes, even at speed limits. Cannot hold up the left/overtaking lane, ever!
Wow, Didnt you watch video? He WAS safely passing but the red truck decided to speed up and not let him pass (which is illegal and unsafe). Then the following fedex started raging.
Let me guess... The fact that you have parked yourself in the left... The lane reserved for passing only is irrelevant! Some advice... If you want to drive slower... Drive in the right lane! Maybe you will not piss people off!
He was in the process of passing the red truck, which then decided to pass him on the right (isn't that a no-no) and then the fedex truck passed, again on the right, nearly clipping his right front ...... He hadn't had a chance to pull over before the ass driving the red truck decided to play chicken with him. And, regardless of where he was driving, the fedex driver was a menace on the road.
I drove double pup trailers for Schneider. They had contracts with YRC. I was always delayed at every YRC yard I went to and I just slowed down a lot to conserve fuel and limit the craziness that happens at 65 MPH with all these trucks governed at 65 except CR england at 63 and carrol Fulmer at 62. It raised my fuel bonus and did not affect how long it took to get my new set of boxes for the next leg. I was also a team truck and that is enough stress without all the other driving nonsense a commercial driver has to deal with.
i watched the video twice and, i would love to see the rest of the video BEFORE the start. road rage does`nt start by itself, as in many other things, something triggers it and i`m sorry but i don`t buy that thing about "INNOCENT" truck driver that easy. you can be innocent but then again, maybe not. intentionally or un-intentionally we do things that in our eyes are ok but they are not for other people. based on newton`s law " every action has a reaction" , something happened that pissed off not one but TWO truck drivers, first, the red truck AND ,the fedex truck. also, not because you are the only one that got the whole incident on tape, that makes you innocent. maybe, i said, MAYBE, you were driving too slow for a long period of time on the left (fast/passing) lane. even when you at the speed limit that does`nt give you the right to drive for long periods of time on a lane that is designed ONLY for passing. again, i`m just guessing that`s why i would love to see the rest of the video.
just because you have a dash cam it doesn't mean you should enforce traffic laws, you're not a police officer. You can contact the police and the FedEx drivers employer but don't follow him.
@@ernestpassaro9663 He wasn't driving a slow truck in the left lane,he was going the speed limit like everybody should and not speed,so he's not stupid, just the FedEx driver is.

This is why when I retired I gave up my CDL A. Professional drivers are sure lacking and only going to get worse with driver shortage. Always run a dash cam to protect your license and be safe.
@Indians Auto Why, because it's not easy to let go of something you made your living with. I do know many retirees that keep their CDL
@Indians Auto dont inject yourself into something you know nothing about.
@Indians Auto You can still use it for small stuff, there’s many companies that will pay retired CDL holders to drive Mack trucks and other larger vehicles you need a special license to drive from point A to point B. It’s a good way to make money after retiring.

This happened to me once in my subaru.

Yeah it drives me nuts. They need to stay in their lane.
The road doesn't belong to you karens. He was in the lane so long because the red truck sped up when he tried to pass him. You karens with your 30 min commute need to relax. We are on the road for 11 hrs a day and working up to 14 so go get a tissue u cry babies.
@@bretaschleman8289 you spend that much time on the road and still can’t figure out how to drive.. that’s the issue Karen.
Blame the red truck.
There's a lack of courtesies on both drivers part. Two wrongs didn't make a right in this scenario.
Yep…I see two aholes. FedEx driver worse but the recording driver was making a big deal out of it too and continuing to play in to the drama.
The red Volvo was the other one
Curious why you cut the roughly 50 seconds of footage at 0:33 where you presumably remain in the left lane after you passed the truck.
Yep. Cammer does not know how to drive and has the audacity to honk when he is in the wrong which creates the road rage from the FedEx driver.
Good catch!

@@brickson98m who's stupid? How long did he spend in the left lane? Notice the cars shoot past when they get a chance? He was blocking traffic. The FedEx guy waited a good while to speed up.
I don't want a truck limited to 65 mph trying to pass other trucks.
The best thing to do in cases like this is email the video to the safety department and tell them that in 1 week it will be on the news if no action is taken.
Plaster it all over social media... and then email THE LINKS to their safety department... and CC: state and local police for the area where it took place.
That should cover it.
The media covering this story in current times.. *"Tonight at 5, a trucker with Covid is hospitalized, as numbers continue to skyrocket.."* 😂
How do police issue tickets after crashes, they're not there when it happens? They have to investigate and gather evidence , but not in this case. Must be donut hour🥴🍩🍩🍩
Right? What could be more clear than this video evidence? They just don’t want to take the time to look into it.
@@Stryker11able no but drunk driving and road rage should always be followed up with a stop
@@steveriley1000 there's nothing that states drunk driving here. Submitting the video doesn't do anything. When I started construction, I was a flagger. Reported a vehicle for constantly running my sign. @@Stryker11able I realize there was nothing that says it was drunk driving, what I mean is that that’s one of the calls they will try to do something about , if you report it as a drunk driver Swerving and cutting off others . But video should be all that is needed if it’s geo time stamped as evidence that is . But I get it ! Long story short had it bot been for video and pics I was getting charged white hitting him. My pics showed his trailer over my skid marks where I had my brakes on and he pushed me 20’ backwards , the video from a building showed him backing up on the state rt 42 . He claimed he never backed up ! He got cited for the accident! So you would think if it’s good enough for investing it should be good enough for police to get a road rage driver off the road even if for a timeout anf to know you can’t just get away with wreckless driving .

I completely agree, blew my mind watching them go 70mph in a snow storm with limited visibility…
If you can't run with the big dawgs stay the fuck on the porch!
Yep, and they are a danger to the highways!
Funny I always seen them them upside down in median
All corporate-owned trucks should have cams and mics installed in hidden locations both inside and outside and the driver not told about it to catch shit like this, then there's undeniable evidence against a driver who drives/acts dangerously on the road and/or trashes the cabin just because "they can". Though the FedEx driver that's driving recklessly in this vid is bound to come across someone who won't hesitate to run them down and potentially send them to an early grave and driving off like nothing happened.
I'm not a truck driver, but I've had more trouble with FedEx drivers in my car than any other, by far. Yeah, this guy shouldn't have a CDL.

WHY IS EVERYONE ABLE TO PASS YOU ON THE RIGHT? THAT IS THE QUESTION.
Would not have happened if you were in the proper lane not making trucks pass you on the right ! Your the problem.
Maybe that FedEx driver was a Swift driver in a previous life. 😂
Nah if he was a Swift driver he would have rolled the tractor trailer on a perfectly straight road.
I guess you pulling out in front of cars on the exit ramp didn't get reported but maybe fedex was trying to tell you to stop trying to pass when you know you don't have the power to even do the speed limit...
For a FedEx changing lanes I'd say he missed you by a mile.
He probably worked at Swift and now promoted to biggest a-hole carrier there is.
@@denziltraylor3510 what does those diffs where them mean??
Cars don’t seem to care how “dangerous” a truck is . They cut u off . Slam on brakes trying to exit . Speed up when u turn a blinker on and get mad cause you weren’t asking for permission to come over .
I almost got mowed over on the freeway by a FedEx box truck on my motorcycle then they proceeded to slam on the brakes just to make an exit.. literally almost killed me just to move up one spot. It was some cracked out lookin lady
Fed Ex drivers are crazy. Green is the worst (green is for contract drivers, red for employees).
Left Lane Bandits are so annoying .. stay in the right lane and stay out of faster traffics way !
I see crazy driving everyday now.
The driver recording this was passing a slower truck. The slower truck then turned jackass and sped up, and caused this.
I think you the one who was holding left lane. When you pass red truck move over.
Hell yeah it should be revoked. No one with that kind of road rage should have a license, much less a CDL
Seems like you were holding up the passing lane of the two lane hwy.
There was another semi that overtook you earlier on your right side
One ought to be always on the right lane unless, ONLY when over overtaking.
He said in the video, he passed the red truck and was going to get over, and before he could the red truck sped up
Did you not watch the video?
Why were you hogging the passing lane, forcing two trucks to pass you on the inside?
Left lane drivers think they own the road dip sh#%ts
If you can only go 65 get the F out of the left lane.
Straight up
@@WaylonAndST.MathyusDad35 Watching on the You Tube channel for the blind? You evidently can't listen, either. He was passing a slower truck.
@@mrpoizun lol what the heck are you talking about? What does that have to do with only being able to go 65? Plus he was the one getting passed smh.
Let me guess... The fact that you have parked yourself in the left... The lane reserved for passing only is irrelevant! Some advice... If you want to drive slower... Drive in the right lane! Maybe you will not piss people off!
EXACTLY!!!
I agree that two wrongs do not make a right! But him in the left started the problem.
News flash for the trucker: Get your sorry a.. out of the passing lane. The passing lane isn’t for cruising.
this is why my fedex package is stuck 15 min away for like almost a week
I like seeing the trees It so calming.
The dude drive slows should be inner lane from the very first place , he pissed up Feddex driver
Just to let you know that was an outside contractor working for FedEx. Was not a FedEx driver.
i see multiple clowns in this video, can you find them?
I see 3.
At least the truck with dash cam
@@DanielGarcia-yx2mk he didn’t do anything.
The red truck is a real dick.
just because you have a dash cam it doesn't mean you should enforce traffic laws, you're not a police officer. You can contact the police and the FedEx drivers employer but don't follow him.
Why on a two lane highway is he driving consistently in the left passing lane?
you didn't watch the video did you.
They're on I-30 which is a 4 lane highway
Yeah he was stupid for driving a slow truck in the passing lane but the actions of FedEx was totally inexcusable !
@@ernestpassaro9663 He wasn't driving a slow truck in the left lane,he was going the speed limit like everybody should and not speed,so he's not stupid, just the FedEx driver is.
@@ericcutrer1467 yes I see
The fed ex driver is looking for a job at SWIFT TRANSPORT
You should see these insane idiots flying through our subdivisions here in Jacksonville Fl, I try and avoid having FedX deliver anything to me.
Same in our hood here in Canada

Well, they don't call them Fed Wrecks for nothing.
I used to have a lot of respect for tractor trailers but now I disrespect them cause they’re reckless
