- The World Health Organisation (WHO) has warned that global measles cases have almost doubled in a year in some countries, including the UK.
In the UK there were 86 confirmed cases last week, according to the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA).
Three-month-old Ezra Barratt contracted measles last Christmas and spent the New Year in hospital. His parents have issued a warning to others to get their children immunised.

There's a huge difference between vaccines that went through trial compared to mRNA! You should do your research.
This current anti vax phad is absolutely appalling and leading to children contracting Victorian era viral diseases. I think parents should get done for child cruelty in these instances. I'm grateful my mum ensured I didn't get measels, rubella, meningitis and later hpv - that's something I will be paying forward when I start a family, vaccines all the way 🙌🏼💜
Agreed, and be charged for the huge cost of hospital care required to treat these children. Idiotic, however I do think it’s good they faced the camera to raise awareness whilst facing criticism
Absolutely, I fully agree. The parents featured are very commendable and it's much appreciated they're using their traumatic experience to now advocate for getting vaccines.

It should also be stressed that PREGNANT women cannot come into contact with measles! Absolutely hate those irresponsible people walking in a public like "I got it" and I don't care about the rest!

It is illegal to force migrants to vaccinate their children.
I think the problem lies with British people 'doing their own research' rather than migrants.

If Measles is handled correctly, a normally healthy kid gets over it quickly and has lifelong immunity.
