at the 1:52 mark, this is the Ala Wai Boat Harbor... where in 1963 (a few days after the President Kennedy assassination just before Thanksgiving), CBS had filmed the intro to the famous iconic comedy show where the Skipper and his first mate, Gilligan started off their 3 hour tour on the SS Minnow with their 5 passenger tourists including the multi-millionaire and his wife who had to bring along luggage with them just for this tour (lol). at the 2:12 mark, as all of you are walking to the Ilikai Hotel (which opened for business in the 1960s and was a favorite for the rich elite people to stay) is also where 'Steve McGarrett' of the original Hawaii -0 stands outside on one of the Ilikai Hotel's Penthouse lanai and turns to look at the camera in the beginning scene of each episode. Elvis Presley helped assist to raise $$ with his concert to build the Pearl Harbor Memorial in the early 1960s. At the 7:21 mark, you shot the front of the Moana Surfrider Hotel (the first hotel built in Hawaii back in 1900). The next hotel built was about 26 years later, the pink hotel called The Royal Hawaiian Hotel (located just to the right of the Moana "Surfrider).. Driver taking you guys through Kahala Ave (7:52 mark) where the most expensive single family homes are located on Oahu. At the 7:56 mark, hope the driver told you about the Koko Head Crater trail (over 1k steps up this former railroad track), which has become famous for both locals and tourists to hike...
