Honolulu is one of my favorite layovers, I haven't had it in what feels like forever 😫 next time you go to honolulu get an uber and go hiking at Manoa falls, it's not too far and beautiful!!

In the 80s, my father was a hypnotist in Honolulu. He had a large office in downtown. I remember that beautiful view from when I was a kid the moment you opened that hotel window. I travel there frequently but stay at the courtyard on the north shore to get away from people.

Hi Kacey! My name is Clarke and my wife Julie and I love to fly and travel! We were just in Hawaii back in mid September this year! We stopped in Honolulu for 2 days then onto Maui for a week with Michael W Smith and Friends! It was a week long Christian Retreat at the Grand Waiela and it was So Awesome! The hotel we stayed at was a Star 5 and they went above and beyond the call of duty! It was a trip of a lifetime! Yes my wife and I want to go back as we’ve got a friend that lives in Honolulu. While we were there for our quick two day stop we did a Pearl Harbor tour along with a city tour which was great! Next time your there be sure to go eat at Dukes Waikiki! The food is Awesome! Love watching your videos! 😊

I can tell you made the most of your layover Hawaii trip. Saw that purple sunset, watched fireworks, went to the beach, got some awesome sea food. Much better then your last layover in Hawaii couple videos back.

I cant believe this is your first time there. I thought it would be such a popular flight destination like las vegas. Enjoy the spam meals. I was skeptical at first of spam. However i went to a korean corner store there. They had a spam sushi with spam, bacon and avocado. It was amazing.

I used to stay at that hotel at least 3 times a year for at least 10 years. The staff is fantastic, but that view. OMG miss that. Enjoy it.

I remember Kacey's last trip to Hawaii. It did not look the least bit fun. Im glad this was a nice trip. I keep to myself, but if I were Josh there's no way I'd be able to go an entire week without face timing and hearing her voice.

Very odd. Been to Hawaii a bunch of times. HNL is like the Los Angeles of Hawaii. Really nothing to see. Usually people just connect to the Inter island….

In 1968 my first trip as a Pan Am "stewardess" was a two-night layover on Waikiki beach in a building that was part of the Royal Hawaiian and is now offices of the Sheraton Waikiki. I thought I was in heaven! I was based in LAX and flew to Hawaii twice a week.

Haha I just spend the last month living in an AirBnB in Waikiki. The fireworks thing was interesting, it happened randomly back in May almost like every other night? Then people started launching their own fireworks out from Regional Park near the Honolulu Zoo. Around June I heard Hilton Waikiki Village had brought the fireworks back full time, every Friday? Idk I still didn't see them going off sometimes. Not sure whats going on there, but at least you got to see them on your layover!

I went to Honolulu with my parents when I was younger. I didn't want to leave. Our hotel was on the beach and it was high enough up we could sleep with the balcony doors open and go to sleep hearing the ocean waves.

Hi Kacey.....Hawaii definitely would be wonderful with someone else along. We were there and did the Kodak Hula show and some shopping at International Market, all along the beach...or just enjoy the beach like you did. We didn't do the mountain walk...that would have been fun. Regardless, thanks for taking us along!

Glad you enjoyed Hawaii this time. If you have a chance during your next visit, please consider the downhill bike ride at Maui’s dormant volcano, Mt. Haleakala - beautiful views! Helicopter tour of Napali coast of Kauai is also breathtaking.

What! no lanai? Sadly Waikiki has a huge share of drug addicts the last time we were there. It is still a very beautiful place though. Next time go to the Pacific Surf Hotel. At the banyan bar try a mojito. Best mojito l have ever had.
Aloha, Kacey! Just discovered your channel. Don't know what happened on your past trips to Hawaii, but glad we have been redeemed. We have problems, like anywhere else, but there is no place I would rather call home.
When you visit Hono again, consider going to the Luau at the Hali Koa Hotel, on Waikiki with some of your crew. Have been to it twice...really well done and very enjoyable. Word was that "it's the best one on the island." It is open to people not staying at the hotel... but of course you have to get tickets...at the Hotel. Call ahead .
