Yummy food especially during rainy season . Masarap pag may kasamang pritong bangus or tilapia. Thank you for sharing a simple recipe about eggplant. 🥰🥰👏🏻👏🏻

Sa amin pre cooked ang talong pero grilled tapos saka pa lng himay himayin ng pahaba or half boiled lng ito tapos himay himayin ng pahaba then i adobo na.. so hindi cya oily.. yummy
@@rosariodecastro1842 Hello po. I normally don't give a specific measurement because I would not know the size and quantity of the eggplants you are cooking and for how many people. Also some people can't have too much soy sauce for health reasons. It would depend on the individual taste.
Hi, Ditty! Thank you for sharing your recipe! I used to have that dish when I was growing up and loved it. Although, I haven't had it in more than half a century (56 years to be exact) since I had moved out of the country. After watching your video, I'll definitely try making it. Just one comment on the ingredients, sometimes my mother will incorporate bagoong instead of patis. Thank you much again for presenting it calmly and at a good rate of speed.
@@dittysfil-amkitchengardenandmo, that is true especially if you used ACV, after it had simmered for a while, the vinegar reduces & becomes more sweet than sour.
thanks for sharing now i am graving 😊. on my version try adding tomatoes after cooking the garlic and blend until cooked then lastly will be the fried eggplant. if you have fish sauce ( alamang in pilipino ) use it to taste instead of salt. its delicious chow
Ok nmn vlog , ang prob lng na nakikita q pati pag gagayat isiningit pero time ata hinahabol, kmi kasi nag sẽ serch ng cooking tutorial ingredients agad ang una namin hinahanap pati process kya malimit nag sskip kami sa mga bagay na dina mahalag pero keep up the good work po
Thank you for inspiri me to try this eggplant recipe. I tried it and added brown sugar, used ACV instead of white vinegar. It turned out yummy and my family really loved it! You sounded great BTW. 🥰
To imdeniece! I think your suggestion/idea is excellent! I'll actually try it myself, incorporating green beans/sitaw to it! Though, I'll do that as a separate dish. Thanks for the idea.
Sarap naman niyan kakagutom tuloy😋🤤 Paborito ko yan Super liked and loved the video.❤ Your new buddy and subscriber here Watching here from Jeddah KSA sending support without skipping ads🙏💪
For the folks who are concerned with the oily part of the cooking (as I do also), I'd suggest to transfer the fried eggplant directly from the frying pan onto a paper towel and let the paper towel absorb some of the grease. Better yet, for some who may have health concerns with frying oil, I'd further suggest using extra virgin olive oil for frying. It's been noted that EVOO is a healthier alternative to corn oil, vegetable oil, lard, or canola oil.
I appreciate your comment on the video. I agree. I have been using EVOO on my cooking videos for about a year now. Yes, you are right. Paper towel does absorb the oil and eggplants have a tendency to absorb so much oil when fried and it is hard to get around it. I have learned a lot and willing to learn more. Thanks.
Looks so yummy but also so oily! Na absorbed ng talong lahat na oil during frying. So, kung gaano kadami ang oil na nilagay mo for frying iyon lahat ang nasipsip ng talong.
Thanks for the comment. Yes po, talong has a tendency to do that when fried. I agree and I should have let some of the oil drain and be absorbed in paper towel.
Thanks for sparing 6 minutes of your time watching the video and for being one of the 337,000 viewers of this video. I appreciate the constructive criticism. My channel title also includes the garden so I figured I would include the garden every once in a while since it is my channel after all. I did ramble on a bit on this one but I didn't "preamble".. lol
I will try this po. Di po ba naging masyadong maasim dahil sa maraming suka? Nahihirapan po kasi akong mag adjust pag toyo at suka na pinagsabay 😅 PS. Pareho po tayo, bisaya na nasa US. 🎉 Keep it up lang po. Let's embrace our language, we are still bless dahil we speak both bisaya and english and tagalog! 😊
Thank you. Depende ra pod sa imong timpla and ug unsa ka daghanon ang imong giluto. I adjust na lang pod. Pero ang suka, motam is na siya kung taod taod nga mag steam.

Never tried adobong talong. Looks delish so I will try this recipe but less vinegar might not even fry the talong to minimize the use of oil. 😊
Sa amin pre cooked ang talong pero grilled tapos saka pa lng himay himayin ng pahaba or half boiled lng ito tapos himay himayin ng pahaba then i adobo na.. so hindi cya oily.. yummy

Just in your menu I learn this talong dish.. It's yummy
😊
Ang Dami mong nilagay na vinegar..subrang Asim nang niluto mo for sure
Hindi naman po. Ang vinegar pag nakapagsimmer ng several minutes, tumatamis po. Yung acetic smell nya nawawala po.

I never thought to fry them first, I’ll try them this time but I’ll add a little ground pork since I need to use them up.
