I LOVE these kind of videos, they are my favorite. I have become so busy lately, and have been stressed because we are getting new floors in the kitchen, so it is nice to see quick/easy/healthy meal ideas. THANK YOU
My favourite quick meal is just some cooked sweet potatoes and regular potatoes, topped with chickpeas, tahini, salt and nutritional yeast. And some raw veggies as a side. Quick, simple and using ingredients I always have at home.
Thanks! I’m recovering from COVID and have little energy for shopping and cooking. I was feeling overwhelmed about making a menu. Your video inspired me. The sushi bowl and quinoa salad are perfect easy meals I can assemble or this week.
Fast vegan meals I do at home. Felaffel bowl. Store purchased ones, microwave rice, steamed broccoli and I mix hot sauce with Mayo n tomato sauce. (Ketchup) Chickpea AVO smash on toast Vegan fish fillets with microwave rice and steamed broccoli and lemon wedges Coyo probiotic yoghurt mixed with a lil maple, spread on toast with lil.maple topped off and hemp seeds
The last meal looked the most delish! The last time I tried Jackfruit, I had purchased something that was supported to be savory and it ended having a sweetness to it that threw the dish off, but this recipe seems like it would compliment the meal well!
oh i'll have to try these! my fav easy recipe is satay chickpea wraps - i mash some tinned chickpeas with a fork and stir the satay in, then put it on a wrap with whatever veggies i have on hand (but my favorite combo is spinach, mushroom, and bell pepper), then i put either nooch or vegan cheese in there too if i have them. then i put them in the toastie maker/sandwich press (or you could just use a pan) until they're crispy and golden - these literally take me like 5 minutes and they're so yum!
I like this idea because I can leave alot of non perishable foods in my office for when ever I forget my lunch. In that case it would be like non perishable back up lunch🥰
my fav 10 minutes (more like 5 minute though) meal is just couscous, tomato puree/pasta sauce and/or hummus, and veggies. so you just boil water, dump it on the couscous and then throw everything together and there's no need to use the stove which is perfect when you're hypersensitive and have a lot of food anxieties
My go to is putting a shit ton of kale in a bowl and topping with some tempeh/tofu stir fry I cooked earlier in the week or a can of Well Yes soup.. microwave that bish and you got a brand new dish! Great way to eat a lot of veggies for lunch without eating a huge salad
Quickest meal with all made store bought stuff is ground tofu in potato salad with hemp seed, soy bacon bits and nutrional yeast if I feel like it. 0 cooking Can be done with basically any salad find the one you prefer
Hey caitlin, I love this video and your channel! Do you have any tips for reducing produce food waste? Are there any meals you consider "dump recipes" where you can use those pesky produce items that you bought but forgot to eat? Currently, I have a sweet potato, brussel sprouts, red cabbage, and zucchini, and I'm not sure what to do with them other than eat them each by themselves. It seems like you approach each meal by concept using ingredients on hand or untraditional ingredients, so I'm sure you have some great ideas on this. Thanks for the video and recipes as always--you've given me so many great ideas!
Grace Sullivan A lot of places have closed their bulk bins and require you to use plastic bags for produce (and you can’t use your reusable bags) because of coronavirus
I have been a thrive market shopper since last July. And I am very happy with their pricing. Also includes nice samples, thrive cash when I do reviews generally 5- 15 bucks off my order. Overall its great to receive a box of healthy goodies. And lastly they give back to the community.
I had a membership for a year, and personally I wasn’t impressed. If you insist on buying organic or boutique foods then it might save you money, but my student budget couldn’t hang. Not worth the $60 for me.
I’m honestly a weirdo but when I’m really pressed for time or don’t feel like cooking, my crusty ass takes a can of green beans and adds garlic powder, salt, pepper and a scoop of hummus. 🙈
You must have missed the part where the fees they collect make it possible for them to give free and/or reduced memberships to low income families, students, teachers, veterans, and first responders.
I think the items are more expensive than the exact same products at Walmart and trader Joe's and even Amazon (if you have access to that). And everything comes in small plastic packages so I don't see the benefit. But to each their own.
vegan peace kind of late. I think they are implying that because she makes less money and lives pay check to pack check she could be one of the people who could get a reduced fee.
Hi my name is Marc I'm interested in learning new foods I think a vegan food that you made was pretty awesome is it be my first time trying it or even cooking it just trying to get away from red meat we're going to eat a lot of a lot of Fish & Chicken turkey but I want to kind of get out the meats. But I think I'll have to keep my fish I don't know is a given take I'm a first-time eating it veggie food so it will be very interesting on some of the recipes that you would have for me thank you looking forward to your response
Excellent video and recipes. I will possibly be confided to my home because some of things I do have been cancelled due to the virus spreading throughout the world.
your recipes are my favorite. I've realized I need to get some better ingredients. can you make a video on things to do with beans? I bought a shit ton when we went into lock down and now I just have soooo much lol
Next: vegan snack aka tempeh chips Very popular here in Indonesia, usualy we eat it while watching tv or hanging out with family or friends. If you cant find recipe in english, try "cara membuat keripik tempe" which mean "how to make tempeh chip" in english. You can also use online translation to translate from indonesian
@@liyanai151 LOL honestly it's probably because the bulk of their customer base is American. But I've thought it was slightly sell out-y of them especially since none of them disclose that they wouldn't actually be able to use the service if they weren't on PR
You talked about this pan in another video but I can't remember which one and wanted to check it out? What brand is it? I think it came with a spoon attached?
I wonder how the Corona virus will affect buying at places like Thrive market. If buying local is perhaps better for stress on supply chains. Where I live (NYC) they are encouraging people to limit deliveries.
Im from india and this is the first time im seeing jackfruit being sold in packets like dat lol So convenient tho...every time we have jackfruit on summer my mom spends 40 mins on cutting and preparing it for cooking...its so sticky and if u dont put oil in your hands while cutting it ur palm is gonna go black like its been oxidised
This is what I expect vegan food to be like on an average day. I am not vegan but I wanna be more inclusive for friends who are at dinners etc and also don't mind eating these meals too
why do you use all those plastic pouches of things when you could just get cans which are cheaper and recyclable ? no hate just asking do u have a reason
Thank you! I am working to transition to at least a mostly vegan diet, but some sites offer what seem to be really complex recipes that I just dont have time to make. This helps a lot. Im a little concerned that some of the ingredients seem highly processed.... but I guess thats the price you pay for speed? lol.

Sounds so good
@Emma Eddleman Will check it out! :)
Oh that sounds goooooood 🤤 I only have tahini with apricot jam, I would have never thought of adding it to savoury.
Smashed chickpeas, vegan mayo, buffalo sauce, onion, garlic powder
I love these ideas, will try it. I like to buy things in bulk to avoid these many plastic bags of food.
Yes! 👍
I agree, I hate when companies wrap everything in plastic, so frustrating!
Hey,Caitlin and Dillon...I'm not Vegan,but,I enjoy the healthy,meals you fix... Have a blessed week...Stay safe...🙏💓🤩🥰😘👍🍅🥬🥦🥒🍆🥯🥗🥤

I'd love seeing more 10 minute meals🤗

I love a good vegan sushi bowl. Its one of my go-to's during the warmer months.
fried tofu, peanut satay (literally so easy to make), brown rice noodles, and random veggies= delish and lots of protein
Who else liked before even watching this video? 🥰🍪
Guilty! ✋🏽

That sushi bowl looks so yummy and refreshing 😋!
I love me a good basic af salad! I just throw in any veggies, nuts and fruits that I have in a bowl! With Italian dressing 💚
It’s so nice to hear someone not talk about coronavirus 🙃😂

Can you do some videos with all non-perishable foods that we can stock up on?

Thanks, Caitlin, for the great recipes! I’m new to being a vegan and it’s great to have some quick recipes!
They all looks fantastic
A sandwhich using whole grain David's bread, peanut butter, sliced bananas, drizzled agave & sprinkled granola- then grilled/cooked over an oven.

It’s almost 11am and I am already hungry for lunch after watching this 🤓
Everything looks so yummy😋😍
I love these ideas and thrive is my favorite ❤️
I don’t like that you can’t check out thrive’s prices before signing up
I have been a thrive market shopper since last July. And I am very happy with their pricing. Also includes nice samples, thrive cash when I do reviews generally 5- 15 bucks off my order. Overall its great to receive a box of healthy goodies. And lastly they give back to the community.
You can go most things. You have to click a different link. Google Thrive Market and dig around the different links.

Omg sounds yum hun 😊🤗💓
Sounds delicious and like something i would do
Me: **waiting for it to come up ‘sponsored by thrive market’** 😂
Mmm 😋 those meals look delicious 😋
When you're on a tight budget and live paycheck to paycheck the fee isn't really possible. And in my opinion the prices aren't that much cheaper.
You must have missed the part where the fees they collect make it possible for them to give free and/or reduced memberships to low income families, students, teachers, veterans, and first responders.
@@50patrice That doesn't change the fact that people who live paycheck to paycheck can't afford it.

vegan peace kind of late. I think they are implying that because she makes less money and lives pay check to pack check she could be one of the people who could get a reduced fee.
I may have to try the salad with Chickpea's. You had me at Cashew Cheese. They all looked good though.🙂
cashew cheese is the best!

These look really yummy! I've never tried Jack Fruit but if it's a good substitute for BBQ meat then I'll have to give it a shot.
Great recipe. LOVE IT!!!!
Does Thrive Market ship to Canada ?
Thanks this is really helpful for a lazy person like me!
I loved your recipes! Can you please let me know where you got your non stick pan that you heated the tortilla in? Thanks
Excellent video and recipes. I will possibly be confided to my home because some of things I do have been cancelled due to the virus spreading throughout the world.
Refried beans are life😋
Now I'm craving a bbq jackfruit sandwich. I haven't had one in awhile and I have yet to try Upton's jackfruit 🤤😋
Those chips are the best!
I didn't know core and rind was on thrive market! They are a local STL company - cool to see them on YT lol
your recipes are my favorite. I've realized I need to get some better ingredients. can you make a video on things to do with beans? I bought a shit ton when we went into lock down and now I just have soooo much lol
I make bean burritos with refried beans, chopped onion, and taco bell sauce and it’s so good, I use the taco bell sauce in bottles from the store
Love this thank you !!!
That color looks so good on you! :)

Hey, great recipes. What brand pan do you use? Looks great
Why do you stress about carbon free delivery when you use so much plastic. You could use bulck rice and quinoa...
These are all awesome. Thank you!
This was great thanks
Great video
The only thing about thrive is they don’t deliver to Canada :(
Kitten weird bc I’ve seen Canadian UA-camrs get sponsored by thrive....

my favourite vegan meal is cauliflower thai curry
Looks like you're well stocked up for the pandemic 👍
I want thrive market so bad but they don't ship to Canada! ;(
I liked the burger meal best
Subscribed cause she is so beaitiful
my easy but yummy to "make" meal is falafel patties ( i buy them at a Mediterranean market), hummus dip and corn/black bean chips.
looks good but nothing we US outsiders can get i guess. The tumeric almond sauce seemed like heaven made
I'm not vegan but I want to try because I don't like to work/touch meat. Thank you so much for those recipes!
yummmm 😋

Simone Egipciaco in Italy we are in quarantine and they’re encouraging safe deliveries so people don’t go to supermarket and infect everyone lmao

It’s hard being vegan when you only like most of the vegetables fresh
