Both bikes are going to be MONSTERS! I see you're using a phone app in lieu of the eggrider, is it Bluetooth? Maybe you can tweak settings to iron out the 'snags'? Or just wait and configure the eggrider. I have an Emoto Bros tune on my controller and used their recommended settings as a base for mine. They have a good vid on setting up eggrider with controller. Another stellar video my friend, just wish I could do some trails with you! Cheers!
I'm actually looking forward to eventually getting a 72v for this then I can see what 15kw feels like wow can't wait for battery options to come out. Its blue tooth and location needed to make it work. Personally I hate using my phone but until egg rider it will do. I have been messing with setting with no change but then when I asked he said there is an update so done that and seems perfect now but still testing and bugs may arise as new. App is decent tho to make changes and save them so easily. Running 8kw but I've seen people at 10 for bursts. I'm enjoying the learning at modding now. Need to find a ebike owner to shred with local to me shame you are other side of pond mate Thank you

I see that they state regulations over lithium batteries stop them shipping to the UK. it’s a damn shame I can’t throw my surron on a plane! II’ll be back in blighty in a few weeks (although only for a few days), would be great to shred with you!
@@kahdmus can only get ebmx talaria batteries here at the moment. I asked some UK based suppliers and they both said just waiting for the female battery connection a d seems talaria told the manufacturer to only supply them, apparently. I'm in no rush but will keep studying them. Importing is ridiculous here so needs to be UK builder and ebmx got someone here.

Who else is a good watch for you worldwide I also watch so many channels, surronster is the main man but personally I prefer off road but I don't find many who consistently upload. Ebike mod shed is someone I recommend and great customer support 24/7 near enough. Supplies it all but no 72v batteries yet from him but its all in the pipeline.

I feel like they are becoming a little bit popular or desirable at the moment, maybe due to rising awareness or the rising petrol prices / cost of living in general, even when I go out on my mid drive lately I get people saying 'omg its an electric bike' or something like that. 😮💨 also did you ever consider geared hub drive ? I wonder how they would compare to my old direct drive which struggles on hills.
I can't remember what I noticed about geared now but it put me off I think it was plastic gearing teeth get worn easily. But other than that I never looked again. I keep looking at the 3000w kit with 60v 24.5 ah battery but might do that over winter. I'm looking for a new project or build just can't decide. I think people are seeing decent electric bikes now for OK money plus fuel prices have made them think about ev's and yes living costs is a headache mine electric bill has already nearly doubled per month recently. Not my bikes charging its just ridiculous the last 3 years have gone.
@@motomachinezuk8786 I heard the Sur Ron uses steel gears and thats why its so loud, mine has those nylon gear but I've never opened it, i'm scared to ruin it. 3000w motor will be really heavy ? thats what I got on the stealth bomber thing but they can go up to 11kw, I wouldn't put it on a mountain bike as its way too heavy, theres something im missing surely. The economy its not good, I wonder what will happen, probably crime will increase, even lawyers don't make a lot of money anymore from what I gather, and they have all been on strike because of it.
It makes a noise from the belt drive and runs a jackshaft. Not sure about the cogs, never heard that myself but could be another reason. My solicitor and accountants have gone up in price not down, crime will increase yes because alot will be in the shit we all need to tighten our belts soon. Alot worse to come I'm sure it's only just started.

If I had a bike like that no way I would take it of road where you were. You might not think this you could cause slight damage. For all it is for off the road. Plus on these dirt track mother nature could change that route and you could end up eating hospital food

You need some handguards for the tight brushy trails, makes a huge difference.

It needed a retune and all sorted now luckily nothing to worry about. I thought that first of all but seemed fine

you can push it up to 12k , i hadde at 550 amp thenn.ridinh it normaly i have it at 9500w and 650 amp
