8:40 - ish you said that most of our cells exist at a pH of around 4 when you pointed to the 7. The fact that this is the only error I have found in your lectures and I already knew what you were talking about is a firm acknowledgement of how awesome you are as an instructor. Thanks for all the help man. I bought premium so that I could watch these lectures day and night. I've already recommended you to two friends.
Thanks! Awesome to hear that my content has helped you! And thanks for pointing out the error; I added the error correction to my website! Thanks for supporting and subscribing to my premium medical lectures! What are you preparing for?
AK LECTURES I’m studying for the MCAT. I was an undergrad engineering major and just spent 5 years in the Navy. Currently doing a DIY PostBacc at community college and these lectures are literally saving me.
Taylor, thank you for your service! Thats an awesome background, you're going to do really well! Just keep at it because its going to be a long haul but definitely worth it at the end :)
I rarely comment on videos, but i simply had to with this one because it is so refreshing to find these difficult concepts being explained in clear terms. Thank you so much for this it was SO helpful!! You are an awesome teacher.
I haven’t been in school since 2015 prepping for the mcat from the bottom up and your videos are literally giving me life. Was super upset before finding these gems you are a god send literally teaching me from scratch thank you man !!!!!
I've watched so many lectures on amino acids and this is what I consider as the best! I found it very hard to understand amino acids until this video. Thank you for carefully explaining every details! Bless your soul!
Most perfect teacher I have ever seen 😉.....,I just want to know your qualifications because you are helping me in both my biochemistry as well as biology. Even my school teachers and my college professors are not so good because a single person can't teach so perfectly as you do in every lecture of yours......you really deserve great respect. And thank you so much 🙂🙂😊😊
the best professor in the world you have the gift of teaching and you have just the perfect way to deliver information and keep the person focused tell the end Thank you so much
You lectures are awesome. Thank you! Doesn't really matter much, but it looks like the A) amino acid in the highly acidic solution the amine is labeled N3N
Amazing video thank you it helped me a lot , but i have 2 questions : 1- Is amino acid always zwitterion at neutral pH ??? 2- why in (c) the " H3N " lost it positive charge ??
Miguel Aragon don't be a doctor unless you're smart enough to be a doctor. Good doctor is able to examine without test they understand and they listen to their patients and they use common sense. Those tests are not what makes you a doctor
Chasing the Murdered so your logic is that they just wake up with the knowledge they have.. it takes hard work!Lots of dedication to studies..there is nothing like using common sense🙄
how much polymerization do these critters do on their own? do they chain up in solution? will they just make RNA spaghetti in a flask? or will they also pair up into DNA? lets get into this.
hi, i really like your videos, but one question: you said "since the majority of our cells have a pH around 4, the majority of AA exist in this zwitterion form," around 8 minutes. is that true?
I had the same question! first he says that amino acida exist as zwitterions at a 7 pH, and then he says that inside the cells the pH is 4 (...isn't that too acidic?) so they exist ad zwitterions, I can't understand :/
You are excellent at this. Great amount of repetition, perfect pace, emphasis, truly a great teacher!
Thanks! I appreciate the kind words :)
You are one of those few THE BEST teacher in UA-cam. Thank you sir.

You lecture is extremely clear and you explain very well, emphasizing each important info, thank you so much for doing this for free.
heads up to your lecture . your concept is clear excellent excellent
all your lectures on life sciences are most interesting and full of knowledge sir your way to teaching is amazing ....
Thank you Sir

truly the pace is perfect. very easy to follow.
you make the concepts really clear...thnx sir
Wow thats a clean lecture, I understood every single point. Thank you so much for this beautiful lecture.
You actually encourage me to watch more and learn more ! Thank You :)
Thank you Andrey-wonderful lecture. I understand much more about AA structure and its ion characteristics depending on the pH change.
+NewLife you're welcome! happy to help :)
the best professor in the world you have the gift of teaching and you have just the perfect way to deliver information and keep the person focused tell the end Thank you so much
I thank you! My MCAT score thanks you! AWESOME TEACHER!!
You are ALWAYS perfectly concise. Yay!
I've never been greatful to anyone more than ...you are just like a god for me
THE BIOCHEM KING . I WISHED I FOUND OUT THIS Staffff 3 months ago :@
h ak thank you! well better late than never, i guess :)
Wow.!! Where has dis video been all my life!!
thank you so much. so much useful information in a short time, I wish I can give it million likes thanks again.
you are awesome! energetic, clear voice, organized notice with details, thank you for your efforts!
Thank you for not assuming we know the organic chemistry and taking the time to explain it.
You're an amazing teacher. Keep it up.
Thank you so much for simplifying this confusing topic. Great lecture!
You lectures are awesome. Thank you! Doesn't really matter much, but it looks like the A) amino acid in the highly acidic solution the amine is labeled N3N
Thank you! Keep making more videos! I love them!
Thank you so much Sir.. Your lectures are a boon for we students 🙏
Your lectures are very beautiful!
perfect for a level chem in UK
God of biochemistry . 'nuff said.
Awesome Lecture, any recommended book??
THANK YOU! IN this lecture, i could organize knoledges in one~!
Thank you so much. You’re the best.
Wonderffull lecture thanks a lot .... Sir .
I am from India its really really helpful for me thanks

haha same
tuly a GREAT teacher!
Thank you for your effort
you are the best
Stuck for time? Play this in 1.25 playback speed but even at that speed, it’s the most comprehensive lesson on amino acids.
Amazing video thank you it helped me a lot , but i have 2 questions :
1- Is amino acid always zwitterion at

2- why in (c) the " H3N " lost it positive charge ??
wow i love this video
You just saved my med school life. Thank you so much. :)

Very helpful ✨

lets get into this.
Actually my english languange is not much good but i understood you and thank you doctor❤
Yu have written on board that in acidic medium caboxylic group will b protonatad. While actually ammonia group will b protonated. Plz explai
You are the best! Ily
-An ADD head
You should apply black screen colour that would be pleasent.
Thank u so much 🥰
Sir at 8:15 you said our body cells and solutions have a pH of 4 but normal physiological pH is 7.4
"iez" haha, You're awesome dude
Great video 💪 Thãnkš 👍
Beautifully explained:-D
this is so great thank you!
Anna Hayden you're welcome Anna
Like always, you rock!
great job.....a
Amazing
thank you
I haven't understood the concept of protonation and deprotonation. Could you please explain
thank you soooo much!!!
i want a help from u plz upload lecture on major source of ATP by protein lipid
At 8:10
Majority of the cells in the body have pH 4 or 7?
Please advise
7,4. He might have misunderstood.
i want chemical properties of amino acids ak plz suggest
great
Good
awesome

Notes 9:35
You have done a mistake. You say that the ph that aminoacids usually live is 4. (8:15 - 8:20)
He keeps saying "let's remember organic chemistry". Bro, I didn't take that class.
hello Sir...
Can't you see that your video is blurry
Your accent is 1/4th british/ 1/3rd american and 5/12ths southern western film star
