What If James, Therese, and Bear Die Early in Romancing SaGa 2 Revenge of The Seven?

Note: this was recorded on the demo version of the game. I used RAM editing on an emulator to make this happen. I presume the same would happen in the full version of the game.
A core concept of Romancing SaGa 2 is that you can always keep going even if people pass away, with very few exceptions. Every recruitable class has 8 rotating representatives, who take the place of the previous character upon death or a time skip. However, the initial party that goes along with Leon and Gerard have a clear role in the story and appear in cutscenes. So I wanted to see what would happen if they somehow lost all of their Life Points LP in the first dungeon.
To my surprise, the game considered this highly improbable scenario, and actually made sure to account for this scenario. Not only do James, Bear, and Therese get replaced with generic NPCs on the first cutscene, but they also have their replacements ie Bison show up in the cutscene where they speak to Gerard.
They will not join your retinue afterwards, and so only Leon and Gerard are playable for the rest of the demo. It's a wild ride from here, if you somehow play so badly that this happens.
I look forward to trying stuff out with the full release of the game, as RS2 is one of my favorite games of all time.

I think the funniest thing about this is that every character class loops so if you keep killing the other characters off, they eventually just give you the first ones back
