I love how Path of Radiance switches it up. Instead of fighting a dragon you fight a dude on steroids riding a dragon
Sacred Stones makes you fight a Demon who is asleep, but still fights back, mind you.

Medeus intended to enslave humanity. To be exactly like his opponents. Marth had to stop him.
Mila and Duma eventually began to suffer from madness just like the dragons at Archanea. Alm had to put them down.
Loptyr possessed a kind boy and turned him into a tyrant. Where he allowed child hunts and other monstrosities in Jugdral. Seliph had to end such a reign.
Jahn with King Zephiel intended to use Idunn to exterminate humanity. Roy had to seal her.

I cannot see that happening for the foreseeable future. I mean, it would be great and all, but we need the humans with the weapons and such. If it was just dragons, we need only the Wyrmslayers and bam, done.
*"If it was just dragons, we need only the Wyrmslayers and bam, done."*
Not necessarily. If it were that simple, none of the legendary weapons in any of the Fire Emblem games with a human vs dragon war would've ever needed to have been created.
Wakka Seta True, but the issue is that dragons are ridiculously powerful, and Fire Emblem games has you dealing with mostly human enemies, with dragons being the more dangerous one, and lore wise, you'd have to be insanely powerful to defeat dragons.
I mean whole point of fire emblem battles has been like you're using elite group against an army so you have the numbers disadvantage but you have the tactic and quality advantage. Dragons are suppose to be powerful so if you lose that quality advantage makes the game very hard XD
Glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. Lol Fire Emblem loves having dragons as the final boss. I mean we got Medeus in several games, Idoun, the fire dragon from Blazing Sword, Grima, Birthright Garon, and finally, Anankos.
Notice that Fire Emblem was the only series originated on the NES that actually got MORE difficult with each game

I remember killing this guy with Mareeta. She did zero damage each hit, but after the marvelous total of 15 attacks, some hits being critical and others hitting with Luna, the dude went down. Mareeta's a BEAST
It’s not that he got killed before he could counterattack, he had Stone equipped, which is 3-10 range. The point still stands.
Man, even with the limited animation they had to work with, Alm's final blow against Doma was pretty cool.
I've never noticed this but Lyn's chest bounces when she attacks normally

Fortimortiis:"Leon... i don't feel so good"
on the FEFates Revelation a VERY good touch showing Ryoma, Takumi, Leo and Xander Attacking with their Sacred Weapons and Corrin dealing the Final Blow, to bad Corrin's Dragon Fang ability didn't kick in, THAT would of been even more epic.
Critical Dragon Fang would have been EXTREMELY epic finish.
Was it needed for you to say that? A primal urge to put a negative reply to a positive comment?
+Darth_Diminish The Wolf I can agree and disagree, the story is good that's one thing but what makes this game so bad is having to download dlc and revelations to understand the story also all the games are linked and only have 2 universes one is robin turning to grima and the right path where he doesn't...lucina isn't from the future...spoiler alert
That happened to me with both of his hands and head... but with the core he just used Astra... twice with 3 crits between the two.
Berdo is a pathetic final boss, especially fot the nightmare that is Thracia 776. He does have a nice theme though.
The map is actually prettyhard, but the boss is not. He is annoying because he can turn you into stone tho
Love how idoun is taken out in one round and then it shows the fire dragon who takes 7 rounds to take down.
Ike's games were definitely the only ones where it felt like you were fighting gods. Naga, Duma, Mila, Loptous, Medeus, Idunn, Anankous, Grima, they may be worshipped as gods but they're just dragons and they die like dragons. Ashera is the only one where you have to have the blessing of her equal to strike her down and even then she's not dead. Fomortiis is the only other final boss that feels remotely as dangerous or so far above you, even if he is pretty easily killed.

Did Alm just throw away his shield when he landed the final blow? That's badass
Half of it is just Marth going Super Saiyan and fighting off Creator's Block (assuming that it's also a mirage) and wins with the power of friendship and J-pop.
Yes and no... The person isn't Marth, but his mirage is Marth which made him appear as Marth. So it is Marth, but it also isn't Marth.
+Norilla his mirage wasn't Marth it was Chrom, its just that he fused with the soul of Marth. So your last statement is correct but the first one isn't correct.
Yakasuki
I'm aware that his mirage was Chrome, and knew about main character person gaining power from Marth, but I assumed that he replaced Chrome or something, since I never gotten that far because I just got really bored with the game and decided to play something better. And I just never cared enough to about the story to see what happens after you have to backtrack in Chapter 5.
As someone only at the chapter two-three intermission in tokyo mirage sessions: I really regret reading this comment thread
I really liked how the music picked up right when Alm was rushing to deal the finishing blow to Duma. It was just too perfect.
Ashera is actually the hardest boss.... sad this video doesn't reflect that and show the rest of the battle. (But it's super long that's probably why)
I hate how awakening has endings that are both terrible. Like, "Oh you let Chrom kill Grima? Well he's gonna come back and do the same thing all over again." or, "Oh you let Robin kill Grima? Well now you're dead." But hey, who cares right, it never ACTUALLY ends because it NEVER ACTUALLY CLEARS THE FINAL CHAPTER NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO.
Instinct Power if Robin kills Grima, after the credits, Chrom and Lissa find Robin again. Naga said there was a small chance that Robin would live and be teleported somewhere in the world, that is what happened.
Oh. But still that's way too much of a coincidence for Robin to show up in the exact same place where he met Chrom and Lissa.
TacticianRobinz it never says that you wake up in the same spot. It simply has you wake up to Chrom and Lissa looking down at you
And in the ending , the Mark of Grima is missing from the avatar's hand .
*SPOILERS*
If you want endings that doesn't actually clear the story, look no further than Fates, as that is a mess. Birthright and Conquest has you fighting Anankos' puppets as the final boss, while Revelations has you fight the actual enemy, but still it helps little cause of the story being stupid.

I am glad that duma is no longer a giant slug dragon monster. He actually looks like an undead Divine Dragon. Also you know you've made a horrible fire emblem boss when it takes almost 25 minutes to beat.
Fire Emblem Fates final bosses are each something unique. In Takumi's case, he is not a dragon, but controlled by a dragon.
All these giant evil dragons, and somehow the immobile archer is more dangerous than all of them put together.
Grima and Anankos: Largest final bosses ever.
tbh anankos was easy compared to every other fates final boss (endgames) sure he has massive amounts of HP but he doesn't move and only spawn 2 enemy units every turn (starts with 8)

Man it's good to be reminded how weak of a pushover Idunn was... and how terrifying Ashnard and Medeus could be
Good, but Tokyo Mirage Sessions isn't a Fire Emblem game
Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE is a crossover between Shin Megami Tensei and Fire Emblem so quiet you!
of course! Super Smash Bros and Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. are a Fire Emblem game because have Fire Emblem Characters
Actually as much as I hate to admit it it does count as a Fire Emblem game as much as it does a SMT game so it counts, also Smash bros and Codename S.T.E.A.M. are not official crossovers whereas Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE is and Nintendo and Atlus stated that it counts as an official game in both respective franchises so it was right to put it in even if I wish it wasn't.
Holonboy While that is true, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE still counts as a crossover. A cameo is just a small bit part where a character from something else shows up usually has about one or two lines then leaves but when said character is apart of the plot and is integral to the story then it's a crossover. Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE is not just a game with Fire Emblem characters in it said characters are integral to the plot of the game and are the focus of the game, the game is also based around the Fire Emblem mythos specifically the archanea series and Awakening. Also the developers describe the game as a Fire Emblem game but in the style of a Shin Megami Tensei game (specifically Persona and Digital Devil Saga). There is also the original title of the game Shin megami tensei x Fire Emblem. So yes it is a crossover.
