So I started the process of signing up for Tik Tok shop and I backed out once I did some research on Reddit. I think they changed this, but people were saying that you had to ship out your products in 2 days or your account would get banned. And you HAVE to offer a refunds and returns. This does not work for me as a new POD seller as I can't afford to eat the cost of refunds. Tik Tok wants to be Amazon with fast shipping and quick easy returns, but they are putting all that pressure on the sellers or else the seller gets punished.Correct me if I am wrong.
Yeah I totally agree, I got approved only to hear that they do that and now rethinking my logistics for my business and with a 20+ item minimum when “ I make to order” I now have to think about where I’m going to store my supplies if they have this two day from order to courier rule in place.
Please please please do more TikTok Shop videos. I just started a shop recently and am still learning. I'm attempting to sell POD. No sales yet, but I'm trying to get Likes and Followers. I'm a little shy in front of the camera, but I'm trying to overcome that. Now I need to figure out what I need to do to have an influencer show my products in their LIVE shows. One thing that is very different from Etsy is that you are required to ship products within 2 to 3 days. Thankfully there is the TikTok ready products in Printify! 😊
The Data from TikTok is fake as it is essentially an economic warfare tool of the Chinese Communist party which is why it is also going to be banned. This channel talking about TikTok uncritically is absolutely insane.
Isn't anyone worried about personal data security and lack of transparency with tik tock? There's a reason its seemingly easy to make money on their platform.
Margins don't need to be slim... You can easily have a 30 to 40% margin or even higher with print on demand products as long as you're not directly competing on price

I believe they have a handmade policy that gives up to 14 days now, but this is a recent change and I need to look more into it.

I don’t trust it at all. If I get on Tik Tok they want me to sign in. They now all of a sudden want my facebook password. That’s a big no for me.
Isn't tiktok going to be shut down in USA in January?
Between the legal challenges and the incoming administration, that's not very likely to happen...at least at this point.
Hi Scott, do you have any updates on your 'Ads On and Off' strategy, how it's working for you?
POD profit margins are already slim. How much do you offer for an affiliate percentage?

@ Thank you for the reply. I am at 30%+ right now depending on the product. I appreciate your insight! 😃
