18 year olds will turn 27 - if they're lucky. And I think that's what I've learned growing older. I'm 29 now and I realize (especially after losing friends in my 20s) that not everyone even makes it this far. So aging is a gift. The alternative is not living at all.
As someone who's in their early 20s, I can't wait to reach a point in my life where I feel this confident and fulfilled and just excited about growing older.❤

I lost my dog Jasper around the same time you lost Scruffy, and you aren't alone in how you feel. I feel completely okay for a while and then the smallest things get me so emotional. Like the other day I got an old jumper out of my wardrobe and it had a couple of his little white hairs stuck to it, I completely lost it 😭 pets are so special and I remind myself of all the amazing years we had with him. They will always be with us ❤

I live in Vancouver, which is fairly close to Whistler. West Coast of Canada doesn't really get a lot of snow, but you'll see it when you're up on the mountain hopefully. Pack for rain, bring sunscreen, and make sure you have outfits you can layer. Our weather can switch really quickly. Raining or snow one minute, and then super sunny the next

I decided that when I turned 50, last year, that every year, I am going on a 3 or 4 week holiday exploring parts of Australia and finding new book shops. I like watching reading vlogs
