blade is probably not better than Seele IMO but he sure does ridiculous damage, definitely the closest we have to Seele
btw for relics if it wasn't self explanatory
if your crit rate is like 35 and u have like 160 crit damage u can just swap to a crit rate body i just feel like you'll usually want damage
All that while still using teammates that doesn't favor HP scaled, meaning his ceiling is not yet established.
Also the fact that he is more SP efficient than Seele, I think that is a fair trade off in terms of 'meta' that makes him more sustained than Seele if you happened to be miscalculating things when playing Seele.
And that's the bad part about the new planer set, cause 70% is unreasonable for Honkai star rail since Stats are way less compared to genshin so getting a 70% without a main body piece is almost impossible without a 5* LC, blade can somehow manage it, but most likely even he would need a main crit rate body piece for reach 70% cr so the new planer set is pretty bad
@@Why_AreYouit's made for blade, I got around 63% with new set, farmed just in one day, add +16% from set passive and you have 79% already, it's pretty easy to get on blade

Well I did said it's somewhat manageable on Blade, but for units which really would benefit from That planer set like seele, it's just too hard to get 70% cr without sacrificing much of CD. Even the recommended CR is 60% since stats in Honkai are less than Genshin
you cant pair Blade with Tingyiun becase Tingyun Will just steal allthe enemy attack😂

Note : I think Bailu can also increase MaxHP when fully healed so that's a W for Blade along with the revive
Biggest win for Bailu is the fact that she can't cleanse

Yukong actually feels decent with blade because of the skill point balance. I play himeko blade yukong and it feels quite good because follow up attacks and burst doesn’t consume yukong charge

@@bahngchahn_ you want your blade to get hit for more follow ups and bigger dmg on ult. Preservation units has a higher taunt value than destruction units. Of course I can read. And I say it's not worth it.

KripThirteen did the numbers and increasing ATK by 40% ends up in overall DMG increase of 2.5%, so yeah, we're going full on on HP with Blade

Yukong actually really good with Blade. Her ult does lots of dmg not to mention increasing your crits and she buffs your whole team with her skill
Shes alright with blade her skill is useless for him and she can really only crit buff every 3 turns since she needs her ult to do that so in a hypercarry blade comp you should look at other supports then her

If you have Planetary Rendezvous, it increases the elemental dmg of the same element of the wearer. Which means, if you put that lightcone on Bronya, she'll give him huge wind dmg bonus for him at superimposition V. I uses this in both Bronya and Tingyun, it's a pretty good light cone for you to consider.

great guide! very entertaining. I had been saving for blade since I lost my 50/50 on Jing Yuan's banner, and with 150 pulls, I managed to get E0 blade, his LC, my first eidolon of Himeko, AND THEN E1 blade!!! gonna start farming his relics so he won't have to steal dan heng's lol
With 180 pulls I got e1 of Bailu and e0 Blade. Rip.
BTW, HP% and Wind damage on sphere gives same damage. So HP is better since he can be tanky
similar but not the same. wind damage will always be stronger, the degree will depend on your team and LC and whatever buffs are present during MOC. if u run him with a healer in addition to his self sustain, u dont really need the extra HP, especially if u have his signature LC that gives him extra HP

I got Blade in 20 pulls! He is the first early unit I get and I couldn't be happier! Thanks to your positive reaffirmations towards Eidolons for Blade I've decided to try to pull for his Light Cone xD

Quick note in case it helps someone, I paired blade with Tingyun, Ying Juan and Nat. Which was really good, cleared out floor 9 really easily and always had skill points for heal, Ying and Tingyun without a problem, maybe had to skip a skill hit with Ying once as the worst, but it is extremely sustainable, Blade is a lot more flexible than it seems

Got the luckiest I've ever been with his banner. Won the 50/50 and got him early, tried my luck on the LC banner lost early to the 5 star Abundance LC (still a W), decided to keep going and pulled his signature LC on the next 10 pull 😭 I am now a Blade main and I'm stoked about it because he's sooooo good!

I want to use that Blade/Welt/Luocha combo, but as Bronya still hasn't blessed my account, which other unit do you think I can use instead?
So the more dmg he takes the more he gives? And does the dmg stack go away after he heals? Cause im not sure if I should have him healed the whole time or keep him low health. It seems like i should have him completely healed all the time but keep taking hits

Funny enough I never once considered pulling Balde or Kafka.
I got Seele she’s awesome.
I tried to get Jin Yuan. Failed and got Bronya.
Got SW. Was guaranteed.
Did a 10 pull on Luocha which put me at 63 pity. Not going to use an entire soft pity for him. I also have Bailu.
But for Blade and Kafka, I am not doing a single pull.
There are plenty people not pulling for either and waiting for Fu Xuan or Jingliu

The Pele team would be the team I'd use. Typically enemies with wind has ice weakness. Most adds an imaginary weakness too.
I need another dps but I really want IB. But I have imaginary set so wind will be better.

I had 13k jades. Now im like 9k. Threw some at blade and got E1 sushang. Im fine with that. Im not going further. Hes really awesome but theres a whole lot coming in the future and im a light spender. Would rather save for Danny Boy and Jing Liu
me today just got Blade and also E2 Sushang
for example i have 65% crit rate which does not meet the minimum requirement of 70% for rutilant arena, however i still havent received the crit rate buff from longevous disciple. It totals to 81% crit rate, do i get the rutilant arena buff with this?
Damn, I also lost the 50/50 to Himeko too at 76 pity. And it took till 75 for Blade to arrive. Just as painful as me rolling for Luocha 😢

Hello everyone, I need some advice. I've just begun with Star Rail, though it's still downloading. I'm a bit confused after watching various videos. Should I summon for Blade or Kafka, or would it be better to save up for Imbibitor Lunae? Your input would be appreciated!
Who do you want more? I have Kafka and she's just absolutely amazing I'm currently saving for blade when he returns I tried blade and he's a beast but I had personally went for Kafka simply cause I liked her more and she feels better
His E4 just adds a stack each timed he dips below 50% HP, it doesn't go away if you raise it back up (I mean how would you even get 2 stacks if that was the case?) so there's no downside to running a healer. And you want him to be consuming as much HP as possible, so you want to keep his HP high (unless running Arlan LC ofc) so that each HP drain consumes more total HP to buff his ult further. Though, if you don't run any SPD or Bronya then it's not really relevant

I downloaded honkai last week and I got blade back to back, definitely gonna build him uit and I also got welt so he'll work well
One thing I hate about playing harmonies with Bladie is that, for example Bronie, will pick Luocha over him in autoplay for buffs. I guess the AI is going for highest atk or smth, but it's giving me a headache, looking for a suitable team for autofarm with him.

How is Yukong as a support for him with the crit rate and crit damage buff?
She's great for him as well as for the whole team's overall dmg. And if you have her e1 then you can focus more on hp boots for Blade since she'll buff the entire team's spd too. I just keep her SPD a lil higher than his and they synergize well.

I luckily already had a superimposed 3 A Secret Vow and ended up pulling another for superimposed 4. I'm trying to pull for The Unreachable Side though. I doubt I'll get it, feel like I used all my luck on getting Jing Yuan + his lightcone, Silverwolf (guaranteed), then Blade winning the 50/50.
Edit: just did 7 pulls on his weapon banner 2 minutes after posting this initially and got my 5th A Secret Vow. Seems like I might be sticking with that on him. It was originally my Clara cone though so they might have to share it for a bit.
I threw singles on the weapon banner and keot getting Arlan's LC so I decided to try and get one more to S5 it but Blade LC spooked me at 35th pulls.
Now my S4 Arlan's LC is redundant :')

I got blade in like 20 pulls, I was at 30 pity when I started pulling, I'm eiether going to go for his LC this time or next time he reruns, I Have Arlan's light cone which at least seemed sensible on Blade so I am using it. Hopefully Fall of an aeon S5 works better with Jing Liu. Going to go for Luka next on the Kafka banner and I think I'll lose the 50/50 knowing I got a surprise Blade at 50 pulls and in the other Gacha game I play a off pity win a lot of the time results in a 50/50 loss.
Gonna bench Serval and pair him with sushang SW and Nat (Replacing nat with Lynx then Loucha rerun later)

Currently pulling for Blade, but I'm tapped out on tickets/jades, because of Silver Wolf and Luocha.
I already used Blade with Welt as DPS, with Bronya & Luocha as well, in simulated world against Kafka. Altering between Bronya's speed up skill and Welt's slow, Kafka never get her turn the whole fight xD
