My New Fall Setup! POV Skateboard Setup

New Futuristic Setup! POV Skateboard setup. Super hyped on the new complete i got. We have a Andy Anderson flight deck, Powell dragon wheels, ace trucks, DKL grip tape and my first time skating rails. People always say im “Skating in the future” or I have a futuristic skateboard setup. So I though I should film a POV skateboard setup video. Cool new set-up Austin. I'm looking forward to seeing how you like the Anderson board. You'll definitely notice with shuv-its how the board rotates slower, I think where this board really shines is transition and the board really locks in your feet really nice.
Maybe we'll see you review the Heron 2 flight deck when that time comes? Anderson boards always get more views as I'm sure you already know along with the Dragon wheels.

DKL grip was my biggest disappoinment in skateboarding innovation. Try Sysgrip, way better and longlived.
Tape is useless. It only helps positioning the rails before putting them on. Predrill the holes for the rails and just skrew them in tight. All problems solved.

Would you consider doing a transition specific review of the green dragon wheels? There are a lot of street focused reviews but not really on transition. I was wondering if the actual contact patch is not to narrow for transition and whether it's nice to skate on wood as well. Kind regards

Did you forget to do that grip tape scrape thing you do against the board before you use a razor blade?

So with the rubber grip tape you don't need too sand it down💪💪 you can just cut right into it . I do cut a little bit further into the board to make sure it doesn't peel up like griptape. But it helps save my shoes and is easy to apply 💪 dkl griptape 🙏

Will you go back to regular griptape? I wanna get some rubber to skate some new shoes but I don’t live in the US and all I can get is the 4 Pack.
Also, do you have the problem where it starts to come off the sides? Or does the cutting down a little bit onto the board solves that?

Cutting in a little on the board definitely helps and it NEVER peeled up for me when I did that. Im gonna stay with rubber grip I like it way to much hahaha save my shoes and is super grippy

Can you make a full video on how you apply correctly DKL griptape? A lot of other skate UA-camrs always do something wrong and say it’s the grips fault :/

isnt the point of the qwuik trucks to be able to switch in between cruiser setups and street but since you got the dragon wheels which can be used for both at the same time isnt the qwuik truks pointless
