I saw u use your left foot for breaking from time to time which I heard was a big no no.. I suspect its some advanced technique I don't know about (: Would love to know why.

It's so I can brake mord quickly. If I don't need the clutch I feel more in control as i can keep my foot over the gas pedal ready.

I was there this day in a black rx8 for my first ever track day, the fact that there's no barriers and its my closest circuit made me pick bedford, how would you compare it to blyton park? I'm planing on going there for my 2nd track day in an mr2. Due to their reputation and my lack of experience I'm a bit scared of binning it in a barrier but it's nearly half the price of a day at bedford

Here is a video on Blyton Park, Bedford is much better in my opinion but Blyton is still fun: ua-cam.com/video/VMDKBdoZLiY/v-deo.html

Richard what stabilization settings do you use on the GoPro camera? Thanks

I use the basic setting for stabilisation. I think.

Where do you check tire presure, do you check it on a gas station or you have a foot pump or some other way and how often do you check it?

On trackdays people generally set tyre pressures in the garage (or outside depends if you booked or there are garages available) do a lap to warm up the tyres and then have fun. If you drove at the track on the same tyres you should have a pump with you to reinflate them when its time to go home. a small electric one is fairly cheap. A proper tyre gauge is a must. If you use track tyres make sure you use the correct tyre pressures as they are different to what you use on road tyres.

I take my pressure gauge with me and let air out if needed. I don't need to add air. I always let it go a bit higher than recommended before letting air out so it's never too low. On track, air pressure increases which is why I don't need to add air. When hot I accept up to 5psi above recommended cold pressures. If needed I can increase air on the journey home at a garage, but I rarely need to let much air out.

Any updates on the manual transmission issues. Some people had major issues when they did auto cRoss and track days. Do you drive yours carefully due to this?

I'm always nice to gearboxes. But I don't worry about it, hopefully it will be fine as later models were supposed to have fixed the issue.
