Fun to watch these. It's incredibly frustrating when it doesn't go your way. Props to you for going out in the wet, I lay up my Celica in the colder months and it's on AD08RS tyres.
@@RichardFanders that's what I thought when I was researching and buying them. For more hard core track day goers, they can actually be considered a wet tyre lol. They did impress me when I got caught out at a very wet day at Bedford to be fair. Do consider them if you ever get a second set of wheels!
It's a shame you went to Oulton Park on a day when they were using those awful chicanes. To truly experience this great track, you should drive it without the chicanes on the "classic" layout.

I hear those tyres are not good in the wet.

I drive a mk4 golf 4motion around here. A set of r888 and some track brakes made a HUGE difference, much more enjoyable driving, especially in the wet
I was at Oulton Park back in March this year it’s my nearest race track being from Crewe
Guessing your drift videos are gone due to the same error, I will be looking forward to those, cheers
That's right, I'll try and get them back up soon.
Them tighter bends run the throttle and. Brake to get front grip
Always full of crazy clios at Oulton. Got to know when to quit I think.
Satisfying when you overtake someone that blew passed you moments before
If you mean the car that spun, my feelings were more terrified than satisfied. The conditions were not enjoyable.
@@RichardFanders surprised that the Clios are so fast in the wet. 💨 are they FF? Or is that a special AWD version.
Why do you left-foot brake?
It's quicker as I can get my foot ready whilst I'm still using the gas.
we have some of the best circuits in the world, and the worst weather on average to drive them. very annoying!
