I'm truly happy for those travelling Cavalry fans. There were a good hundred or so of them at the stadium having a whale of a time. It just pains me to see the Whitecaps fall so low. That's not to say Cavalry didn't play well; they certainly took their chances and played a really solid 2-legged series. The Whitecaps really need to take a look in the mirror and decide if they want to seriously compete at ANY level at this point. This attitude of complacency and mediocrity starts right at the top: Kerfoot, Lenarduzzi, Lewis, Anderson.

A little late, but the league is mainly to help get Canadian players into the spotlight and higher leagues, so far Calvary has been the best by far at getting youg Canadians and other players into higher leagues in Europe and the MLS, but they are pretty strict on how many non Canadians can be on a team, I believe it's 7, and only 3 can start. @@bobmuller8256 the amount of money mls teams spend on designated players and stadiums it will take 20 plus years for cpl to catch up with that but canada can do a better job than mls at producing homegrown talent like the dutch league or mexican league and if we get relegation that's also a bonus! MLS is a good league with good players but I think they should get relegation with all the teams they have now and spend more of the money on younger players instead of Europeans in early 30's ,and should be a rule were atleast 6 or 7 americans have to play in mls games so you get better development...but yes canada and usa are great countries and neighbors 👍🇨🇦🇺🇸
