Like dudes like this is the reason the game be getting patched. Yes its stupid shyt to fall out of bounds shooting a 3, but u dont have to abuse it and show how broken it is. We need to hold these content creators accountable for being the reason why the gsme is constantly being patched.

Someone threw me an oop last night and the meter never popped up. I got all the meters off but i did last year too. Alley oop meters still popped up last year. 🤷♂️ game feels a bit clunky to me to be honest.

It’s either 2k start out everyone is struggling to shoot or people say it’s to easy
The go to shot moves are actually really op in fact they actually break ankles when you use them correctly and if you have shifty shooter really high it goes in quite a lot. You just have to know how to use it properly
Edit: also you can turn layup timing off 😂 just use real player percentage on your layups
Itz nice to have voice over commentary and seeing The OldTown Park. If 2k just took the things that made its name and just added simple things to it, it would be dope. Even if the wanted to do that barbeque park theme, conquer, they could. Sunset, Rivet City, and old town were simple courts, so customization possiblies are almost endless. The game seems to be a W for right now
I appreciated the Dunk meter, but always hated the layup timing since 20/21 whenever they first added layup timing, I always felt it was extremely inconsistent and only gave consistent timing on specific layup packages... I always turned that shit off but kept the shot and dunk timing

Layups are just like shooting or dunking or any other attribute once you put it up it becomes easier to make them just be patient

2k25 forced me to shoot without a meter ever since I switched to without one shots been a lot more green

Sounds like attributes actually matter this year. Haven't even played yet and it sounds like the best 2k in a while. You should be penalized for running around with a 25 lay or perimeter defense

The defense in this game definitely nerfed. Hands up in the paint with my Rodman build and a mid 80s inside score still going in. I do like how I can lock down dribbling easier but in this one you can’t really rely on just putting your hands up anymore. Jumping blocks is a gamble without gold pogo. All in all though I’m still having fun despite making a defensive anchor.

@@Crazy2k99 it’s a Rodman build so it can lock outside as well. It has to because there’s too many stretch bigs that play this game. I got my badges up so it’s pretty fun. The only thing I wish I made differently is put a little bit more into passing. Mid 70s is decent but it’s too slow for my liking on outlets. There’s enough people that are making shooting builds so there’s no shortage of guards and PFs that can shoot. The only time I have real problems is when my PG is trash.

The game is 🚮and I’m not one to complain about 2k but all in all the game is about a 5…..2K24 is better and more rewarding. Only thing that was broken in 2K24 was the defense. The dribbling and shooting is detrimental towards 2k future.
