Nice gains by both cars goes to show how much they smog down the motors from factory. A set of headers and tune woke The SS, up majorily!! Good work guys.
I’ve got kooks long tube headers on the way for my Chevy SS. I’ve got an intake already and solo performance cat back exhaust so I’m thinking ill do 430 hp. PUMPED. Sounded excellent.
It’s the dog Haus. They have one here by me in California too so that confirms they’re nationwide. Just gonna go ahead and say you’re welcome for this info. They’re amazing
hell yeah i have one of these cars i beat so many other cars like 5.0s, scat packs, etc with headers only even when they have more mods than me…def recommend headers first or a car like this…will get crazy sound with great power output as well
@@JJ2badlife yeah well it also depends on where you live…i live in south texas so we get good gains…up north or less dense places turbo cars carry over there 😬
No way man. No install experience ever and I knocked out the header install in a few days working a few hours at a time. Just as long as you read up on forums and watch install videos beforehand you’ll be fine just take your time and make sure everything is squared away.
Chevy really missed an opportunity with the SS and upsettingly so. The car was never properly introduced or marketed the way it should've been! The Australian versions like the VE Commodore, VS GTSR ,the HSV(walkinshaw) 427 *LS 7 & the Vauxhall VXR8 Bathurst edition(564hp) are drastically better performing & more visually aggressive than this bland & pretty conservative country mate. Compared to the Dodge Charger the SS fell way short when it didn't deserve to! Developed in Australia by GM Holden division (which no longer exist,& sadly) this vehicle was a performance icon for the local race circuit followers & enthusiast type. The powerplant is definitely there but the styling leaves something to be desired, very understated & some would even say "sleeper" type styling. The potential for this now dead performance sedan is impressive because of the LS1 it cradles and the uniqueness makes it almost a special unicorn to be treasured through the years! If I got one I'd definitely find a wide body kit to enhance the kinda uninspired visual appearance & some nice wide rims & tires to really set it off! Great work by the way guys,I like the care & attention to detail you guys employ! Kudos 👍
The kid is learning. Its not condescending at all to say someone is doing a good job, even if you know nothing about the job. Its simply someone appreciating you doing something that pleases people and doing it right.
@@rotor13 I’ve been in industrial maintenance for 20+ years, I have directly supervised millwrights, welders, electricians, electrical technicians, instrumentation technicians, pipe fitters, plumbers, gas fitters.... blah blah blah, if you wanna get your ass handed to you try telling a tradesperson “good job” if you haven’t got a clue. @JPL Performance nice? Fran pays this kid to be a value added member of his STAFF, so far he’s done nothing but loosely stick to a formula his predecessor laid out, opening theme music is like listening to a wet rag, interactions with the other staff is Luke warm, stale and awkward at best, he’s in marketing right? That SS sounded beautiful

430 to the wheels? Car is already 415hp, should put you close to 500 with more u stated
@@travis9994 415 factory is at the fly not the wheel. Getting 430 at wheel with headers and CAI is awesome bang for the buck.
Awesome work guys, 🥇
Great video! The V gives me motivation to throw the 2.5 on my caprice lol, 580 is plenty of power to have fun!
Yeah stick would be 600 which agree for street plenty and then some for sure
I watched this video originally for the Chebby SS, now I'm here for the pupper
Cat delete as well?
love this channel
How much would this cost labor only … and how much parts included
I was waiting to see the hotdog place you guys where talking about... I wanted the experience

I have a 2014 with lt headers, tune, rotofab, ported intake manifold & e-85 it dynoed at 422/422 depends on the dyno
Whatvis the song at 307?
SS stock Crackles and pops go away after headers and tune?
Mine did. Not worried about it though
Wish the dyno runs weren't so muted.
Doghouse Chili Dogs are the best!!!!!!
I agree!
What happened ? the SS is suppose to be 400 stock.
crank Vs Whp
Love the work but it’s probably beyond the reach of regular folks

Great job guys...the shops pretty quiet with no Matt :) oh yeah; Let's Go Brandon!! #FJB
Great cars, built in Australia, killed off by idiots that have no idea.
“Good Job” is one of the most condescending thing you can say to a professional doing a job you know nothing about. Seriously dude.
