Lemongrass is a fragrant herb used in Thai cooking and ancient medicine. It contains some powerful essential oils which boost the health of the human body, especially in terms of preventing cancer, fighting acne and boosting nutrition. It contains a great range of B vitamins in particular which are essential for a healthy lifestyle.
Lemongrass comes in many forms, including powdered, tea, oil and fresh. It is used in many cosmetic products and insect repellents also due to its wonderful properties.

I love lemon grass aka fever grass we call in trinidad. I live in the states but when i get sick it helps me get better all the time. One of the best thing to use for your body.
That’s what we called it in Jamaica too. Have some of it growing in our yard in Jamaica.

In Jamaica ,when we have a fever my mother would boil a big pot with lemon grass,cedar leaves, soursop leaves and spirit weed añd give us a warm bath . It causes you to sweat a lot and soon the fever would be gone. We also drink the tea a lot.

This grass is fever grass when I was back in Jamaica I use to cultivate it it makes nice tea..but never no it was so medically great I all ways have people from overseas come and asked me for it and would just send them go cut it..now I know thank you for sharing
