A couple of clarifications that got cut for time: 1. The C.O.S.C. only tests Swiss movements. Other organizations test movements that aren't Swiss 2. There are other types of chronometers as well, some with different testing standards, such as Superlative Chronometers or Master Chronometers 3. Just because a watch movement isn't chronometer certified does not automatically mean it is not a good movement
Hey love your stuff I always hear you talk about watch straps, but where's the best place to buy them, what are good price ranges for them, and what are ones you prefer on specific watches?
For solid metal bracelets, my go-tos are Strapcode, Uncle Seiko, Islander, and Staib. For leather, I could go on and on, but some of my favorites are Hirsch, Fluco, Colareb, Rios 1931, Delugs, B&R Bands, to name a few. For nylon, Crown and Buckle and Blushark are my favorites. And rubber, it varies, but Isofrane and Tropic make incredible vulcanized rubber straps.
