Yes Mamamoo always singing live on stage (except for one/two, I can't remember exactly in which music show but you can definitely tell that they're really suck and terrible at lip-sync) and even with the playback, their voices are still way louder than the playback itself. Listen when I was looking for a female K-pop group I liked, the only group that I took to was MAMAMOO. I’m coming from listening to old skool female singing groups like En Vougue, Brownstone, Zhane, SWV, Xscape, TLC. And the only female group that I think are at the same level in K-pop is MAMAMOO. I’m all about live powerful, RnB soulful vocal harmonies. As for solo female K-pop artists I would say Jessi, eSNa and Ailee. That’s pretty much it when it comes to deep, lower register, soulful, gritty, power vocals.
