Brolys green card locks the opponent in and gains 70% of his vanishing back while his gauge reduces some of their ki and removes the vanish you generally want to play it out where you just throw out the green after your gauge is almost activated as his green correlates to his gauge activating also broly has only 2 cover always use them on blues (sorry for the essay)

The thing is, I find high value in having him on the team to avoid highly dangerous blues or greens, like namek gokus green But besides that he's just disappointing defensively and offensively
