For me, I'd say he's more situational now. Do they have armor or rely on armor? Maybe not the pick then, or go for squishies more instead if you super main him now.
And they better keep it that way. I don't mind if they nerf the radius a bit but leave sig alone. He's perfect the way he is now. Any more and he might be pushed to the edge. The only person that sre gonna complain about nerfing sig after seeing this are the ones that would dog on meta tanks like Orisa. Tanks are now good and fun to play so I don't even want to hear it.
@@NemesisRavebane Yeah. I would really love a second tank. Even as a dude who never played OW1, I would love a second tank because that way I have less pressure put on me because if I'm getting counter picked or am having an off day a second tank helps me share the responsibility.

Queen buff feels really good but I'm feeling the armor change and headshot reduction a lot more. You can't bully Dva anymore because your shotgun deals a grand total of zero damage against armor and against tank heads
@@WeeabooPockygetting knife on dva is super easy esp if you pay attention to their matrix….. but rly you shouldn’t be throwing your knife at tanks anyways….. to get bleed you wanna use axe and knife melee when it comes to tanks. shouldn’t have to explain this esp as i only started playing ow2 a month ago
@@crunchysalmonswdym you shouldn’t land knife on tanks, especially with a dive tank like Dva? A lot of times it’s not a bad idea to put a knife on someone like dva or winton so that you can pull them back when they try to escape and easily punish them. Sure you can go for more squishy targets, but it’s definitely not a bad idea, especially if you can potentially get a kill on the tank.
Loving how they upped the health pools for everyone to stop peoppe dying too fast and then keep upping damage for various heroes because they're not killing fast enough
That's not why they upped the health pool. They upped the health pool because 200 hp is too little of a health pool to fine tune breakpoints. As an example, the Junkrat buff that gives him 2 shot directs but still doesn't give him his combo back would've been far less elegant than a simply 5 damage buff before the health pool increase.
@@gracecalis5421Globally, no one was complaining about one-shots (besides when they were hard meta) its more so supports could kill dps way easier than dps could them with high healing and tank was tank (miserable). But late season 8 in my opinion was the best balance the game had been in for a while. Most dps and tanks were playable, and supports weren't op but not weak and the game was fine. But then season 9 they make tanking miserable with the dps passive, make supporting more tedious and annoying while healing, and made getting kills too reliant on dps aka putting more pressure on them to preform well.
They never upped the health pool to lower the ttk. They have always said that they wanna keep ttk similar so obviously they are gonna up some of the damage to compensate for higher health pools. What they wanted was to not have high burst damages that delete heroes instantly while still having consistent damage and high bursts that doesn't insta kill to keep the ttk similar. Yall just made up a narrative in your head and then runs with it to complain about shit that never happened lol
Brother the change was meant so that LOS to the center of the ult was not required, if it worked correctly you'd still have to be in the actual circle of the ultimate and not get grabbed through a wall or floor. It's scary how many likes this has; clearly a bug, and clearly the community ain't the smartest people lmfao
@nj4442 highly doubt it. If we all read it as it is working right now, there's no mistake that it's working as they intended. "Doesn't need LOS now" literally everyone: "so through walls?" Answer: yes, oh gawd, yes

Ye must be fun because everyone like to play those heroes right? Can't believe they can have fun playing the heroes they like and winning at the same time

"Tank BUFFS" might be a bit misleading. After some testing from before to now against a Rein as the basis, this is what I found: (Body/Headshot) Dva (+8/+5) Doomfist (+3/+2) Junker Queen (+2/+1) Orisa (+4/+8) - unsure of this one tbh Rein (-1) - one less swing, which is big! Roadhog (0/0) - no difference Sigma (-1) - one less 2-rounded attack Winston/Zarya - ignores armor so big for them So as we can see, for the most part, it is not LESS VIABLE to shoot the tank as the tank - with a few exceptions. However, when it comes to DPS, that's when we see an interesting result. As for what I can tell, it appears that body shots require less bullets, ranging for 1-3, while headshots requires more bullets to kill, ranging from 1-3. While that may seem like nothing to some like Cass and Widow (who lost nothing as it was the same across), heroes like Ashe and Hanzo might want to do more body shots as the gap is far more closer than before. And of course, explosive and beam heroes benefit from this overall. They lost nothing, so expect more Junkrat, Sym, Pharah, and even Venture. However, the biggest issue I see is not DPS, with a few exceptions, it is the Support. Ana (-2) Bap (-3/+3) Brig (-2) Illari (-2/-1) Kirko (-2/0) Lucio (0/+4) Mercy (-1/+4) Zen (-2/0) Now while I do say that I am fine with a strong Support, this may be an issue as their power is slowing begininng to creep again, and I doubt we want to see that again. And when this was meant to be a patch for the tanks too! *Biggest losers not worth mentioning (those who require 10+ to kill, both in headshots and body) - Mauga (when not on fire), Ram, Wrecking Ball, Sojourn, Sombra, Tracer, and Lifeweaver
Hanzos also in the 10+ because unless the enemy doesnt move after the first shot you usually cant kill them before cover/ healing unless you use storm arrow
To be fair, I actually think that's going to be okay. Supports have felt all around pretty weak this season, especially since they gave DPS 20% passive back. Having them deal slightly more damage against tanks at the cost of the tanks/DPS burst being bad is a very fair equalizer. Plus, it makes support feel just slightly more impactful. 20% healing debuff 25% crit debuff And slightly more damage to compensate heals All kinda makes for a great mechanical cocktail in theory.
It’s not necessarily the “strength” of tank he complains about but the gameplay loop of tank in ow2. All the responsibility while having less agency than the other roles. U are the focus of most of the enemies cc etc. 10 incorrect and 1 correct play type deal. If u chose any of the 10 u auto lose the fight for ur team
@@jaded-harperAnd guess what? You can’t balance that out! It’s like an uneven scale. No amount of adding or removing will help if one of the sides always have an uneven amount.
@@RIP_ZYZZ1738 yup. its very similar in wow. 3 dps 1 tank 1 healer. leads to seasons where tank/healing is god awful miserable or just straight up overpowered asf. u die as a tank in a dungeon ur team is auto wiping. u die as a healer ur team is dying to aoe dmg. u die as a dps no one gives a shit really lol. just bad design imo
It seemed like a nice little thing that flux would always work if the foe was visibly in the circle. It's a whole other thing that it can work when the foe can't even visibly see the circle. Imagine, if you will, seeing literally nothing when Doomfist comes crashing down directly on top of you. It's like that.
The question isn't if tank is saved It's which role is going to get screwed over in compensation for it. Tank started the game dominating, and that led to dps/support feeling weak. Tanks got nerfed, orisa is the only one that feels really good and the rest are sucking ass while supports reign supreme. Too much healing now, lets give dps an antiheal ability and oh boy now tank just went from bad to insufferable. Now tanks are bulkier... But how does this impact the other roles? Are supports/dps having an impact by shooting the tanks? Are all tanks improved or does this only help like 2 or 3 while the rest still suffer? The biggest problem with 5v5 is that we went from balancing heroes to now balancing each role specifically, and no patch has left all roles feeling good. Tanks have to be OP since there's only 1, but tip that scale too far and now the other roles are terrible too.
In the end, this solves nothing imo. They can gigabuff ball all they want, but playing him into his counters will still feel miserable. Same goes for every tank.
@@overconfidentmegthatgetstu9120 that's what it seems like. It doesn't seem like tank is really fixed, your suffering is just prolonged. Knock back resist is good i guess but its the least impactful CC, what about stun/hack? Even if you resist KB its still gonna throw off a character like ball significantly more than a character like Orisa. Idk why they still have role passives when they make balance a mess, you can't give Hog and Winston the same CC resist passive and expect both to benefit equally from it. And don't get me wrong you cant just give ball CC immunity cause he does NEED to be countered by CC. Ball I just don't see working in this format unless you just do the lifeweaver thing and buff the everloving hell out of him.
@darcidious99 I mean, they are already doing that. Buffed pretty much every aspect of him. His ramming dmg, his piledriver, his ult, got significant buffs. And all of this right after his rework, too. In the end we are always gonna be forced to play rock paper scissors. If the tank on your team refuses to swap it becomes infinitely harder to win. And the enemy team will always counterswap to deal with your tank. Everyone always says "these changes are gonna be so good" after every patch and after a few weeks people realize it's shit changes.
@@overconfidentmegthatgetstu9120 exactly. You can't just patch out rock paper scissors. Even when tank sucks its still the most important role which we've seen, that's why you can dedicate an entire team comp to countering the tank and unless that tank plays perfectly, they must switch... Or just play orisa/mauga That one dude who played ball after the rework then the enemy swapped to Ana/Brig/Sombra and I think a mccree or other big cc hero. He played perfectly, and it looked like misery incarnate. It's nice that balls getting buffed to the moon, but it's not gonna make the character beat the enemy team when they have an ana/brig/sombra/mccree, they refuse to do anything to address counterswapping which is THE issue.
Yeah I can't believe they dared to say "to make counter swapping a more interesting choice" for a 0.5 sec buff to zarya ult. It's never interesting, and it's rarely a choice. 6v6 please!
Brig needed that change because Rally is a reactive-defensive ult, and like half of it's value is in the shield bash stun. So before this buff on Brig you were potentially punished pretty hard for using your main ability at all by losing a big chunk of your ult's value if anything you need to react to fast happens. Also, you're acting like a whole ult allowing you to barely kill one squishie while wasting your only movement ability is something crazy, not to mention it pretty much did that already if your team had at least half a brain left to shoot the stunned squishie in a teamfight. Yes, it provides overhealth to allies nearby, but it's still not nearly as enabling as other support ults. It's a life saving ult, not a teamfight-winning ult
As a brig enjoyer I disagree, this change was unnecessary af, brig was fine and didn't need any buffs. "So before this buff on Brig you were potentially punished pretty hard for using your main ability at all by losing a big chunk of your ult's value if anything you need to react to fast happens." Yep thats why you don't use it when you're going to need it. Same goes for suzu, if you waste your cooldown when you needed it for something else you deserve to be punished for it.
"Also, you're acting like a whole ult allowing you to barely kill one squishie while wasting your only movement ability is something crazy" But thats not the whole ult it also gives her a fuck ton of hp, a massive shield that can block several cooldowns like ana nade, sleep dart, jq knife, prevent mauga from getting his lifesteal, roadhog hook, orisa javelin, soldier rocket, etc, and gives your entire team overhealth in addition to the inspire she already gives. Brig really did not need this change "not to mention it pretty much did that already if your team had at least half a brain left to shoot the stunned squishie in a teamfight" So you're killing two squishies when she uses her ult then, she popts ult and solo kills a squishy by herself, and then its off cooldown for the second stun she kills a second squishy with her team as you said . So she isn't using her whole ult just to kill one squishy like you said she was. She's killing two squishies alongside blocking dozens of cooldowns with the massive shield, gaining armor and making her team practically unkillable. "Yes, it provides overhealth to allies nearby, but it's still not nearly as enabling as other support ults." You didn't even mention the giant ass reinhardt shield that lets her block multiple characters entire characters kits "It's a life saving ult, not a teamfight-winning ult" Its a tempo ult like coalescence. It doesnt need to hard counter everything in the game, cc people, assassinate several squishies, make her and her team immortal and let her block most cooldowns for free with a giant shield. just compare rally to coalescence, Brig did not "need this" its so fucking unneccessary
Junkrat buff gives back 2 tap on his gun. Hanzo's buff is speedy dragons. Nice. His dragons were never meant for damage, so instead of helping his normal play style they went and tried to change it by changing his ult. I've been using dragons for zoning for 8 years. Really guys?
Junkrat got 2 tap on his gun, but equivalent to Hanzo's one shot headshot would be left click mine combo dealing 250 dmg again. Rat got a buff but it's like if Hanzo would get a +5 dmg on storm arrows (I have no idea what the breakpoints are). It would feel nice, but it's not the reason why everyone is complaining. But as Hanzo main I'm in unimaginable despair. I've stopped playing him since 1 shot removal, because it's not enjoyable for me. I really hoped for reversal of that.
@@vatum20 A better comparison would be if they increased Hanzos arrow damage to 125 but decreased his headshot multiplier so he can't oneshot headshot but can at the very least twoshot bodyshot. Because their reasoning for why they increased junkrats damage was that the health changes made it so it takes one extra shot to kill an enemy (from 2 to 3), and the health changes did the exact thing to hanzo, making him need an extra body shot arrow to kill (2 to 3), and hanzo fires slower than junkrat.
@@wyrda1602 You are right, but I was just saying how it wasn't the change Junkrat players were hoping for. Because that was what I thought op thought based on his comment.
They made junkrat an even more spam character now instead of changing the mines for more skill expression. They ruined Hanzo by making him a storm arrow andy and ruined he's ult so it now basically does nothing to tank and can only kill squishes which never happens and as you said its worse for zoning.
My hot take/ramble is. With the 5v5 vs 6v6 debate I really hate the reasoning of "no one played tank" because to me that just means the dev team were so incompetent of making tanking fun that they basically said "Since we can't do our jobs correctly let's just punish the off-tank players by deleting that role and force all tank players to relearn the whole game" So they went down that road only to then make tanking worse in 5v5. Sick of people giving devs excuses and saying the little crumbs they give tanks are enough. Tanking hasn't been totally fun since ow2 came out and idc if u say oh tanking was fun for this season and then this season. Tank players shouldn't have to go months between fun tank seasons. It's not fair that they have to keep guessing when they can have fun again then worry that it will only last a few weeks. I want 6v6 back not because I think it's better but because in OW1 I didn't go a Dat without wanting to least play a few tank games but now I could go days or even a week without playing. 6v6 I knew I could at least deal with bad tank metas and have a little bit of fun but in 5v5 Im slowly losing my desire to play and that sucks because ive loved OW since 2016. The only reason I havent completely given up on OW is because there isnt another game like this and the potential to be amazing again is there. So if this patch doesn't make tanking better than devs need to suck it up and realize they don't know how to fix tanking. So instead of only doing it themselves they need to get together with well respected tank streamers and let them every month or 2 make a tank patch and throw in the game for a hack weekend and see how it does. Do it until something works.
That hanzo change is going to hit harder than most people think 15m/s That thing is silent when traveling through walls, if it catches you in a tight space its over Bronze killer for sure.
It's not really a buff but rather what they call "shifting power". Far worse for zoning, better at catching someone off-guard for a kill. Also it's worse for the Zarya combo because it goes through faster, can't kill a Hog even if they eat the entire ult.
I will say it: nothing has really changed. Tanks that used to explode still do so. The only difference is the characters causing the explosion. Instead of tank busters it's characters dealing big damage in one hit (Cass, Ashe, Junk, etc.). Tanks with huge hitboxes are going to suffer from this the most. On the other hand, JQ and Zarya will be A+ tier because they're more difficult to hit, received buffs and weren't affected by the armor nerf.
It's not that, it's his abject hate for Brig as a character. He almost always over estimates how good she is, and whines anything she gets anything good. Love Flats and his content, but the Brig tears just make me roll my eyes.
@miterkrab4432 Reaper is a character that is really only useful for stopping tanks (he never really filled this role in ow2) and now they are even more powerful. Genji is just a terrible hero that will be bodied even harder by the stronger tanks. I realize he might be good in lower elo but im top 20 rn and he is legit unplayable.
@@zoomerplayz6764I knew he was bad as a Genji main myself but I didn’t know he was unplayable in higher ranks (I just thought I was in Bad Diamond 4 Btw)
@MelonBoi0 Yeah his stats are objectively 10x worse compared to almost every other hero, and his designed playstyle (going in with dash and surviving with deflect) is god awful in good lobbies.
I'm amazed they didn't give reinhardt a slight increase to movement and attack speeds when his shield is broken since mirrorwatch reinhardt was so much fun
Hanzo's is 100% a nerf. I main him and have for years, and the fact that it goes faster but does the same damage means it's just even easier to get out of it. We are tired. #fixhanzo
@dustinbiester4401 I felt like I got more kills when it was slower because it was in the area longer. I think it is best when the player knows where to shoot them for the best effect (combined with other abilities or not) but even then, it changes all of the muscle memory and knowledge of good spots when it's faster
Bruh, they definitely know the real reason why hanzo is bad, but instead of trying to fix the problem, they're just gonna put a shitty band-aid on it and leave it on the shelf and act like it's not there, that's so annoying😒
It's buff overall because the problem with his ult is that its too easy to get away from, the speed increase allows his dragon to apply more pressure while still doing decent dmg. Also it makes his ult less dependent on other ults like grav or flux.
Those were the fun days man, sadly blizzard hates the shimada brothers and will leave em in the pits of hell 4 then 2 rot. Me personally I was thinking genji and Hanzo players just stop playing their characters forcing blizzard 2 change them. I don’t want a op character, I just want a character that takes skill and hard 2 play NOT to be in c tier, an average B-A and while u might say “oh each character has their own meta some are good in this season soma are good in that” the character has been in C ever since the 2 weeks he was good. Ever since he was in the trenches. In season 9 he was making a lil bit of a comeback but he’s terrible again, buff genji and bring Hanzo 1 shot back.
I haven't played in a few days, but I'm excited about the way Zarya is gonna feel now. Her existing shields along with the improved self healing is gonna make her regen so nice and quick, you love to see it
I love when developers put in their comments in patches. I really think it needs to become a normal thing as it helps people see where they were coming from and why they would do something. Them talking about the Hanzo “buff” makes a bit more sense when they say why they did it instead of just showing the numbers and having people guess

7:18 - October of 2020 patch - Ow2 isn't behind a paywall anymore so means more players are gonna willingly try tank and its synergies - Ow1 had content drought and wasn't getting updates = player decline = less tanks - Game is being updated now with newer heroes which means more fun tanks to try - Ow1 tanking was boring and ow1 dev team heavily wanted ppl to play poke comp - Ow1 balance team was worse than the balance team we have now. And if this balance team were to try and balance 6v6, they can really make it work. - Ow2 5v5 format is the problem and nothing the dev team can do will be able to fix tank as an issue. - Ow2 5v5 open queue sees a lot of 2 to even 3 tanks nearly every single game which means im sure yk what this means. I didn't play OW for a couple years and when I came back Junkrat, my main damage hero, felt like actual shit. I get nerfing the mine combo since that was easy and quick, but 3 direct hits to be lethal was ridiculous.
Maybe he just needs to be... Reworked... The dreaded word. He is outdated, I'd like to see his kit improved or his shotguns improved heavily. They suck at literally everything except tank busting. They need to fix his damn guns.
@@jeremyhorner9531 What if his shadow step was a quick dash instead of a teleport, with invulnerability? Kinda like Moira, but the invulnerability isn’t as long and the dash doesn’t take him as far. One thing to mention is that tanks always get the raw end of the stick when it comes to toxicity, despite 90% of people being toxic being unable to actually play tank. Remember when he said he’d rather have orisa than the dps passive buff? Guess he ate his words. even if the changes end up being broken it doesn’t matter too much because MOM SAID ITS OUR TURN TO HAVE FUN! Also the armor buff helps torb, bastion, and brig so the other roles got presents too. I don’t think the echo buff is gonna be that bad. Because there’s still that level of skill required for you to play a completely different character for 10 seconds even with the increased ult charge. I didn’t even know that JQ couldn’t use her shout while doing other stuff, probably because I always pop the shout before using her other abilities anyway but that’s just me. I know I’m writing a paragraph long comment to a UA-cam video but I think everyone’s done it at some point. Pray with me everyone for a fun time for tanks this half of the season!
It's been like that forever bud did you finally get out from under the rock? Kill the tanks and isolate them to win, where have you been at bud? Tanks are finally able to be more aggressive and it not just be a who kills the tank first match because the tank has better survivability now and it would be better to sometimes shoot the dps and support, instead of focus firing with a nano bastion turret erasing the tank before they can breath lol why do y'all think it's just this patch kinda thing? It's been happening for 11 seasons like I'm actually perplexed, bamboozled, schmekel dwarfed, discombobulated rn lmaooo

The losing streak change is very nice. At it's worst I deranked as I lost 12 games in a row, playing well or really well in each of those games, every game was just such an uphill battle that I couldn't be enough of a carry. I was the best player in my team in most of those games so it was really frustrating to keep deranking because of the loss streak multiplier.
just ganna say how hanzo has been shafted this whole time, he loses his 1 shots, his ult going faster is so you cant use it to clear point as effectively, and he gains less ult charge then before since he cant 1 shot people and his headshots on the tank will do less.

At first I didn't mind the Sigma buff because from the way they described it, I thought they meant the direct center of the flux area. But no, it's the flux in general. And that terrifies me.
They need to make a hybrid armor of OW and OW2. Like the damage reduction is 25% + 1. Reaper's damage (108) on armor would be, OW= 54, OW2= 75.6, Hybrid= 61 Pharah's damage (120) on armor would be, OW= 115, OW2= 84, Hybrid= 89 Soldier's damage (19) on armor would be, OW= 14, OW2= 13.3, Hybrid = 13.25
How long until we all accept it's a format issue and we go back to 6v6? No matter how many reworks and number merry go rounds we go through, none of it will fundamentally change. Bring back 6v6. Save Overwatch.
The problem always has been they removed a slot and never truly balanced the characters for it. Tanks are the most effected but some DPS and Supports still suffer. The game both in PvP and PvE was not ready but due to execs they had to release something to make money.
Without watching the video, no, Tank is not saved. Regardless of the small buffs that have been received, other bad teammates still make it impossible to win on Tank. You cannot solo carry as Tank, no matter who you play as

The idea of moving Junkrats power to his primary and keeping his mines for movement or booping enemies would be such a good way to balance him imo. They did it to a small extent here but I would be willing to let junkrat get his mines faster or a 3rd if dmg wasn't so high. Raises skill ceiling while keeping character identity.
Honestly the hanzo one shot nerf got me hard but if OW devs insist that he shouldn’t one shot I think that storm arrows should be a resource instead of a cooldown sorta like brig repair pack or doom’s shots this way if he gets a head shot he could follow it up with storm arrow with out having to waste the cooldown

Why not do 1 tank, 1 dps, 1 support and 2 flex in 5vs5. 1 tank, 1 dps, 1 support and 3 flex in 6vs6. Introducing flex makes the people being able to choose and have core 1/1/1 . I have a question. When I queue in Quick Play, I get bonus XP for picking all roles or support. So that says to me, that support is in high demand. They have shorter queue times and grant you bonus XP for the Battle Pass. So if tank is really the class that is played the least, than why not apply the bonus XP there? I would play way more tank in that case. Also when I select All Roles, most of the times I would still end up playing support and rarely a tank and even rarer a dps. Wouldn't it kinda help to solve the problem, or is there a hidden mechanic I don't know about? Like because I'm best at support, because I play support the most, because it's the one I get to play in all roles quick play, the game automatically assigns me to play more support? Have a good day. This makes perfect sense. I’m starting to see that people will just complain about anything
They never upped the health pool to lower the ttk. They have always said that they wanna keep ttk similar so obviously they are gonna up some of the damage to compensate for higher health pools. "Tank BUFFS" might be a bit misleading. After some testing from before to now against a Rein as the basis, this is what I found: (Body/Headshot)
Dva (+8/+5)
Doomfist (+3/+2)
Junker Queen (+2/+1)
Orisa (+4/+8) - unsure of this one tbh
Rein (-1) - one less swing, which is big!
Roadhog (0/0) - no difference
Sigma (-1) - one less 2-rounded attack
Winston/Zarya - ignores armor so big for them
So as we can see, for the most part, it is not LESS VIABLE to shoot the tank as the tank - with a few exceptions.
Ana (-2)
Bap (-3/+3)
Brig (-2)
Illari (-2/-1)
Kirko (-2/0)
Lucio (0/+4)
Mercy (-1/+4)
Zen (-2/0)
Now while I do say that I am fine with a strong Support, this may be an issue as their power is slowing begininng to creep again, and I doubt we want to see that again.
Thank you for the deep analysis! 👀🙏
20% healing debuff
25% crit debuff
And slightly more damage to compensate heals
All kinda makes for a great mechanical cocktail in theory.
Supports need dps now??? You think we can just afk heal against the dps passive? We have to dps and be better 100%😂😂😂

nah, making it to where u cant get grabbed if u blocked los made flux have counter play, now if ur not on a mobile hero ur just screwed
The question isn't if tank is saved
It's which role is going to get screwed over in compensation for it.
Or just play orisa/mauga
That one dude who played ball after the rework then the enemy swapped to Ana/Brig/Sombra and I think a mccree or other big cc hero.
Brig really did not need this change
"not to mention it pretty much did that already if your team had at least half a brain left to shoot the stunned squishie in a teamfight" So you're killing two squishies when she uses her ult then, she popts ult and solo kills a squishy by herself, and then its off cooldown for the second stun she kills a second squishy with her team as you said . So she isn't using her whole ult just to kill one squishy like you said she was. She's killing two squishies alongside blocking dozens of cooldowns with the massive shield, gaining armor and making her team practically unkillable.
"Yes, it provides overhealth to allies nearby, but it's still not nearly as enabling as other support ults." You didn't even mention the giant ass reinhardt shield that lets her block multiple characters entire characters kits
"It's a life saving ult, not a teamfight-winning ult" Its a tempo ult like coalescence.

When we getting that Genji one shot back and that peak nanoblade

- October of 2020 patch
- Ow2 isn't behind a paywall anymore so means more players are gonna willingly try tank and its synergies
- Ow1 had content drought and wasn't getting updates = player decline = less tanks
- Game is being updated now with newer heroes which means more fun tanks to try
- Ow1 tanking was boring and ow1 dev team heavily wanted ppl to play poke comp
- Ow1 balance team was worse than the balance team we have now.
Ppl love more than 1 tank.
- A lot of new players never got to try Ow2 so they will be more incline to try it out (this is prob irrelevant)
Last point Gibraltar sigma ulting from spawn like old mercy rez! This will be funny
Saw ball in the thumbnail and read "tank buffs" and clicked faster than light
I didn't play OW for a couple years and when I came back Junkrat, my main damage hero, felt like actual shit. I get nerfing the mine combo since that was easy and quick, but 3 direct hits to be lethal was ridiculous.
genji mains are with yall cuz dragonblade now takes 3 swings to kill 💀
Was Reaper not ruined enough? We have to nerf his tank busting ability even further?! Somebody save this man!
My thoughts exactly
Maybe he just needs to be... Reworked... The dreaded word. He is outdated, I'd like to see his kit improved or his shotguns improved heavily. They suck at literally everything except tank busting. They need to fix his damn guns.
@@jeremyhorner9531 Reaper sucks rn
@@jeremyhorner9531 What if his shadow step was a quick dash instead of a teleport, with invulnerability? Kinda like Moira, but the invulnerability isn’t as long and the dash doesn’t take him as far. Already saw a video of KarQ using the ult on the first training bots under the gym room in the training area map and it goes through it, interesting.
This patch is huge jeez
One thing to mention is that tanks always get the raw end of the stick when it comes to toxicity, despite 90% of people being toxic being unable to actually play tank.
I dont want to constantly have to play orisa last patch, but if i picked, say, junker queen, i would be told "change or report" in the spawn doors like it was insane

I feel like with dragon if people are out of the way of the end of it they are living regardless, so might as well let it get to them faster, even if it doesn't hold them back as long, might be worth catching them in it sooner, have to see how it goes
Gonna be interesting to see if tanks are gonna be deleted quicker or slower.
if u revert to 6v6, with balance patches every other week like OW 2, u can make Tank Fun again and have a healthy population to fill queues more fast just like October 2020
it was fun cancelling sig ult with lifeweaver while it lasted 😔
I'm convinced Flats is under some contract to not say anything too harsh about Overwatch devs.
Edit: Nevermind. I just watched a reaction vid where Flats goes off. I do disagree with his reaction of this patch because it's another step in the wrong direction and a big one at that!
Wait so they're just fully admitting that they will be beginning to lowkey rig matches in favor of those on lose streaks? How many losses does it take for the system to begin putting you in i guess...."pity que?"
forced 50 50 has been around for quite some time, and blizzard even said it didnt exist like a year or two ago. but theyve admitted it does, time and time again. and everyone still shits on those of us that despise the game because of the forced 50 50. i dont play competive games to get a winrate dictated by the devs of the game. i play competitive games to see my own skill level in said game, if im bad at x game, i want to know that im bad at x game. i dont want a forced fuckin win/loss rate
None of this had to happen before OW2. Ain’t that something?
Most matches are for sure going to be whoever has the best tank
13:11 I’d say both, because yes it lasts a slight bit less time it works better fired out of spawn and can’t be ignored too much
Flux was LOS based? I feel dumb but satisfied in knowing why certain flux attempts missed. Its not like I was going for none LOS flux though so lol. I just thought it covered the outside of objects.
Edit: oh no indeed
Yup. Lifeweaver can’t counter it mow

They need to make a hybrid armor of OW and OW2. Like the damage reduction is 25% + 1.
Reaper's damage (108) on armor would be, OW= 54, OW2= 75.6, Hybrid= 61
Pharah's damage (120) on armor would be, OW= 115, OW2= 84, Hybrid= 89
Soldier's damage (19) on armor would be, OW= 14, OW2= 13.3, Hybrid = 13.25
How long until we all accept it's a format issue and we go back to 6v6? No matter how many reworks and number merry go rounds we go through, none of it will fundamentally change.
Bring back 6v6. Save Overwatch.
They aren't doing that until they discover how to make Tank not insufferable to play
The problem always has been they removed a slot and never truly balanced the characters for it. Tanks are the most effected but some DPS and Supports still suffer.
The game both in PvP and PvE was not ready but due to execs they had to release something to make money.
Junkrat damage has been increased, and with the armor change makes him a better armor buster. So i think junk will be good in lower ranks
Junks always good in lower ranks because people can't walk for shit in there.
sig ult is a lifeweaver nerf?
Without watching the video, no, Tank is not saved. Regardless of the small buffs that have been received, other bad teammates still make it impossible to win on Tank. You cannot solo carry as Tank, no matter who you play as
Imagine buffing sigma (an A/S tier hero), making old brig kinda back, meanwhile genji is genji (you can play perfectly as genji and get rolled by a gold mccree XD)
genji is one of the highest pick and winrate characters in gm. if you're struggling on him vs gold players its a skill issue
@@ironman1458 yeah, sure, my bad that dash, rightclick to the head (all 3 hit), melee and another rightclick (only 1 hit cause he rolled away) can't kill mccree (aka you played perfectly to get rolled to 3 bodyshots from hitscan XDDD).
Did something happen to the mythic skins? Because the ones I have are now gone and the shop says unavailable is it a glitch or are they doing something?
