Human Head Modeling : Slow Reproduction Version

This is the slow version? Where is the fast version! I am sure it's faster than light!:)
P.S.: The video is awesome!
P.P.S.: The head looks amazing!
Funny you should ask, UA-cam will recommend the "fast" version to hundreds of people 5 years after your time: ua-cam.com/video/ac4qV2uIF3Q/v-deo.html
(Actually got here from there.)
does it help if you slow the whole process down with the speed settings?
@@ClokworkGremlin I love your comment.
Hey! this is what my teacher told me about, "start with a sphere to start modelling a head. Modelling is like drawing a person's face on a paper! Remember, Creative is better than knowledge"
This video is a very good example! THANKS! i now have solved the riddle
This is why all the 3D artists should know how to draw a basic concept for characters, also with a little of knowledge about how the edge loops affect the model and creative the artist can do fantastic things, this is what i think. (Sorry for my bad english :D)

Still amazing after almost 10 years!
Yep
This is great. I really love the way you start out on the model. I really want to find a quick and easy way of making a head and you seem to doing it. Will try to follow this one today
Wow, that was really impressive. I like that you completely finished the texturing and rendering too.
The impressive moment is when blue polygons begin to change to real skin textures
can you make this for c4d pleas
Oh and of course, polygons. Knowing how to edit polys effectively is the very first lesson of the 3D modeling beginners. Yes, I myself am also a beginner; but for me, it is possible to figure something out from this clip.
This surely IS a tutorial. True, people might think that this clip was too short to explain in all details. But this is because it is suggested, and also required, that the audiences should have some basic operating experiences and knowledges of 3D programming functions.
For example, if you know nothing about connecting and cutting, then you would wonder how he could magically makes the polygons spread away precisely.
This is so gorgeous, the process and seeing the end product. Wow!
I gotta give it a thumbs up. Incredible cinematography and composition.
errr this one is maya but i used blender to make the head, obviously it doesn't look as pro as his but its a 1st try thats pretty good... uhh i advise you learn the program's shortcuts and try to model easier structures b4 attempting this if you have no experience in blender...
this isn't that hard its just SOOO LONG AND ANNOYING to do. I attempted to do this before i knew that one needs edge flow to animate sooo i just have this very pretty 3d head that does nothing... :D
this really help me with my modeling. would love to see how you model the body.
If you decide to be so ignorant as to ask for a tutorial on the tutorial video itself, at least ask it in a proper and polite way. You're talking to a professional.
Hello sir how to add this cub
Its not showing on system
Sir/mam
Please exted time of this video .so that we can take good advantage and make a beautiful 3d character design .have a nice day
masahiro! :D thanks for responding for my request video :D its clearer domo arigatou gozaimasu!
LOL disregard my comment, I looked on the editable poly command menu and found it. :P
I am trying to model a human head actually. I am using Lightwave 2018.0.6 on Macbook Pro High Sierra
I'm really interested in how you captured the process of modeling and put into video. Did you just replay the mel script some how?
it was awsome skill 11 years ago. but now i am using meta human😂😂
@kumitetom @kumitetom if u hate people they will hate you too jelous..
Please make a tutorial about this head modelling
Wow, I can't talk right now because this is awesome and inspiration to my entire life. I love it, I'm really, really mean it.
Anyone know the soundtrack?
the software is maya
but the software doesnt matter
Amaël Tertrais its like I said "the software doesnt matter". cause the software are very similar. you can do this with the free 3d software blender too.
but you must learn for this and can do this. its not the software its the person.
OverDev Company, that is the most important.
laag jet blender.org free
hey man i completely agree with u. well said
but for sure
cg matter
It amazes me how many people think this IS a tutorial. Tutorials explain how things are done, so that you may learn from it. This merely shows the process without any explanation to it. This is the equivalent to a "speed paint" when it comes to drawing (versus a "drawing tutorial"). Something can be learned, perhaps. But only if you already have a good grasp on what's being done here. A tutorial would take you through steps, so if you weren't too sure you could (hopefully) learn.
she is pretty )
how can i record and make video like you Masahiro san? What were you using for changing poly with a camera stand still.... teach me plz
Make a long tutorial please
Can I do it with Autodesk 3ds max 11 ?
This is become my Study
it looked like a little girl at first
You know you're bad at this if you have to watch the slower version at .25 lol.
Hello, good job. How did you shape / scale multiple polygons together (eyes, cheeks, nose and chin)? Lattice tool, scale ...? Thank you.
Greetings.
Wow! this taught me how to make a Head from a circle rather than a cube :D Thanks a lot!
0:48 does anyone know how this operation was performed here? It seems like some sort of smoothing or proportional editing but I can't tell without seeing the UI
how to gain this power?
What is the software called
i try to follow this, im using 3DS max, but when i cut a plane like the video, sometimes it doesn't cut properly, i use edit mesh then i use cut on it. Should i switch to maya, or may i use other edit option that's not edit mesh?
Just five times? lol, don't give up, modeling takes a lot of time and practice. As for the technique, it's pretty common. Using a technique is not an issue. Copying someone else's character design is a totally different thing. Only time using a technique is bad is if it's supposed to be secret which the artist wouldn't show anyway.
I even downloaded the video, put it in frame by frame mode, but i don't know how he rounded the face..... sorry for my ignorance... i'm a newbie at this :(
THE SONG IS THE BEST
pretty sure this is made in maya. but the concepts are the same in any 3d program, edge loops and evenly spaced topology
mastery
Dude, I've just modeled two eyeballs when this video is done..
that was fuckin sick
I'm a total nooblet to 3ds Max (but not 3D), so how did he create the cuts for additional surface geometry?
can i do similar with 3ds max? Or is Maya better? I'm planing to make a game, thought I'd use 3ds max for the character models/animation and those environments will be done using maya cause imo Maya does better with explosions and stuff. Is it possible to merge? and fyi I'm using the havok engine + udk unreal
beautiful you are?
nice anime style modeling, but doesnt look like a good approach for realistic human head
i still can reply to your message, please unlock you contacts then send me a message so that i can reply
Can you imagine what this person can do if he had a quantum computer. He could probably make it look like you are looking into a mirror.
can you guys tell me how did he do the 0:49 - 0:50 part? i'm a newbie at 3d can someone help me? please?
Thanks😍💖
@Rafemisora Np :) Umm i dont use Maya, i use Softimage, but in that program you can change the colour if you like- im sure its the same in Maya since they both have similar features :)
how many time did you spent doing this video? great video.
nice work
the what now
PAnis!!!
is this maya?
I wonder how the video itself it's done. I would like very much to replicate this for a portfolio. Does anyone know?
maya 09?!?
Excellent ! It would fit well with Daft Punk music too :-)
Doesnt have to be quantom PC to make it look real . Can be any pc but need to know how real life works :)
Is that lightwave? O.o well, i guess you can follow with maya, blender, or 3dmax too xD
what
Little tip: This was modelled in orthogonal mode, it gave me a lot of headaches until I found out!
nice . but please make it slower so we can understand something
good work! you are very artistic and professional made a human face!) and
what music plays in this video?)
nice.
after 0:50, this gonna complicated
what software did he use? i just want to know, the head is possible to build in maya by experience
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA OH AHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I NEED THAT AHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Autodesk Maya
seriously?... who the hell would dislike this?!..
Oh and btw, the uploader is a 3D-modeling teacher in Japan. aka professional.
I disagree... I think the impressive moment was the whole video =]
Thanks,I think I actually modeled satisfactory head earlier today. I can also shape it any way I want it cause it is low poly.
You are absolutely amazing.
Can you teach us the whole tutorial? Please. 🙏
WHY do you upload video with such speed?? Its madness and stupidness....
you should have made a time lapse of you creating this slow reproduction
holyyyyyyyyy wow
Mr Price (Blender Guru) shared this on facebook, it's amazing! It deserves more likes, so Im gonna add it to my fav's/like!
I don't think he smoothed it
it looked like he adjusted the vertices/edges
I really love it, can u help me to learn being like u in using 3rd max?
hiideg l blaa
this look good.. wish there's full toturial...
I need to start learning to model heads
