It's hilarious just how uncomfortable this old woman is with the idea of the Irish language.
She repeatedly called it a dead language but but offers up now explanation that the reason why the language is dying is because of British colonization and british oppression of Irish culture.

Hi, thank you for listening to the review and for your feedback, I hope you enjoyed the film and the way it is showing people like me that Irish is not a dead language but is finding new means of expression and pushing back those preconceptions of how the Irish language is used in a modern Ireland.

It’s an Irish film that was the whole point. The point of the film is the Irish language is not dead but needs to be spoken by young people in a way they can relate. The film was funded by both the Republic and screen Ireland northern Ireland. It’s the name of the language just is Irish or Gaeilge not Gaelic

Hello, thank you for watching our review, we really appreciate any feedback we get. I'll use Irish to describe the language from now on, it's important to get that sort of thing right. We hope you enjoyed the film and hearing the language used in such a vibrant way.
Thanks again from Sharon & the team at Netflix Vs Cinema.
