Great video! Agree with a lot of these picks, though I still gotta play the Ori games! Honestly wild that a collection of 3D Mario remasters took my favorite game for 2020, but guess that goes to show either how great those three games (which still lacks the best one) are or how slow 2020 was lol. 2019 - Super Mario Maker 2 / Just Dance 2020
2020 - Animal Crossing: New Horizons / Puyo Puyo Tetris 2
2021 - Mario Party Superstars / New Pokemon Snap
2022 - Pokemon Scarlet & Violet / Splatoon 3
2023 - The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom / Super Mario Bros. Wonder
2024 - Princess Peach: Showtime! / Mario VS. Donkey Kong
Nice to see Theatrhythm Final Bar Line this high up on the 2023 list. That game basically covered 2023 with the amount of dlc songs stretching from February to November.

2017: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. No competition whatsoever.
2018: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Super Mario Party was REALLY close, as it's my favorite Mario Party, but you just can't beat Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
2019: Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD. It's a miracle (NOT) that 40 of the minigames were removed, because most of them (DO NOT) suck........Just kidding, that game frickin' sucks. It's Super Mario Maker 2. The endless replayability and online modes make me revisiting this game almost constantly!
2020: Paper Mario: The Origami King. HOT TAKE: I think it's the best game in the series. The combat is really fun, the characters are charming, a lot of scenes are tear-jerking masterpieces, man, it's so GOOD!
2021: Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania. It's my 2nd favorite game of all time. It takes the classics and reinvents it to make it feel like a modern experience, and the minigames are at their BEST.
2022: Sonic Frontiers. I frickin' love this game. It takes Sonic and puts him into an open world. Plus, the updates this game got are so frickin' good.
2023. Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Yeah, this is EASILY my favorite 2D game ever. Every time I revisit it, it is so much fun. I played as Luigi for the entire playthrough, and he's been my favorite character to play as ever since.
So, the Switch is most likely ending soon, and man, are there some doozies this thing has to offer!
Here's hoping that this year will have some bangers! Also, I'm hyped for Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble, it's my most anticipated game of this year.

2017: I play this game the most to this day.
2018: My first switch game ever and was the better option than Super Mario Party IMO.
2019: I still play this game a lot and was so much fun!
2020: I played this recently and was my first Paper Mario game ever, and I liked it decently well.
2021: Fun and quirky title that deserves more love and attention for what it is and can be in the hands of any given player.
2022: 2nd best videogame in the HISTORY of gaming for me.
2023: While I love RPG's more than platformers, I wanted a new 2D Mario for years because New Super Mario Bros. on the DS was my very first videogame I EVER played, so 2D Mario holds the most nostalgia in my heart, and seeing this game made overjoyed for a game like NEVER BEFORE!
