@@gracieg7601 he had many other health problems, & was prescribed all those pills, & Dr Nick was to blame for over prescribing
Elvis has the mind set like my mama did she thought if a doctor prescribed the pills then it was safe no matter how many you took,and they didnt tell you back then thay you could get hooked,and if they did there was no treatment only cold Turkey, wished he could have been weened .

Poor, Elvis. Colonel Tom Parker pushed him so hard without much rest in order to milk every last cent from the King. I think Elvis would still be with us today if his manager hadn't abused him.

Yeah and Parker made more money than Elvis ,he got his 50% split with Elvis and then made money on the concessions and vendors selling memorabilia , programs ,shirts etc ,I've never once heard of Parker being generous like Elvis was he would take his money and go piss it away in the casinos ,he was a real scumbag and con man .

@@susyq810 Elvis was so talented they were glad to work for him but it wasn’t all about money like some of the people act like. One of those drummers that filled in fir Ronnie on last minute notice, said he did it free cause it was so exciting to work with him even for a one or two night show that he didn’t care about the money.

Yes Tom copied that dance.I was friends with Charlie for 8 years after Elvis died n told me all about the people in Elvis life.In a interview Tom( always said he was good friends with Elvis)said Elvis was not a good singer n had very bad posture when performing. What a friend I think not.

I watched a documentary on youtube last night about Jerry Lee Lewis driving up to the gates of Graceland and got out of his car waving a gun and calling for Elvis to come outside and prove once and for all who is the king of rock 'n roll! Needless to say he was arrested.... oh my word Jerry, you are good and you play piano very well... but you can't ever hold a candle to Elvis. You don't have his magnificent voice, nor his looks or charisma or attraction. Jerry must have been so jealous of Elvis all his life. 🤔

He & Elvis, Cash, Perkins toured together in the 50s.
He was the Killer, & the likes of Chuck Berry , little Richard, never wanted to follow him, his show was wild, one time set piano on fire.
