Nice video, man! For the diabell effect, you should add the deception and reactivated for the burn effect part as long as there's an azamina fusion monster on the field. Also, you should try the Azamina Determination trap card if you want to do the Azamina boss line.
@@longface101 I play unleashing because it’s searchable by both the azamina and wf engines with the best effect - I wouldn’t add more search targets cuz it would be bricks
At 10:12 I am curious as to why you didn’t use Deception to tribute the Diabellstar and add either Azette or Unleashing since Deception can search for any Azamina card. From my understanding, there was no immediate plan for keeping the Diabellstar. It would play into Ghost Ogre and prevent you from getting an Omni on field to insulate to Elzette, but Ogre isn’t to commonly run right now. Even if it was stopped, they would have to have a fourth handtrap in grip for the Elzette, and we still have Lacrima in hand and a normal summon to use it on. I love your videos and always find them insightful, so I’m curious to your thought process here, thanks!
@@RoanWitchArt in that game I believed that he had no more hand traps based on him using two and then not interacting again later - that means I can connect to any of my search targets whenever I want, and those are the scenarios where it doesn’t really matter when or how you get to certain cards So the advantage of keeping a monster on field as opposed to searching a spell or trap would be to use it as one of two materials for closed heaven for the fiendsmith line Ofc if he continues to show that he has no interactions it doesn’t matter how I do it
your builds are very solid and a good starting point for my exploration with this deck, i am interested in trying this deck for the SUDA season, and debating bringing it to orlando. the non engine consideration to beat the meta is an issue with any deck, but the non engine spread really doesnt feel super real for a competitive environment. breakers are powerful but i dont think you can afford to run full breakers
@@ericpontarelli1690 re non engine: goat manhandles the ryzeal matchup because you just call detonator and their primary interruption is now useless Talents is typically live early against ryzeal because of detonator so it and thrust work well against ryzeal. Droplet is better in the toy version because there are additional value sends, whereas the millennium cards have to resolve to give you the extra bodies for sends What’s a harder problem to solve is for the same non engine to do well against malice: for example, eclipse is great against ryzeal both sides of the dice roll, but it’s only good against malice when you go first
@@BimYGO yeah the theory behind your non engine is very very solid and it feels great to goat shut off detonator but with Fiendsmith cards too it just seriously feels like too much. Proh need to do a 50/50 split on some handtraps too, or maybe at least chummies
wanted doesn't shuffle back the sinful spoils card but puts it on the bottom of the deck, so you won't be drawing deception of it (of course if you just play 1 copy that is)
Thanks for sharing what you’re thinking every hand and what your objective is at each point of the “combo”. It really helps me a lot!
Great video as always!
