I'm a Tendo fanboy, and you allowed to be weirded out by him. That's his schtick when playing. Like Tsukki, he likes playing mind games when physically playing too, only he's more vocal. He's my second favorite character of the whole series honestly. Dude's hilarious.

I'm just wondering. When Receivers touch ushijima serve sound like bombs and the ball fly so far. But when ushijima serve and hit the net, the net even barely budge and the ball doesn't bounce back hahaha idk just my thought the net is much stronger 😂
I take it you’ve never played before but that’s actually a very realistic scenario. Even though the net is under tension it absorbs the momentum of the ball much more efficiently than a persons arm. Plus the angle at which the ball hits the net, with the top spin of the ball, plus you’re typically not expecting it to hit the net so you aren’t able to react fast enough… there’s definitely physics involved. It may be over exaggerated a tad because it’s an anime but that does happen in real volleyball.

I was just wondering but why on the game the ball doesn't have much more power when it hits the net but on the shortbreak clip where he was praticing serving, he hits the ball with the same power and hit the net and the net did absorb all the momentum of the ball but the ball flew so far it hits the water bottle from the other side of the court. I know it's an anime and most of the aren't very realistic. I used to be a volleyball player wingspiker and also a lefty just like ushijima for only two years. But I do agree with your comment 😁
