Having been a diver when I was younger, before most divers had dive computers, I love the fact that the bezel is larger than the watch as it makes it much easier to turn when wearing neoprene gloves, a great design feature IMHO.
I have the blue version and I love it. The blue of the dial and bezel are really close.I like the way the bezel sticks out from the case. I got it on the light brown leather strap and man I think its perfect. For me its a keeper 😃

This is a really nice vintage styled diver. I like the overhang. The minute hand might take a little getting used to - it's pretty large. And although the polished sides may be era correct, I'd prefer brushed sides. I also think the unsigned crown and plain back are era-correct. In fact, I like the plain caseback. I look at those as a blank csnvase for some nice engraving.
As much as I love baltany, those ugly hands ruin this watch for me. Also, I think applied indeieces would be better. The yellow (faux patina) is getting over played.
DON'T buy a baltany watch. My baltany watch completely failed after wearing it 4 times. I contacted baltany requesting their address so I could ship it to them to be repaired / replaced, it has a 2 year warranty. They refused to provide their shipping address and said to have it serviced locally, despite the movement completely failing. Unbelievable, they are NOT a legitimate company. I just ate $150, it went right down the drain !
Great review. Hands down the only Sub Homage I would purchase. I personally like that they went away from the traditional Rolex hands. Thanks again!

I agree about the caseback. The unsigned crown is also not a deal breaker. The minute hand is at least easy to spot.

I’m caught in between this retro diver and the seestern SeaQ S434 . How do they compare on the quality and finishing?
They are very different watches look wise. But if I had to choose one on build quality only, I would go for the S434
