the SUV fuel tanks are 26 gal primary and 10 gal secondary for a total capacity of 36 gal but we do offer a 30 gal rear tank option for a total of 56 gal and a drive range of 1000 mi+
No Dodge, this is a "DuraBurb Series" as the client wanted to retain the Q-Steer but have an HD look so he went with a 3" body lift and an Sierra HD grille kit. The TowPro gets the 11.5" HD rear differential.
Great looking SUV's and I love the sleeper style of the vehicles. I would definitely purchase one if i had the money. What exhaust set ups do you run on these vehicles, it looks like a 5" set up.
The only financing that would be open to you would be what is available on your SUV, we don't have any way to finance builds in house. Yes the typical build cost parts & labor is 15-17K and the std Yukon would be the same as the Tahoe or Escalade you can view on our channel by clicking on DuraBurbinc in blue next to any of our videos.
Actually if you want we will ship it in for you, If you go new and want a new drive train we have found the cheapest way to do it is to use a new P/U and convert it back to gas and sell it off, then the running gear only cost the net loss on the sale of the P/U truck. approx 22-25K. used are usually 10-12K
Sure we build one of these typically every 6 weeks or so in between all the other SUV's rolling through the shop at a rate of 5 SUV's per month. How much varies on the donor mileage and when it is built, this was done almost 2 years ago but in todays 2012 money its around 18K+/- on your Quadrasteer SUV
Wow! Thats all I can say. I have a low mileage 2005 Yukon XL1500 2wd, but I live in CA. We now have to smog our diesels anything from 1998 and newer, have you dealt with any of california's ridiculous smog laws with your conversions? If I was to ship my truck to you to have the Duramax/4x4/11" rear conversion done, what would that cost?
So will you still convert 2000-2006 Yukon XL/Suburban 2500s, including quadrasteers, into Duraburbs? I'm seeing kind of conflicting responses in your comments. Thanks
No we stop at 2003, the beginning of the GMT800 GEN II which is compatible with the 2006-2007 LBZ Duramax, the 2000-2002 are GMT800 GEN I and only 2001-2002 LB7 compatible.
LOL Send us your SUV and we will gladly fill it up for you, just don't be surprised when we are done with it you start finding an extra 200 miles of travel between fill ups :-D Its a normal anomaly
if I had one and the money you guys would be my only choice for the conversion, i'm so impressed with the work put into these trucks. An 06 Tahoe with the hd front clip and a 600 horse lbz and built trans... ya ill keep dreaming.. ya'll should build one and give it away... great work on the trucks, love seeing em'
Hmmm, very sorry if someone in sales dropped the ball on you. I can tell you we no longer support the 2000-2002 (GENI) SUVs however they do accept trades at sales, just contact Brenda @ 407-257-9657

Its about 1500-3000 more over a standard 3/4 ton 2500 build. A Tahoe with 450HP/700FTlb is a blast to drive
No,GM never offered it.
They offered the 8.1 through 2006 as a tow option.
Yes it makes navigating parking lots a snap and its a Dana60 so it can take the what the Duramax can dish out.
Dude... Badass
very well made video :D
Need to do an HD Sierra front clip on that baby!!
You & me both brother!!
My dream truck

The quadrasteer units hold up great all the way to 450HP but that's the limit as it is Dana 60. Built trans and twins will tare it up.

This one was 5" but the 4" we typically use is sufficient for up to 600HP
What brand do you typically run? And is this a straight pipe or does it come with a muffler
We use Diamond Eye or MBRP
They are sweet
i wish i had one of these!!! i love the qudrasteer on it, does that suv have the tow pro series on it?

Badass. Just curious if you remember what the suspension setup was? It was obviously modified.
unmodified, the 2500 SUV and 2500-3500 P/U share the exact same front suspension
i want one like this

Im gunna own 1 some day

That would be wild but the engine bay isn't long enough :(
I wish i could do this to a short wheel base yukon... what would the cost look like?
so if i bought a new suburban i just bing it in and you swap the engine and transmission
We can be found on Google maps with all our contact info.
typically folks spend around 15-17K to build.
Folks generally spend around 15-17K to turn key their SUV into a Dmax
how large is the fuel tank on the swap? 44 gal or 42
I thought they made dmax suburban back in 02
you guys should put a duramax in a gmc envoy
how does one go about purchasing a duraburb? I WANT ONE!!!!!!
If i have a 2004 8.1l suburban what would be an estimate for the cost of the engine and the build?
Can you do this to a basic Yukon? Not a xl. And you gonna want that 15-17 k straight up or financing available? Freaking A I want that!
