This is the series I've been waiting for! I have an 04 1500, would a conversion work the same or are they different frames?
I believe it would be the same, I think the 2500 frames are a little more beefy but I bet it would still bolt in.

the drive shaft ended up being about 47.5" center to center on u joints. Yes! He's in Idaho! I am sending him my lines this week and will have more info soon!

Did you swap cab harness or run new wires?
For the body? Keep the suburban body harness and run a few wires to dash

I know of a giy who worked at my workplace sabo auto body named Rob who has an suv jusy like this same color same wheels.
Unless it gets -25F where you live, you probably don't need glow plugs on any newer diesel. Most modern diesels run high enough compression to start without any help.
True, they definitely start pretty easy even after sitting in the cold for a while
What did you have to do for the engine mounts?
Use the LBZ motor mounts and brackets

@@PndaS2k Re-wire a few things and body lift are the 2 main things, the rest comes from the truck!

Actually the hoods are the same, the grill and bumpers are different. I've been looking for a set used but they are hard to find in good condition

What's the tow rating now? I got a 2500 with 4.10 gears and the 6.0 and it's rated at 10.3k lbs
