Thanks for making great content Vern. I've signed up for the Sydney to Gold Coast next year and really looking forward to it. That's thanks to your videos on it mate.
Love your movies Vern. I literally just got home from riding the Nowendoc -> Wingham track ending my 600km loop today. Can’t wait to join a Aussie Bike or Hike ADV ride, I did my license with those great guys. Cheers mate. Keep up the awesome UA-camr / Vlogger content. Hehe.
Thanx for talking us in that awesome Landscape! Also well picked Route through it! What Maps are you riding? Looking forward to the next one! Ride safe Mate! 🍀🙏🍀 All the best! Carsten 🇩🇪
My dad lived on Nowendoc road just out of Wingham for 15 years. Great country side there. Just have to watch out for some of the drivers around there, they use the local roads as race tracks on both sides of the road.
Great work as I've come to expect. Well done. Is it my eyes or is there something wrong with your Garmin v bike? The temperature on the Garmin was showing 14 and you said the bike was showing 4.......at least one of them is wrong...unless it's your eyes😁
The bike picks up the temperature going into the airbox, and it's somewhat accurate. The temperature on the Garmin is whatever weather station is closest. That temperature is going to be more accurate, just not in the same location. They're usually pretty similar, but I would be going with the bike's temp on this occasion. It was probably about 14 down near Moonan, but as soon as we entered the Tops, it was seriously cold!
If it snowed down to 1200m in the Barrington, I wonder what it was like at Polblue (~1500m), the highest point in the Barrington? RV friendly normally means they have a grey and blackwater dumping pit somewhere around the town and potentially a overnight stop point.
I've had a GoPro Max for years. I haven't used it much lately because it's a massive time suck, but it does create some nice angles. I just strugglle to have the time to incorporate it in.
If you're keen on this ride, check out the details here and 2025 dates: bit.ly/GreatDivideTour

Thanks mate. Credit for the well picked route goes to the crew at Aussie Bike or Hike. They find the most stunning roads out there!

Yeah, I've encountered a couple of drivers in the other direction carrying a bit of speed.

Looks like a great ride. The Firs is 90 mins from my place I might have to take a ride up and get a shot of my bike in amongst the trees.
You can probably sneak up there when nobody else is there too.
@@MotoRidesAustralia yep a nice mid week run up the mountain.
Good to see him get on bike straight away mum not so much ide say
There's more to that story to come in time. At the moment the story is not complete, at least until he is out of the moon boot.

I need to explore more of the Barrington Tops. I haven't been up to Polblue, is it accessible by bike?
@@MotoRidesAustralia totally. Easy
East to West over to scone.
@@MotoRidesAustralia there is even a campground. Go from Gloucester to Barrington, up to Polblue and down to Moonan Flat.
What’s the sweeper rider doing passing you 😮
I'm special 😜
I'm actually on comms with them during the ride.
When are you going to try a 360 camera?
