So awesome to see you and your Dad doing this together. My Dad and I always talked about doing a fly in but we never got the chance before he passed. Remember these moments Jay.
You're outfishing your dad. I don't think i've ever done that in my life. Jason from Alberta, Canada.. Nice to see you and your dad together. That's awesome, that's what Western Canada and fishing and hunting is about.
Jay..your so blessed on all the adventures and etc you have. I bet you've worked hard to get there, understanding wife in Sam and starting a new fam, I'm 59 and finally just this year got my first finder as in a Garmin 4, and a K1 kayak, getting out now is the issue, so I thank you for your videos because if I can't do it I'm so glad I can watch you showing me the tricks..Thank you and keep being you..den
I'm really shocked that they don't put electric motors on those pontoons for small maneuvers. Love the content Jay, when do we get updates on the outpost?
Jay could you do a video on finding summer lake trout for jigging? Spent a week at my in-laws cabin on Arrow Lake SW of Thunder Bay and got my butt kicked. Would like to see how you break down a new lake for Lakers.
Love the videos, another great one! I'm new to fishing, been mostly targetting brook trout in small streams and creeks. I've always read to avoid touching the gills, but I've noticed with a lot of larger fish, it seems to be a common way to hold them. Is there a certain size where it doesn't harm the fish to handle them by the gills?
you should come to alberta there are some pretty good lakes for fishing, I had a lake lot and caught 3 of my personal bests out of that lake, 4lb yellow belly perch, 59 1/2cm northern pike and a 48 1/2cm walleye
Anyone have a good suggestion on a lodge to visit with guides between Wawa and Thunderbay? I'm going in August and looking for suggestions. Looking for a hot spot for fishing with the kids. TIA

I got a catfish rod and I’m wondering if that will be good to catch lake trout it’s a 8’ medium and can have up to 30lb of line on it
Jay could we please get a welfare check on uncut Aaron
Keep on making these bangers
Good stuff
Nice !
Superb
Is that a barbless lake or can you use barbs on your hook?
A lot less damage to the fish with that large net i like it for that purpose. Less damage to there fins and tails .

What’s the reason 65+ don’t have to pay?
Official retirement age. AB and Sask do the same with their fishing licenses.
That's no trout, but some sort of "Saibling" !
