hey buddy, Great video. Finally go to watching it. So busy these days. All mine are metal tops. I am surprised yours is plastic. I made some 2 inch shims for my hives. I agree they should have one. The way I treated with OA was a bit different. I close the bottom with varroa tray and hit it from the front and closed it. I used the plastic tip for Apimaye hives. Lorabees has those for sale. It works great for me. I may make a video on this next time I treat in a month or so. God bless!
Thanks for the video. First year beekeeping for me and I had two HiveIQ boxes. Lost one hive to robbing (pre-treatment). I bought a oav wand from Amazon and just finished my 3rd treatment. I had to “test” on my empty hive but was able to get the wand in the entrance and then rest it on the inner metal grate at the bottom. So far so good

Instead of coring out a box, would it be possible to do your OA treatment through the bottom screen? Cut a hole in the political sign and have the treatment come up through the floor?
