Listen to this man! I started keeping bees just a year ago with a teeny-tiny queen-less swarm that I rescued from the water meter box in front of my house. Bill was out of queens but generously sold me a custom queen from one of his own hives! I have followed his advice all year and the results are clear: my tiny swarm of less than 3 frames of bees not only survived last winter but has now grown into a behemoth of 20 deep and 20 shallow frames packed with bees, brood, and honey. Total honey harvest for this first year is 131 lbs! And they’ve still got several pounds still in the hive. Proof that Bill knows his stuff!
The HiveIQ hives are also performing well in the colder Pacific Northwest. Woods Bees in Centralia, Washington has a review video that is similar to this one.

Nice video ❤
Cool
I didn't know that you could keep the mite treatment on there when you have the honey super on. Do you treat for mite all year?
The correct mite treatment can go into a hive when honey supers are on. We only treat when necessary.
Bill--great vid! Do you also sell the correct paint for Hive IQ? Is a special type of paint or the same as for wood??
2 coats exterior paint water base can be picked up at any home center store.
Exterior Paint is all you need. We do a good double coat.
Father’s Day 🤔
I can tell you now up north the poly give it a better hive no comparison
