Thanks. This is a premade brush on midfire glaze available from fired up kilns locally (Australia) . It's called eucalyptus and I have used an extra layer around the rim so it has a bit of movement. The interior is a clear. I like the contrast.
Lovely (and practical!) pot ❤. I picked up your comment right at the end of the video about making it easier to add water to the reservoir pot…. a good idea but an access hole would lose water via evaporation……. so I will copy your design as is 👍🏼. Thank you for such clear instructions..
This is great. I am, today, just finishing up making some African Violet pots which is a similar concept. I have pepperomia plants that I cannot seem to water enough so this would be a great solution for those. Definitely going to make this when I'm back in the studio tomorrow.
Great design! 🤩I have made planters with a saucer attached but this looks so chic and fantastic! I love the glaze! Eucalyptus ? Is that made by someone? Or your recipe? Any way- highly impressed with the whole planter 🌟 Thank you for sharing 🙏🙏
Thanks. Yes Eucalyptus is mid-fire glaze available here in Australia from a supplier called fired up Kilns as part of their Australian Bush range. You are most welcome.
Such a great project! Really enjoyed your process with the detailed instructions. Love this glaze, do you mind sharing the color?

Definitely add an exposed lip to the reservoir for easy filling.
Beautiful work and I love the glaze color!
