Great vid!!! These are 3 bottles i drink all the time. I call JDSBBP my daily sipper. I got hooked on drinking high proof with OF 1920 and Rare Breed. I've never blinded them against each other but now i'm going to have to. I would think my order would be: JDSBBP, Rare Breed, and then OF 1920. But i'm going to find out for sure.

Great video. I’d add Russell’s single barrel and Knob Creek 120 proof to this list but good choices
Both are great, but RSB not available in my area. I travel for work, so I'm able to keep some on the shelf
OF 1920 is my favorite bottle. A bottle that pushes it a little is Knob Creek SBR 9 yr.
Going to do this blind for Father’s Day.
I love all three. Just bought a case of JDSBBP since it's once of my fav's when I can find it.

These are all great especially considering availability and price; however, I don't know if you can beat Buffalo Trace and Wild Turkey 101 as daily drinkers.... also, these are all high in proof and its hard to imagine lol, but there are people out there that prefer a daily drinker with not such high proof...

I am just going to say that I obviously have a bad bar because I do not have, nor will I have OF 1920 on the shelf. It's OK, but I am not going to pay 70 bones for a bottle that gets beat handily by the other 2 in this blind, and the other 2 can easily be found for less than 60.
Where do y’all think Knob Creek SB 120 proof would place?
Probably last even though that is a great bottle.
I love all three of these bottles. But my favorite, at this moment, is the KCSiB 120.
In my market JD is $70, OF is 60 & WT is $57. Is JD worth $70? Nope, not to me. So between WT and OF it would be a toss up. I haven’t done a blind on these but my personal preference is WT, then OF, and then JD. I agree that any of these three could be my favorite depending on the day and what I am looking for on that day. Yes, JD can be a bit rough and tumble but it’s still really good. I wish it were in the $60 range as the other two are (in my market). Rare Breed is sweet and tasty without any burn. Everybody raves about 1920. I get it. However, I still prefer Rare Breed.

It is just how it works with resetting our palates. I agree I think it was close the first time with Rare Breed a little ahead and then the second go through it was close between the two!

So that would be a great bottle to add. But it is allocated in our area so we choose not to add any bottle that was allocated.
I’m gonna be the outlier here. I don’t like 1920. It tastes harsh and young. Trust me, I love high proof whiskey. I just think it’s nothing more than an internet darling. Rare Breed and JD SiBBP are rockstars (while still being internet darlings). The 1920 just flat sucks to me. Sorry not sorry.
