Time Codes :
00:00 Intro
0:08 - Big Characters :
In arcade mode while selecting your character hold Select and press X
0:37 - Big Head Mode :
Hold the select button while choosing your character, continue holding it until the match
begins
1:06 - Fight as Alex :
Highlight Roger and Press Circle
1:24 - Fight as Angel :
Highlight Devil and Press Circle
1:43 - Different Colors :
Press start when choosing a character.
2:14 - Wire frame mode :
Unlock all characters, then hold L2 + L1 while selecting your character. Keep holding them
until the match begins.
2:51 - Plump Size Character :
Press and hold the select button before the "vs" screen appears.
Continue to hold the button until the match begins and your character will turn fat.
If you do this trick again, your character will be even fatter on the next match.
3:54 - Sky Mode :
Unlock all characters, then hold Select + Up when choosing a character. Keep holding them
until the fight begins.
4:21 - Theater Mode : ( Japanese Version )
After unlocking all twenty three characters, which includes the hidden characters, save the
game. Then, unplug controller two, if one is present. Put the memory card with the Tekken 2
saved game file in the slot one. Now when the text “Namco Presents” appears,
hold Up/Right + Select + Circle + X. If you entered the code correctly, a screen titled “Theatre
Tekken 2” with a list of game graphic files will appear.

I really miss when games had so much content that you unlocked just from playing or being good. Or knowing the codes. Instead of buying everything
As a teenager of the 90s I can proudly say I knew about all of these. Thanks to friends and gaming magazines.

I loved theatre mode… you could switch discs on T3 and T2 to check out all of the endings.
T1 also works.
The big head mode always made me laugh with the chipmunk voices, they should've bought it bk in 8 as a tribute

I love Tekken 2 ❤ the character select music always throws me back thinking about playing this game back in the days with good friends. We had so much fun and so many awesome battles. ✊🏼😃

You can run the PS1 discs of T1, T2. & T3 in a cd player and listen to the soundtracks of each game

You forgot arcade bgm music 😉 in options menu change music from stereo to mono and its arcade bgm also works on tekken 3 never tried tekken 1 possibly the same
There were no Unreal no Unity no Blender yet they were so much fun and unique
Asking does this work for the PS1 version of the game, mine are the US version and using Duckstation emulator
The Theater Mode? Apparently only works on Japan Version
@@gameworldid I mean like all secret code because codes like big head, big characters, and Kazuya third outfit doesn't seem to work for me, just to make sure again I'm using USA version 1.1 of Tekken 2 on a PS1 emulator "Duckstation" because I'm scared that different version or some emulation problem cause all cheats to be disable
@@Snansy I tried on both version USA 1.1 and the Japan version too, so I think it's not the problem, try to update the Emulator or play it without cheat from it

Angel and Alex aren't really secrets, they're just alternate costumes.
In most Japanese games, there is no Master Cheat where you unlock everything.
They make sure you earn everything fair and square.
That theatre cheat is so cool! I wonder why it’s Japanese only

Or for theater mode just use tekken 3 theater then switch disc.I think that's how you do it has been a long time lolz.

How to download tekken 2 in Android phone?
The real question is, how WOULD you be able to play Tekken on an Andriod phone. I tried it myself sometime ago and it was rather difficult to control, but if you know an easier way, I'd like to know

Tekken 3 might have better modes and graphics but man...Tekken 2 is my favourite. 🖤 The atmosphere, the aesthetic...it was so much fun. And I'm just gonna go ahead and say it...Tekken 2 has the greatest soundtrack we ever got in a Tekken game.😤 I know a few of the tracks are remade/redone tracks from T1. But the T2 versions are 10x better than the T1 tracks. And boy oh boy do the vibes hit you much harder in Tekken 2.🥲
I only uploaded michelle, Jun and Nina theme on earlier videos you can check them, and yea they are nostalgic and Tekken 2 was my first Tekken which I played on Arcade
