She is also technically Tekken's first female final boss, provided you're playing as Devil.
Angel is the ugliest, most annoying and shallow idiotic character. It's really in fact incredibly shallow and misfortunate you can choose Angel and be completely disinterested in such a superfluously boring character finding out she is the stupidest character in all of Tekken franchise and how they kept this completely open of how completely ugly and utterly nonsensical she is. It's so perfectly lame. She is trash! Of course there is actually no need to be an Angel to be a counter to the Devil since Kazuya is actually the "good form" of the Devil. She is there waiting to be another waste of slot in the game! How blantantly redundant, ridiculously expected, awfully thought and horrid is that.

Does Angel's ending imply all of the fighters were killed/trapped by Devil and then decided to assist purging him while being freed afterwards?
It's not canon but I think you are onto something.
Angel's mission is simply to purge evil while her noncanon ending was to prevent Devil's corruption among the 10 fighters
I hope we'll see Angel again in later iterations of Tekken as a playable character. There's so much mystery around her, but we still don't have any answers to what she is and what her origins are.
You kinda see a hint from Devil Jin as to her origins so she must be from Kazama power
Well she's obviously an opposite of the Devil, so where ever Devil is from, Angel is from the opposite. I guess.

Second thing: Sky mode is basically everyone is chubby and gravity is barely existent.
Screw the ground I'll be flying instead like a boss and the a.i will be jumping on the moon to dodge laser beam and of course they don't have side step at the time until TK3 noted laser beams deals ton of damage either ground or jumping

For all the people asking about the big heads, it's a cheat, just like sky high mode. The sky high mode cheat can't be activated without also activating the big head mode cheat.

Also, was Angel ever “canon”? As in, she’s supposed to be a character that actually did something in regards to the Devil Gene/Kazuya? I remember reading she was the representation of Kazuya’s good side but since the story marched forward without any mention of Angel, I’m guessing she wasn’t canon in the end.
I thought jun was angel I was wrong then
I dont think she's canon anymore because of the Retcon they did with the whole Devil Gene BS. Ever since T4 Angel pretty much poofed.
That said, the potential to bring her back has been there since the introduction of Asuka, which is Jun's replacement.
Notice how Jun had the ability to calm and was hinted to have some sort of angelic power. This is made obvious with Asuka in 5. If they decided to rewrite the story and put the Devil Gene that came from Kazumi, they can easily slap Angel on the other end of the family by some opposite gene or something related to the Kazama family and their weird healing powers.
It's the perfect excuse to bring Angel back. Until then, I dont think she will ever come back (Sadly) until another Tag Tourney game now that she doesn't really have place in the story.
Kazuya completely consumed Devil. There's many speculations, manifestation of his good side, Angel trying to pull him back or eventually giving up once he completely merged with Devil, Etc.
The story has a lot of plot holes and isn't entirely consistent anymore.
As far as I know, Angel was "forged" in Kazuya by Jun so that he could have even a small chance to stand against Devil
And as Jun died, I guess Angel died too
In TTT we got Jun back, but corrupted by that spirit
In TTT2 we still got Jun back and in that case she was free even in 'the Unknown' form. As influence of the Spirit was no more then Angel's returned
Or.... TTT games are not canon and that is all crap

I don't think Angel will ever make a canon appearance again, for a couple of reasons. Kazuya lost any shred of good in him years ago and Angel was from a time when Devil was the result of Kazuya literally selling his soul to an actual devil, not the result of an inherited genetic trait.
