The return of my note 7 was fine as i just had to hand it back to the retailer i bought it from, and got a refund on the spot. But the process for the replacement note 7 whats quite an inconvenient process as i had to wait in the store for about an hour for it to transfer all my data across. I do respect the effort Samsung showed throughout the recall though and i can't wait to get my hands on the S8
The design of the phone was fine. the only reason the batteries caught fire was because it was truly the batteries that had defects according to Samsung released investigation. So they pulled and iPhone. and a new custom battery would actually fix the issue since the battery was the issue.
