00:00 Intro
00:10 J. Cole's Apology
Imagine Kendrick sampled the apology in a dis track ☠
He’d become my goat if he does based on the pettiness alone
he wouldn’t
That would be low af
It’s gotta be the intro, the chorus, and the outro 🤣
Nah that's beneath him since it would still give Cole too much credit lol
Same energy as Macklemore winning a Grammy over Kendrick and sending him an apology text and posting it😂
nah not really cause macklemore never dissed kendrick beforehand. all he did was show love
@@readyaimfire3454yeah but it felt like pandering to post it… if he had privately told Kendrick than it would’ve felt more authentic but for him to publicly post it felt like to appease the public
Bro smacked his big bro and ran away screamin “I’m sorry I’m sorry I’m sorry”
if Kendrick just said fuck you and dropped another diss that'd be crazy lmao
cole really a prophet. titled an EP "might delete later" and said "the fall off is coming" both came true within weeks💀
Might Fold Later 💀
i wanna fold clothes for ya
I just can’t feel bad for anyone that claims to be number 1, and then folds INSTANTLY at the first sight of a real challenge. Rap is historically very competitive, you either step up or shut up.
I guess he was feeling conflicted ...
Some might say he was misusing his influence
@@pshceluver2899 You could even say that sometimes he did the same
Really, he was abusing his power, full of resentment
He realized what he did was wrong though. Why are we acting like that’s a bad thing? People constantly piss and moan about others not taking responsibility and maturing. But now someone is doing it, and it’s “weak” and “dumb” like what the hell do y’all want?
It’s more so about how Cole claimed he was the best of the best, that other rappers that were known as the best, or are (most Kendrick fans see him as the best despite his five year hiatus, I am one of them so I do have some bias), need to sit down and die out (musically) because he (Cole) believes his discography is better than Kendrick’s best and most notable work (To Pimp a Butterfly, Good Kid, M.A.A.D City, Damn, Section.80, etc.). He then dissed Kendrick’s latest album as well. Kendrick has never been about pop/radio hits. All of his albums have a theme and a story to tell, some people don’t get that. Especially when they are used to getting their music taste from the radio.
Cole overall tried to discredit Kendrick and downplay his artistry, talent, and social impact, and then immediately walked it back. I think people are upset about his inconsistency, especially since if he is of the “best,” then he should have stood by his work. Or at least had better disses
Plus it’s rap, you can’t just diss someone and then say sorry days after. If Cole never responded in the first place he would have came out of this looking a lot better. He literally slapped like a kid and ran away after
& he on We Still Don't Trust You 💀💀💀
i pray Kendrick forces this man to stand on his business 😭
honestly drake is the our only hope left, which is an unfortunate sentence
@@KingofDpirateswym “only hope left” like kendrick is the bad guy
@urkomagod fuckin forbid people have fun with stupid internet shit dude
@@mrb-btw he remembers you were feeling conflicted.
Kendrick predicted the future with that “I remember you was conflicted, misusing ya influence”
Edit: My dude in the comments roasted me too hard I had to correct my spelling lol
He did indeed ‘Delete Later’
Im not mad, just disappointed
Noel Miller HAS MANY AMOUNTS OF HAIR?!!?
I was wondering why he looked different lmao
What about hunter being on the album🗣🗣🗣
Hunter Biden?
Glad you guys are talking about this 🎉
Damn, Cole world 😔😔
Sad day to be a Cole fan
The album died 3 days in🤣
How did this mf get out rapped by the Canadian 💀💀💀
“It’s not that deep bro, even if you get bodied it’s fine bro” lmao, tell that to MGK. 😂
even with MGK no one in their right mind thought he'd win against eminem but if he had stood his ground people would still give him some props for taking it well which is the point
Mgk was a nobody before and after the eminem beef
J. Cole is just real, don’t know why he gets hate for it, he’s real enough to know his diss was lame I don’t know many rappers who would have that self awareness
That’s some *wiiiiild* meatriding there bud.
J Cole ruined his claim to being the best, which everyone believed in him as he said it in damn near every song. He also set a precedent ruining the competitive nature of rap, there hasn’t been an ‘MC superstar’ since Cole and Kendrick if you look at the current biggest rappers now, they’re not the most lyrical and certainly not from the ilk of competitive rap. Cole backing out is bad for hip hop.
If he knew his diss was lame he should've had the strength to not put it out at all. He embarrassed himself, a grown ass man succumbing to peer pressure. I am a cole fan, but other fans acting like this is anything short of an embarrassment gets on my nerves. He is not real.
@@toastready3961Diss track felt out of place and completely overshadowed the album. All I kept hearing about was the diss so I was genuinely surprised by Sticks n Stones and PI.
This is embarrassing
honestly the best take I've heard on this
I think his intentions were really genuine but being a "rapper" is an inherently performative career, bro kinda robbed himself of any credibility by doing this
But nothing for that weird ass line about trans people????
That’s what I’m saying.
that’s what i thought this video was gonna be about 😭
It's a lose-lose for J Cole. He responds and trashes Kendrick as his first true "beef" and he loses the main guy he would Collab with.. If he doesn't respond he's called a punk
cole really did delete later
I feel like what he put out was literally the best he had on Kendrick and when he saw the response he didn't have anything left so he tries to squash it early
Jcole was already doing promo for might deleted later before Kendrick’s verse on like that, and I think that’s why 7 minute drill sounds so different because it wasn’t originally on the album
Cole went on an ego trip, Kendrick was petty about it, Cole felt that he had to punch back, then realized he ain't really about it because there's no actual beef and decided to drop it, that's all there is to it. I didn't realize that hip hop fans have become as toxic as those people that worship pop stars but that's the cost of the genre being the most popular at the moment, it just comes by naturally
nah it was never personal, purely hip hop. everyone knows kdot and cole don't hate eachother we just wanted to see two of the best compete and get some good bars out of it. would've been so fun man
Buddy acting like people weren’t killing over rap before 😂😂😂
@@S1RT0RTUR3 they still do and it's fucking stupid. But it's not the rap itself that was getting them killed, it was the gang affiliations and criminal activity underneath. Lots of those people were criminals caught in the loop. These guys are multi millionaires, they are not affiliated to rival gangs, they probably want nothing to do with gangs, they afford a living 99% of americans cannot afford, why would they kill each other over words???
he should’ve apologized for being transphobic😔
fr. should’ve apologized for that ignorant bar but double down on the diss
Everything Noel said is totally true, especially at the end. The only way for Cole to recover from this is if Kendrick goes at him again so then he can be like "alright since you want it that bad..." And honestly that would be Kdot saving him from even more embarrassment.
J cole actually deleted later
Kendrick hits him with the Walter white “we’re done when I say we’re done” evil stuff
I REMEMBER YOU WAS CONFLICTED
ok but meatcanyon on huntin wabbits
Bro no one’s gonna mention CENCH on the album? 😮💨😮💨
They don’t even know
I know j Cole is clenching his lil Cole hole waiting for Kendrick to respond
nah Cole hole is crazy
It’s disappointing, but I respect J Cole for his reasoning. You gotta be honest with yourself before anyone else and it doesn’t matter what a single other person thinks abt that. If bro felt like it was forced I don’t blame him.
Cole talks the same way Cody used to when pretending to do a frat boy voice
Little did they know…
He was most likely pressured to do it for the publicity it would give which is the same reason every other rapper creates fake beef to rap about. This drama is not fr, it’s for views, listens, and clicks.
not fr. he did this because he was peer pressured by the community to respond to kendrick, and when he did respond he felt like it wasn't in his morals. this drama isn't fake but it isn't completely real; its just a bunch of men competing and trying to flex their stature's, they're genuinely standing their grounds, but it isn't 'real' to the point that blood'll be shed
@@phyllip5382 I kinda agree kinda don’t. Idk tho no way we’ll ever know for sure just how “real” the beef was.
@@skylarfulcher997it’s always been Kendrick and drake with the actual animosity towards each other for the past 10 years. Cole has too much respect for Kendrick to diss his discography which is what didn’t sit with him. The diss pushed a side out of him he didn’t like and didn’t believe either.
@@Citehzenratt98 100% agree with that part of it that caused Cole’s reaction a couple days after the release. I just still think a lot of the beef is planned on both sides to get people listening. Not all rap beef is faked of course, but in this circumstance it definitely seems to be that way because it’s so out of Cole’s character.
''the beat was kinda hard hitting'' nicest way of saying a song was dogwater lol
it’s still cole world
He sure was conflicted
J cole is just too humble
😂😂🫵📸
No he fucking isn't. Otherwise he wouldn't have put out that fuck ass album
noel is literally the voice, no durk
J Cole did delete later 🤷🏼♀️
Can't believe that Cole did Will Smith himself.
the rap lore is crazy
From the outside it’s easy to say that it’s just competition but since this is their careers, egos are also on the line. It can start friendly but can end in whatever way. The only way to win a beef in hip hop is to disrespect the other person on a personal level. Who’s to say non of them wouldn’t get in their feelings if they felt like they were losing. I’ve yet to see a hip hop beef that isn’t personal to some degree.
of course cody likes that trash ass song 💀
I actually really liked Anthony Fantano’s take on it
All right so after this weekend I now know why he bowed out. He made the right choice. Drake and Kendrick are getting ACTIVE
Never thought id wish for noel to go back to talking about nascar
I HOPE Kendrick calls cole out and makes him spar, i swear jcole is one of my goats fr buut nah he cant back out like that
as you guys can tell that this beef is actual blood now. the whole industry involved now and jcole really didn’t want to be involved. drakes diss track got leaked today and it’s getting ugly, he called out rick ross, the weeknd, metro , kdot. Jcole was doing it for competition but realized this shit was getting to serious. we laughed and critiqued him but now look at how serious this beef has gotten. his heart doesn’t wanna hate his peers and now that it’s gotten so serious he’s probably grateful that he stepped out. so ur take was dog shit stick to EDM and everyone got their feelings in this. he didn’t which is why he left
Shut up J cole
I’m with Noel. Kendrick better make Cole fight back
weird of y'all to not mention the transphobic line which is a big part of why cole got backlash and would've factored into the apology.
conveniently not mentioning jcole's transphobic verse about kendrick's aunt that he talked about in "auntie diaries". Ppl aren't just mad at him bc it was a lame song
Drake went pretty hard
I don’t know. It’s rare to see something so real. I respect it to a degree.
Also, Cole has been sneak dissin' for a year. You can't get to the point you asked for and back down.
he hasn’t been sneak dissing for a year idk what you’re on
@@esque7091 From the feature with Yachty "Niggas fake-progressive and woke, I started sayin' less/ I had to stop it, peeped how they profit off of racial stress/ Some activists got so rich, they prolly wish we stay oppressed/ Studio steppers movin' extra on songs, fakin' rep/ Only breakin' bad in the lab, thought y'all was makin' meth/ Niggas makin' threats and I laugh, that's 'cause you ain't a threat" here he is talking about "studio steppers" being fake activists and making a bad album. That was definitely a Kendrick bar. There have been other more subtle lines, but that one is pretty obvious.
😅
Cole won in the end, all the others doing rituals just to write poetry to each other
J Cole always been mid
J. Cole apologized for his diss trk to Kendrick Lamar, but not for the transphobic bars?? Ok
Lol
Womp womp cry a river
Touch grass
Shut up
whomp whomp
I'm disappointed that they didn't bring up J Coles transphobia.
You’re disappointed that 2 straight cisgender comedians didn’t mention transphobia? You know these 30+ year old men are not your actual friends right?
No one who listens to rap cares about that shit🤣
bc it was him being ignorant not him being hateful. he’s like an out of touch uncle who says all the wrong things
@@AllStarrKoit’s 2024 people definitely care
Not to mention the lines that are just fully transphobic
