You failed to mention the hwy 85 rolling parking lot that people will get stuck in if they work outside of crestview. The traffic situation currently in crestview is HORRIBLE! The lack of planning ahead has hurt locals and those moving here. If you are planning to move to Crestview and have appts or will be working in Ft Walton Bch, Niceville, or Destin leave at the very least an hour or more before your appt or work time. Good luck!

We did not fail to mention hwy 85, it just was not part of the conversation as this was a "pros" video about Crestview. It wouldn't make sense to tell all the cons about Crestview for the viewers that are looking for the pros only. We have discussed Crestview traffic on well over 25+ videos on the channel, we are VERY transparent in the traffic issues in Crestview as well as traffic issues along the rest of the Emerald Coast.
Lots of new restaurants in Crestview (Chick-fil-A, Chilis, Chipotle, Texas Road House) Pensacola is a quick 45 min drive on I-10 where there are a couple of malls (Cordova) lots of entertainment options, several movie theaters, tours and music venues. Crestview is a slower pace of life than Fort Walton or Destin. Destin is also a 45 min drive but you must pay a toll to cross the Bay Bridge. During Rush hour it takes 40+ min to drive from Eglin to Crestview, more if there is an accident on 85. Just settle in with a good pod cast and chill out. Crestview has a nice movie theater, roller skating rink, and a new strip mall with Planet Fitness, Aldi, Ulta, Marshall's, Five Below, Burlington's Coat Factory. While it is smaller than Pensacola and Destin it also comes with a slower pace of life which is really nice.

I'm assuming we are talking about Crestview since that's what the video was about :-) in Crestview there are a few different mobile home parks, we've got blueberry county estates which is a laid-back kind of style RV park with some mobile homes on it and then depending if you're looking for an RV park specifically there's also one called hilltop RV Park. And then they've got a mobile home sales office named affordable homes Crestview, where you can purchase a mobile home and then set it on a piece of land somewhere. As far as dedicated areas or neighborhoods or mobile home parks that are specifically for snowbirds, I'm not aware of any of those in our area. Did that help?
I've been in Crestucky sine 2020 and enjoy above hwy 90. When you cross 90 going south I call it Hades for a few reasons #1 traffic, #2 Homeless addics jay walking looking to get hit #3 they're no border wall
@@Crissy410 ahh yes that's true. I haven't been up there for far too long (5 or 6 years, unfortunately) so I didn't think about it but I've heard they've been pretty solid too.

I-10 ends in Santa Monica, California
I moved out of Crestview October 2022 but not very far because I live in niceville

Summit of Britton Hill is the highest elevation in the state of Florida. It's also not far from Crestview on highway 285
There's also a park in northview estates over on PJ Adams with A splash pad but there's not very many places to park
Crestuckey is lower georgia / alabama pretty boring town off of I 10.
