Thank you so much for your input on this machine. I think I’m sold on this one over a xtool since this is more my budget. Also you got you a new subscriber! ❤
Maybe the best WeCreat video analysis I have seen! Please keep posting WeCreat videos, especially for leather and how much you can accomplish with the MakeIt software without going out to third party software. I have the Vision 20w and do almost everything that can be done with a diode laser. I LOVE my WeCreat! And as you grow with the MakeIt software the more thorough and impressive it is.... I love working with leather on my Vision. If I have one major question that I am working on it is, do you have a best way to get rid of, or minimize, the smell of the burnt leather? I am using an Ozone generator to eliminate the burn smell. I think it might be the way to go but I'm always looking for more and better alternatives. Thank you for any feedback! I'm subscribing to your awesome channel.
I am so interested in you using the WeCreat with leather. I have read that chrome tan should not be cut with lasers. I am not sure what the difference is.
I had read that as well honestly. But I also found an article recently that it's no longer an issue, and that the product used in those leathers no longer is. But don't take my word on it. On top of that, if you're venting it safely it wouldn't matter anyways I imagine.
I do a lot of playing around honestly. I need to figure out some custom settings that I just lock right in, but slow and hot for cuts seems to be the thing at 20w for most leather.

I'm using the xtool M1. I quite like it for what I need it for.
This thing looks like a beast! I'm still looking for the one that fits my needs and price. Great video.

any recommendations on settings to use with leather? it looks like you used the 3mm basswood settings for your test print

going medieval with lasers
Hi, I'm just looking for a laser which will engrave AND cut leather ( up to 4mm ) . Do you thing this will be the right one for me?
Any 20w is minimum this would be fine. 40w is my own preferred solid spot though.
woa ca l'air genial mais ca marche aussi sur le cuir ?
Of course it works on Leather that's what I use it for! :)
This looks very interesting. Shame I already have an engraver.
What are you using?
The Xtool M1. I like it for what I need it for.
Thanks!
thanks for sharing!
My pleasure!
First!!!
One of the sketchiest things ever is when a SCAdian says "wait a minute, I got an idea"
Bahahahah
Use the bag to pull it up out of the box next time.
Honestly I should have just cut the box off of it. lol
