Hi guys! My thoughts on the quietness of the Arts District are that the AD is much more of a local Las Vegas area. It's more of a place where people pop in on their lunch breaks and grab a bite or a coffee and then the bars and restaurants pick up in the after work hours. It's not going to have the same buzz as the Strip or Fremont areas, but that's what's so charming about it also. I think that it's starting to gain a following from more tourists, but it's still a fairly local scene 😊
Yeah we kinda thought that might be the reason, we found the whole week to be fairly quiet as well as it was just after labour day and before mexican independence day so might have some impact too. Hope your keeping well and looking forward to your next trip xx
I'd agree. Much more local focussed. My favourite place is 'Silver Stamp' which is small enough to have character with only a few punters in it - especially when there are 'interesting' people drinking of an afternoon.
Great Video. My wife and I go to the Arts district every time we go to Vegas. There is alot more going on at night and on the weekends. The first Friday of every month they close the streets and have a bunch of craft vendors and food trucks with music. Ester's Kitchen was ranked in the Top 10 Italian restaurants in the US. (make reservation) Might be worth another look in the future!
Yeah on reflection we might go back at some stage next year in the evening or of a weekend to try and see the difference. Thanks so much for watching 😁😁
We went to the arts district around 6pm and met some friends. Did a bit of a crawl and everywhere was VERY busy! We were actually planning on doing a daytime visit this time round, but now I'm reconsidering!
Hi guys we love watching your Vegas Vlogs we went on a Friday and it was absolutely amazing lively buzzing busy Chris if you like Guinness try some of the stouts from the other breweries you might be surprised.
Chris has tried various other Stouts over the years but always reverts back to Guinness as the OG 😍 we might in a couple of years time go back on a different day to the arts District but for now there's just so much more on offer on the Strip and in downtown itself that I don't know if we would go again for a while

I was on Fremont the same night as you and the slot machines were not friendly at any property we went to as well. Went back 2 more times during our stay with the same results. Fremont is one of our favorite places, but the odds were not on our side this trip. Had much better luck at MGM properties and hit my first Vegas handpay at Westgate, of all places. Great series and vlogs. Wish I would have known you were there the same time frame as us. Could have met up for a pint. Cheers.
Sorry we missed you guys the slots were bad for us in most places except for Venetian and the north strip. Definitely found them to be a lot tighter this trip 😁 I'm sure our trips will cross again in the future thanks for watching

Great vlog, you two! Area 15 is a couple of km fron the arts district. That's where you'll find the immersive attractions, interactive museums, bars, and the infamous Omega Mart. Definitely worth a visit 🥂

The shirt definitely provided us with a lot of laughs haha 😂😂 and the fact those wee bags were only $5 was a bargain. If you try it we hear weekends and evenings are a lot busier. We really recommend stray pirate the drinks are great 😃

Yeah, I’m not feeling the “vibe” for the Arts District. I’d prefer going out to Durango or the Boyd casinos to get a different vibe. AD never impressed me. By the way, the hat/ball cap actually looked nice, the color was awesome❤

There is always a low after a holiday like Labor Day everyone is back on their best behavior at work staying home for the next the big one which is Halloween. Plus it’s been so bloody hot people are heat exhausted. The Arts District is fairly best at night it has a praying mantis’s shooting fire every hour. Freemont East as you probably know has lots of bars and eating establishments again has a night vibe. During the day after a holiday people are at the pool soaking up the sun and relaxing getting reading for the night time action eating drinking gambling. Tell Chris don’t to be too down on the terrace baloneys until you’ve tried it at the Cosmopolitan having those two beers sitting on a terrace taking in the view is magical 💯
Yeah we kind of thought that might have been what it was just the lull between the two holidays. We will definitely be on that cosmo balcony one night with our little carry out in hand 😍😍🤩🤩 we saw the praying mantis a few times it's pretty 😍 we love Fremont and always visit there each trip 💗💗

So I recently found out that there is a free shuttle that goes around the art district. The video I saw this was like from El Cortez and around. I am going to try it on my next visit there.
It's called the Las Vegas loop we tried to use it in this video but it never showed up it's meant to run between 10 and 6 p.m. every day. It seems like a great option when it runs as it goes all around downtown to the strat and even to the outlets.
@@GAK8919 we were down there from 11am till 5pm and kinda hoping it would come to life. Though from what we've heard a Saturday and evenings down there is a lot busier so maybe if you do go, plan for it to be then

Sorry didn’t enjoy the Arts District - we go every visit and get a duck from able baker 😊, Hudl is a great brewery too and we are booked into Soul Belly for our Oct trip, you can actually sit in Hudl (huddle) and order food from Soul Belly and they bring it in, even though they are separate businesses, we’ve been & its been quiet & jumping and we always visit in the afternoon & end up finishing the night at Fremont 👍
We got our little duck from Abel baker. We brought him all the way home it was the George Washington duck. We did enjoy parts of the Arts District but just not enough to want to go back. The chicken place was great though 😁😁 thanks for watching
Tony Romas has been around forever. I used to eat there with my parents as a kid at home in Florida. There are a million better places for Prime Rib. I would skip it.
Thank you for sharing the Arts District but can't say I would ever visit as it is not to my liking. I guess you can say Vegas for me is the strip period. The downtown area is too run down and a lot of shady people walking around.
We are definitely strip people as well we just love the whole vibe of the Las Vegas strip. We do like to go to Fremont Street for at least once per visit to experience that but for us definitely the arts District was a one and done.

Tony Romas has been around forever. I used to eat there with my parents as a kid at home in Florida. There are a million better places for Prime Rib. I would skip it.

Thank you for sharing the Arts District but can't say I would ever visit as it is not to my liking. I guess you can say Vegas for me is the strip period. The downtown area is too run down and a lot of shady people walking around.
We are definitely strip people as well we just love the whole vibe of the Las Vegas strip. We do like to go to Fremont Street for at least once per visit to experience that but for us definitely the arts District was a one and done.
