I also really want Quixel to do this one day, but in the meantime, 51Deadalus has really good hour long tutorials of him going through and completely relighting existing scenes, and he splits each scene into a playlist in chronological order, it's really nice. If you really want to see a really quick example, go to his 2.1 lighting academy video, and look at the light at the beginning and then the end of the video, it's amazing. Another guy on UA-cam, Guilherme Rabello, created the most photorealistic outdoor scene I had ever seen, and he completely credited 51Deadalus for learning how to light it, so I'd check him out if you're interested.
Also, Unreal Studio - Lightmass and Beyond, by Wolfe WOLF is a great video that explains what each lighting setting does in high detail. I'd definitely check that one out too if you're completely new (btw I don't think he touches fog, just things used in interior lighting).

We would love 3-4 videos of an hour long on just one scene to really just illustrate why, how and what is being done to achieve that particular goal. You guys are the best and with deep insight of just 1-2 scene, we can really understand what and how we should do at every step to of the project.we understand it sounds lazy and selfish and you guys are already explaining enough !! And we am really grateful for it. Thank you !

Great work! What I want to see next is step by step tutorial for beginners. Like distribute a simple building model made in blender, tell exactly what assets you use from Megascans, and then show how you use Mixer & Bridge, and setup scene in UE4 so that a complete beginner can make the exact same scene for practice. Maybe it will be so long but I really want that. I am an indie game dev who wants to try making realistic scenes like this but it’s pretty hard now.

Thanks a lot, very helpful video. One question is, what do you mean by rendering inside the engine? Is it possible to let it calculate the light not-realtime to get an image without noise? Or do you mean pausing the camera and waiting until the raytracing calculates, and then taking a screenshot?

    • @behrampatel3563

Will this project be distributed somewhere? This is great - but would be awesome to get some of the details that aren't talked too much about (or shown) - which is just as simple as opening the project itself and poking around (adding more context to these great videos). Are you using a baked skylight and everything else is moveable ray-traced for directional/fill/etc? It would be great to get an overview on capturing a video within a ray-trace scene. I've not found much on that process relative to ray-tracing specifically.
