Agree. I have a 71 delta 88 royale convertible with a fully rebuilt bored over 455 olds. High torque starter, headers with h pipe. True duals with flowmasters
A lot of other muscle cars get the talk but I’ve always thought the Olds 1970 442 W30 with fiberglass hood and wheel wells was the most badazz of them all.
I had a 70 442 W-30 4spd with the same color combination as this beauty. I really miss that car. It was so special, fiberglass hood, red front wheel wells and of course the 455 beast. Basically a factory drag car. I appreciate cars like this and the people who keep them doing what these cars were built for.
This is a good lookin' 442 although rather bastardized. Note the missing W30 badging underneath the 442 badging. The red plastic innder fenders (less weight) are missing under the hood. No trumpet exhaust tips. It's got a 455 so it's a beast on the strip but a true factory W30 it is not.
My dad had this car. I seen a lot of muscle cars and still today this car was king. I remember we would be going up a steep hill and he would give a little fss. The front would lift up like a plane. Awesome machine, wish i had it still. Parts got impossible to find and off it went. Could you imagine filling this beast up today at 3 dollars a gallon? It was nasty back in the day now it would be a death sentence.
Mr. B. Here ! 🍩☕️👀😎👍. I am Oldsmobile guy from a a 58 Super 88 to 1984 Delta 88 : two 442’s one 1970 Convertible, & 1976 442 Cutlass sport coupe ! Love the wheely 🛞 very cool ! 🍩☕️👀😎👍
I had my 71 442 right around the time your dad bought that car mine was gold with black stripes I bought it in the beginning of 1982 I got busted twice in the same night I got brought to Jil with 11 tickets and they impounded my car my dad came and got me out of jail and my car out the impound and before he got home I was back in jail with 17 more tickets you have been to da pad in New Orleans east this before that was the race spot it was only about 6 miles away from there were I got busted racing this guy with a 66 big block chevelle. I totaled my cutless in 1984 going to the world's fair with my girl friend. I miss that car it was as nice as your dads.
Tony is a legend. And the car is sweet. What a combination. Keep it up Tony and Tess Tess hope u are making a speedy recovery Thank u guys for what you guys do for the sport.
I had a 71 cutlass supreme with a 455 rocket and a turbo 400 transmission and I also put a crane cam in it and it had a B&M shift kit and I put a 411 posi in it and I took it to Atco Speedway in Atco New Jersey and it ran low 12's in the !/4mile and it didn't have nitrous in it because I was afraid of it catching on fire and I absolutely loved it and I was hooked on cuttlass's ever since then 💪😎👍❤️
When that car launched and I seen it hook I was convinced there's no way that is a 12 Bolt. Because the way the car hooked. I've broken so many of them it's unreal.b

I so love the 442's. I had one when I was pregnant with my youngest daughter. She is now in her 40's.
Tony's dad is one cool cat, love to listen to the stories he tells.
A lot of other muscle cars get the talk but I’ve always thought the Olds 1970 442 W30 with fiberglass hood and wheel wells was the most badazz of them all.
Love the 68-72 GM A-bodies .

Very cool car and an even better story. 👍🏼
My 1970 GT build 442 is about a month away from hitting the streets
I seen it has a 12 Bolt. Amazing strength I thought it would have been A9 inch. Truly amazing
Nice car and the story is better
Good old American muscle family
God bless
Running stock suspension on that is wild
Beautiful car! I'd give anything to have this.
Nice 442 👍👍👍👍
How badass im in the A.V too and have a 69 442.
Had a 69 442 back in the mid seventies with a hi compression 455 that replaced the original 400. It was fun!
I also know the car before Vince had it. Way before Tony was born. This is Mitch.
Wonder what kind of fuel and ignition timing components Tony is running. 13 to 1 is up there. That Olds is freaking sweet. I had no idea he had that.
Car looks great and I love the ole Centerline Telstars, wish someone would reproduce them...
0wned and we raced 1970 black Oldsmobile called Father Skunk.
❤❤❤
How about a story about tonys gray mare car !!! ?? One bad ass legendary street race car !!
Dude!!
I think the 442 leaves harder than the old man's garage
