Thank you so much for this introduction to the distinctive cinema organ sound, and its potted history. It was just what I was hoping to find at the end of my internet search.
Excellent, so pleased you enjoyed it!

Also have a look at the Lancastrian Theatre Organ Trust, based in Peel Green, Eccles, s
Salford.
Know it well, but have yet to play any concerts there :)
Hey there Tom. I’m a fan of you, just to tell you that I like that church organ-like string celeste sound at 3:18.
Many thanks - glad you enjoyed the video! Best regards, Tom
Thanks Tom!
It almost sounds soo HURDY-GURDY!!!!
Thank you for this video. May I be so bold as to ask you, please, to get a lapel mike? You obviously have a free-standing one on the console itself, and it picks up every movement, which detracts from your excellent commentary. 🙂
Thanks
This is a very old video, one of the first.... I now have a dedicated UA-cam studio for videos WITH lapel mike!

@KeyboardSkillsPro Oh dear, I've done it again: opened my mouth and jumped in with both feet because something irritates me, rather than engaging my brain! One day, I will learn. 😁 Thank you for coming back to me.
No worries at all - the mic annoys me too but hey early days on the channel and we’ve learnt a lot since then :)
All the best
Tom
Hey John! Great to see you back on here. I use follow you on the Lowery page. Was not thrilled with the newer looking Lowery. I was wondering, if you could be so kind to do a tutorial on theatre organ runs? Thank you and again, very glad to see you on here again.
+AllenMDS T3 hello - my name is Tom, not John?!??
More tutorials coming soon :)

Tom..I am SOOOOOOOo sorry. I have NO CLUE, why the name John, was the brain. Profusely apologize. Obviously a brain malfunction :-)
Lord knows, I've watch many Lowrey vids these past few years. Haha. Should have known better. ;-)
