We just bought in Meridiana, and I was torn between highland and toll brothers. Ultimately the price difference was the driving factor! Can’t wait to move into my new highland home!
Bought highland homes in pomona. So far so good. Buying in Meridiana is less costly than pomona but it’s very far from TMC so we chose pomona. We bought a one story home which we prefer. Highland homes is in the top 20 home builders in the us along with toll brothers. Not perry homes.
Highland homes NOT a good builder from my experience on a new home that was built in Montgomery TX. I have pictures to prove the awful workmanship. Major issues: framing around the kitchen area for the cabinets too long. The brick in few areas of the home - back and front side - brick wall bowing, Front Window framing not square and not allowing window to close. These highlands homes are not $500+ value, its more like $275 or less. Highlands homes hiring practice is to hire folks that are not experience in there trade. They hire people without any kind of vetting. Highlands Homes do not provide any quality control during the build process.
This is 100% correct you would not believe the issues that we’re having with the leak and my warranty. My one year warranty is about up and they do not want to extend it so I’ve had to get an attorney involved now we have mold they are addressing that right now, but very limited I would not recommend this builder for my life.

I am looking at Meridiana as well and I looking at Perry and Highland.
@@moniquegraves237 I went with building with Highland in Meridiana as well everything smooth so far

Meridiana is less than 10 minutes from Pomona and from Pomona to med center is around 20 minutes

Don’t buy highland,their workmanship is horrible
